Joseph like a flock; You
who
sit
enthroned
between
the cherubim, shine forth
Before Ephraim and
Benjamin and Manasseh ,
stir
up
thy
might,
And come to save us.
before Ephraim ,
Benjamin ,
and Manasseh .
Rally
Your
mighty
power
and come to save us.
Turn
us again
, O God ;
And cause thy
face to shine, and
we shall
be saved.
Restore
us, O God ,
and cause Your
face to shine upon
us
, that
we may
be saved.
O Jehovah
God of hosts, How long wilt
thou
be
angry
against the prayer
of thy
people?
O LORD
God of Hosts, how long will
Your
anger
smolder
against the prayers
of Your
people?
Thou
hast
fed them with the bread of tears ,
And given
them tears
to
drink in
large
measure.
You
fed them with the bread of tears and made
them drink the
full
measure of
their
tears
.
Thou
makest
us a
strife
unto
our neighbors; And
our enemies laugh
among
themselves
.
You
make
us contend
with
our neighbors; our enemies mock
us

Turn
us again
, O God of hosts ;
And cause thy
face to shine, and

be saved.

Thou
broughtest
a vine out
of
Egypt :
Thou
didst
drive
out the nations ,
and plantedst
it.
You
uprooted
a vine from
Egypt ;
You
drove
out the nations and transplanted
it.
Thou
preparedst
`room'
before
it, And it took deep
root ,
and filled the land.
You
cleared
the
ground
for
it, and it took root and filled the land.
The mountains were covered with
the
shadow
of
it
, And the boughs
thereof
were
`like'
cedars of
God
.
The mountains were covered by
its
shade
, and the mighty
cedars with
its
branches
.
It sent out its branches unto
the sea, And its shoots unto
the River.
It sent out its branches to
the Sea, and its shoots toward
the River.
Why hast
thou
broken down its walls, So that all they
that
pass by the
way
do
pluck
it
?
Why have
You
broken down its walls, so that all who
pass by pick
its
fruit
?
The boar out
of
the wood
doth
ravage
it, And the wild
beasts
of the field feed on
it.
The boar from
the forest
ravages
it, and the creatures
of the field feed upon
it.
Turn
again,
we
beseech
thee
, O God of hosts :
Look down from heaven ,
and behold,
and
visit
this vine ,
Return
, O God of Hosts ,
we
pray!
Look down from heaven and see!
Attend
to
this vine —
And
the stock
which
thy
right hand planted, And
the branch
that
thou
madest
strong
for thyself
.

burned

fire,

cut down :
They perish at the rebuke of thy
countenance.

vine
