Jehovah;

Give thanks to
the
LORD,
for He is good; His loving
devotion
endures

.
Let the redeemed of Jehovah
say `
so '
, Whom he hath
redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
Let the redeemed of the
LORD
say so, whom He has
redeemed from the hand of the enemy
And gathered out
of
the lands, From the
east and from
the
west, From the
north and from
the
south.
and gathered from
the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
They
wandered in the
wilderness
in
a
desert way;
They
found
no city of
habitation
.
Some
wandered in desert wastelands,
finding
no path
to
a
city in
which
to
dwell
.
Hungry and thirsty ,
Their soul fainted in
them.
They
were

Then they cried unto
Jehovah
in their trouble, And he delivered them out
of
their distresses,
Then they cried out

Jehovah

For he satisfieth
the longing
soul,
And the hungry soul
he
filleth
with good.
For He satisfies
the thirsty
and fills
the hungry with good things
.
Such
as
sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Being
bound
in affliction and iron
,
Some

abhorreth
all manner

food ;

He guided

harbor

desired.

men

Jehovah
for his lovingkindness,

his wonderful
works

Let them exalt him also
in the assembly of the people ,
And praise him in the seat
of the elders.

and plant vineyards ,

get
them
fruits
of
increase
.
They

He blesseth
them also
, so
that

multiplied
greatly; And
he suffereth
not their cattle

decrease

oppression, trouble
, and sorrow .

they are decreased

contempt upon
princes,

there
is
no
way
.
He pours
out
contempt on
the
nobles
and makes
them wander in a
trackless
wasteland
.
Yet
setteth
he the needy on
high
from affliction ,
And maketh
`him'
families like a
flock
.
But
He lifts
the needy from affliction and increases
their
families like flocks
.
The upright shall
see it,
and be
glad;
And all iniquity shall
stop
her
mouth.
The upright see and rejoice,
and all iniquity shuts
its
mouth.
Whoso
is wise will
give
heed to these things ;
And they
will
consider the lovingkindnesses
of
Jehovah.
