And God blessed Noah and his sons ,
and said unto
them, Be fruitful ,
and multiply ,
and replenish
the earth.
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to
them, “
Be fruitful and multiply and fill
the earth.
And
the fear of
you
and the
dread of you shall
be
upon
every beast
of
the earth, and
upon
every bird of the heavens;
With
all
wherewith
the ground teemeth
, and all the fishes
of the sea ,
into your hand are
they
delivered
.
The fear and dread of you will
fall
on
every living
creature
on
the earth, every bird of the air,
every
creature
that
crawls
on
the ground, and all the fish
of the sea .
They
are
delivered
into your hand.
Every
moving
thing
that liveth
shall
be food for you; As the green herb
have
I given
you all.
Everything
that lives
and
moves
will
be food for you; just
as I
gave
you
the green plants,
I now
give
you all things
.
But flesh
with
the
life
thereof,
`which
is'
the
blood
thereof,
shall
ye
not eat.
But you
must
not eat meat
with
its
lifeblood
still
in
it
.
And surely your
blood,
`the
blood'
of
your
lives,
will
I require;
At
the
hand
of
every
beast
will I
require it.
And
at
the hand
of man ,
even
at
the
hand of
every
man's
brother,
will
I require
the life of man .
And surely I will require the life
of any
man or
beast
by
whose
hand your
lifeblood
is
shed.
I will
demand
an
accounting
from
anyone
who
takes
the life of his
fellow
man :
Whoso
sheddeth
man's
blood, by man shall
his blood be shed :
For in the
image of
God made he
man
.
Whoever
sheds
the
blood of
man
, by man his blood will
be shed ;
for in His
own
image God has
made mankind
.
And
you, be ye
fruitful ,
and multiply; Bring
forth
abundantly
in
the earth ,
and multiply therein
.
But
as
for
you, be fruitful and multiply; spread
out
across
the earth and multiply upon
it
. ”
And
God spake
unto
Noah ,
and to
his sons with him, saying,
Then
God said
to
Noah and his sons with him,
And
I,
behold, I establish my covenant with you ,
and with
your seed
after you ;
“
Behold, I now
establish My covenant with you and your descendants
after you ,
and with every living creature that is
with you ,
the birds, the cattle
, and every beast of the earth with
you.
Of
all
that go
out of the ark ,
even
every
beast
of
the
earth
.
and with every living creature that was
with you —
the birds, the livestock
, and every beast of the earth —every
living
thing
that came
out of the ark.
And I will
establish my covenant with you ;
neither
shall
all flesh
be cut off any
more
by the waters of the
flood; neither
shall
there any
more
be a flood to destroy the earth.
And I establish My covenant with you :
Never
again
will
all life
be cut off by the waters of a
flood; never
again
will
there be a flood to destroy the earth. ”
And God said, This is the token
of the covenant which
I make
between me and you and every living creature that
is
with you, for perpetual
generations:
And God said, “
This is the sign
of the covenant I am
making
between Me and you and every living creature with you, a
covenant
for all
generations to
come
:
I do
set my bow
in the cloud
, and it shall
be for
a token
of a
covenant between me and the earth.
I have
set My rainbow
in the clouds
, and it will
be a sign
of the
covenant between Me and the earth.
And
it
shall
come
to
pass,
when
I bring
a
cloud
over the earth ,
that
the bow
shall
be
seen
in the cloud
,
Whenever
I form
clouds
over the earth and
the rainbow
appears
in the clouds
,
and
I will remember my covenant ,
which
is
between me and you and every living creature of all
flesh;
and
the waters shall
no
more
become a flood to destroy all flesh
.
I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every
kind.
Never
again
will
the waters become a flood to destroy all life
.
And the bow
shall
be
in the cloud;
and
I will look
upon
it ,
that
I
may
remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all
flesh
that is upon
the earth.
And whenever
the rainbow
appears
in the clouds,
I will see
it and
remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every
kind
that is on
the earth. ”
And
God said unto
Noah, This is the token
of the covenant which
I have established between me and all
flesh
that
is
upon
the earth.
So
God said to
Noah, “
This is the sign
of the covenant that
I have established between Me and every
creature
on
the earth. ”
And
the sons of Noah ,
that
went
forth
from
the ark ,
were Shem, and
Ham, and Japheth :
and Ham is
the father of Canaan.
The sons of Noah who
came
out
of
the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth .
And Ham was
the father of Canaan.
These three were the sons of Noah :
and of
these
was
the whole earth overspread
.
These three were the sons of Noah ,
and from
them
the whole earth was
populated
.
And
Noah began
to
be
a husbandman
, and
planted
a vineyard :
Now
Noah ,
a man
of
the
soil
, proceeded
to
plant
a vineyard .
and
he drank of the
wine, and
was
drunken.
And
he was
uncovered within
his tent.
But
when
he drank some
of its
wine, he became
drunk
and
uncovered himself
inside
his tent.
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the
nakedness
of
his father,
and told his two brethren
without
.
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father’s
nakedness
and told his two brothers
outside
.
And
Shem and Japheth took a garment ,
and laid
it upon
both
their shoulders, and went
backward, and
covered the
nakedness
of
their father
. And
their faces were backward,
and
they saw
not their father's
nakedness.
Then
Shem and Japheth took a garment and placed
it across
their shoulders, and walking
backward, they
covered their father’s
nakedness
. Their faces were turned
away
so
that
they did
not see
their father’s
nakedness.
And
Noah awoke from his wine,
and knew
what his youngest son had done unto
him .
When
Noah awoke from his drunkenness
and learned
what his youngest son had done to
him ,
And
he said, Cursed be Canaan ;
A servant of servants shall he be unto
his brethren
.
he said, “
Cursed be Canaan !
A servant of servants shall he be to
his brothers
. ”
And
he said,
Blessed be Jehovah
, the God of Shem ;
And
let
Canaan be his
servant.
He also
declared:
“
Blessed be the
LORD
, the God of Shem !
May
Canaan be the
servant of
Shem
.
God enlarge
Japheth ,
And
let
him
dwell in the tents of Shem ;
And let
Canaan be his servant.
May
God expand
the
territory
of
Japheth ;
may
he
dwell in the tents of Shem ,
and may
Canaan be his servant. ”
And
Noah
lived
after the flood three
hundred
and
fifty
years.
After the flood ,
Noah
lived
350
years.
And
all
the
days
of
Noah were
nine
hundred
and
fifty
years :
And he died.
So
Noah lived
a
total
of
950
years ,
and then
he died.
