And
it
came
to
pass,
when men began to multiply on the face of the earth ,
and daughters were born unto
them,
Now
when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to
them,
That
the sons of God saw the daughters of men that
they
were fair;
and they took them
wives of
all
which
they chose.
the sons of God saw that
the daughters of men were beautiful,
and they took as
wives whomever
they chose.
And
the LORD said, My spirit shall
not always
strive
with man, for that
he also
is flesh:
yet
his days shall be an
hundred
and
twenty
years.
So
the LORD said, “
My Spirit will
not contend
with man forever
, for he is mortal;
his days shall be 120
years. ”
There
were giants
in
the earth in those days ;
and also
after
that,
when the sons of God came
in
unto
the daughters of men ,
and they bare
children
to
them ,
the
same
became mighty men which
were
of old, men of renown.
The
Nephilim
were on
the earth in those days —
and afterward
as
well—
when the sons of God had
relations
with
the daughters of men .
And they bore
them children
who
became the
mighty men of old, men of renown.
And
God
saw that the wickedness of man was great in
the earth, and that every imagination
of the thoughts of his heart was only
evil continually
.
Then
the
LORD
saw that the wickedness of man was great upon
the earth, and that every inclination
of the thoughts of his heart was altogether
evil all
the
time
.
And it
repented
the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it
grieved him
at
his heart.
And the LORD regretted
that He had made man on the earth, and He
was
grieved in
His heart.
And
the LORD said, I will destroy
man whom I have created from the face of the earth ;
both
man ,
and beast ,
and the
creeping
thing,
and the
fowls
of the air ;
for it
repenteth
me
that I have made them.
So
the LORD said, “
I will blot
out
man ,
whom I have created ,
from the face of the earth —every
man and beast and crawling
creature
and bird
of the air —
for I
am
grieved
that I have made them. ”
But
Noah found grace
in the eyes of the LORD.
Noah ,
however,
found favor
in the eyes of the LORD.
These
are
the generations
of Noah :
Noah was a just
man and
perfect
in his generations,
and
Noah walked with God.
This
is
the account
of Noah .
Noah was a righteous
man ,
blameless
in his generation;
Noah walked with God.
And Noah begat
three sons ,
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
And Noah had
three sons :
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The earth also
was corrupt before
God, and the
earth
was
filled
with
violence.
Now
the earth was corrupt in
the
sight
of
God, and full
of
violence.
And God looked upon the earth ,
and ,
behold,
it was corrupt; for all flesh
had
corrupted
his
way
upon
the earth.
And God looked upon the earth and saw
that
it was corrupt; for all living
creatures
on
the earth had
corrupted
their
ways
.
And
God said unto
Noah, The end of all flesh
is
come before me ;
for
the earth is filled
with
violence through
them;
and,
behold, I will destroy them with
the earth.
Then
God said to
Noah, “
The end of all living
creatures
has
come before Me ,
because
through
them
the earth is full
of
violence .
Now
behold, I will destroy both
them and
the earth.
Make thee
an ark of gopher wood; rooms
shalt
thou
make in the ark ,
and shalt
pitch
it within
and
without
with pitch.
Make for
yourself
an ark of gopher wood; make rooms
in the ark and coat
it with pitch inside
and
out
.
And this is the
fashion
which
thou
shalt
make
it of
: The length
of
the
ark shall
be three
hundred
cubits, the
breadth
of
it
fifty
cubits, and the
height
of
it
thirty
cubits.
And this is how
you
are
to
build
it: The ark is
to
be 300
cubits long
, 50
cubits wide
, and 30
cubits high
.
A
window
shalt
thou
make
to the ark, and
in
a cubit shalt
thou
finish
it
above;
and
the door of
the
ark
shalt
thou
set
in the side thereof;
with
lower, second
, and third
stories
shalt
thou
make
it
.
You
are
to make
a
roof
for
the ark, finish
its
walls
a cubit from
the top,
place
a
door in the side of
the
ark,
and
build
lower, middle
, and upper
decks
.
And ,
behold, I ,
even
I,
do
bring a
flood
of
waters
upon the earth ,
to destroy all
flesh,
wherein
is
the breath of life ,
from
under
heaven;
and
every
thing
that
is
in
the earth shall
die
.
And behold, I will
bring floodwaters
upon the earth to destroy every
creature
under
the heavens
that
has
the
breath of life .
Everything
on
the earth will
perish
.
But with
thee
will
I establish my covenant ;
and thou
shalt
come
into
the ark ,
thou,
and thy
sons ,
and thy
wife ,
and thy
sons '
wives with thee
.
But I will
establish My covenant with
you,
and you
will
enter
the ark —you
and your
sons and your
wife and your
sons ’
wives with you
.
And of
every
living
thing
of
all
flesh,
two of every sort
shalt
thou
bring
into the ark ,
to keep them alive with thee;
they
shall
be
male
and
female
.
And you
are
to
bring
two of every living
creature
into the ark —male
and
female—
to keep them alive with you
.
Of
fowls
after
their
kind,
and
of
cattle
after
their
kind,
of every creeping
thing
of
the
earth
after
his
kind ,
two
of every
sort
shall
come unto
thee,
to keep
them
alive.
Two
of every kind of bird
and
animal
and
crawling
creature
will
come to you
to
be
kept
alive.
And
take thou
unto
thee
of all
food that is eaten ,
and thou
shalt
gather it to
thee;
and
it
shall
be
for
food for thee,
and for them
.
You
are
also
to
take for
yourself
every
kind
of food that is eaten and gather it as
food for yourselves
and for the
animals
. ”
Thus
did
Noah ;
according
to
all
that
God commanded him ,
so
did
he
.
So
Noah did
everything
precisely
as
God had
commanded him.
