Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation ; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men .
Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation : Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man .

For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?
For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off ? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy ?

Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me . Let them bring me to Your holy mountain , and to the place where You dwell .
Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me : Let them bring me unto thy holy hill , And to thy tabernacles .

Then I will go to the altar of God, to God , my greatest joy . I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.
Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy ; And upon the harp will I praise thee , O God, my God.

Why are you downcast , O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God , for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
