Verse BSB Berean Standard Bible ASV American Standard Version
A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD , and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High ,
It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah , And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High ;
to proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night
To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning , And thy faithfulness every night ,
with the ten -stringed harp and the melody of the lyre .
With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; With a solemn sound upon the harp .
For You , O LORD , have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
For thou , Jehovah , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
How great are Your works, O LORD, how deep are Your thoughts !
How great are thy works, O Jehovah ! Thy thoughts are very deep.
A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand ,
A brutish man knoweth not ; Neither doth a fool understand this:
that though the wicked sprout like grass, and all evildoers flourish , they will be forever destroyed.
When the wicked spring as the grass, And when all the workers of iniquity do flourish ; It is that they shall be destroyed for ever .
But You , O LORD , are exalted forever!
But thou , O Jehovah , art on high for evermore.
For surely Your enemies, O LORD , surely Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
For , lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah , For, lo, thine enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
But You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox ; with fine oil I have been anointed.
But my horn hast thou exalted like `the horn of ' the wild - ox : I am anointed with fresh oil .
My eyes see the downfall of my enemies ; my ears hear the wailing of my wicked foes .
Mine eye also hath seen ` my desire' on mine enemies , Mine ears have heard ` my desire' of the evil-doers that rise up against me .
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree , and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm - tree : He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They are planted in the house of Jehovah; They shall flourish in the courts of our God.
In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain,
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age ; They shall be full of sap and green :
to proclaim, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.
To show that Jehovah is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him .
