It is a
good thing
to give
thanks
unto
Jehovah
, And to sing praises unto
thy
name, O Most High ;
A
Psalm.
A
song
for
the
Sabbath
day.
It is good to praise
the
LORD
, and to sing praises to
Your
name, O Most High ,
To show
forth
thy
lovingkindness
in the morning ,
And thy
faithfulness every
night ,
to proclaim
Your
loving
devotion
in the morning and Your
faithfulness at
night
With an
instrument
of
ten strings,
and with
the psaltery;
With
a
solemn
sound
upon
the harp
.
with the
ten -stringed
harp
and the melody
of
the lyre
.
For thou
, Jehovah
, hast
made me glad through
thy
work:
I will
triumph
in
the works of thy
hands.
For You
, O
LORD
, have
made me glad by
Your
deeds;
I sing
for
joy
at
the works of Your
hands.
How great are thy
works, O Jehovah!
Thy
thoughts
are
very
deep .
How great are Your
works, O LORD,
how
deep are
Your
thoughts!
A brutish
man knoweth
not ;
Neither
doth
a fool understand this:
A senseless
man does
not know,
and
a fool does
not
understand ,
When
the wicked spring
as
the
grass, And when
all the
workers
of
iniquity
do
flourish ;
It
is
that
they shall
be destroyed for
ever
.
that
though
the wicked sprout
like
grass, and all evildoers
flourish ,
they will
be forever
destroyed.
But thou
, O Jehovah
, art
on
high
for
evermore.
But You
, O LORD
, are
exalted
forever!
For ,
lo,
thine
enemies, O Jehovah,
For,
lo
, thine
enemies shall
perish; All the
workers
of
iniquity
shall
be scattered.
For surely
Your
enemies, O LORD
, surely
Your
enemies will
perish; all evildoers
will
be scattered.
But my horn hast
thou
exalted
like `the
horn
of '
the
wild -
ox :
I
am
anointed
with fresh
oil.
But You
have
exalted
my horn like that
of a
wild ox ;
with fine
oil I
have
been
anointed
.
Mine
eye
also
hath
seen
`
my desire'
on
mine
enemies ,
Mine
ears
have
heard
`
my desire'
of
the evil-doers
that
rise
up
against
me
.
My eyes
see
the
downfall
of
my
enemies ;
my ears
hear
the wailing
of
my
wicked
foes
.
The righteous shall
flourish like the
palm -
tree :
He
shall
grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
The righteous will
flourish like a
palm tree ,
and
grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
They
are
planted in the house of Jehovah;
They shall
flourish in the courts of our God.
Planted in the house of the
LORD,
they will
flourish in the courts of our God.
They
shall
still
bring
forth
fruit
in old age ;
They shall
be
full
of
sap
and green :
In old age they will
still
bear
fruit;
healthy
and green they
will
remain,
To show
that
Jehovah
is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in
him
.
to proclaim,
“The
LORD
is upright; He is my Rock, and in
Him
there is no unrighteousness. ”
