In the last days terrible
times will
come.
But know
this ,
that
in the last days grievous
times shall
come.
For men will
be lovers of themselves
, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant
, abusive
, disobedient to their
parents, ungrateful
, unholy,
For men shall
be lovers of self
, lovers of money, boastful, haughty
, railers
, disobedient to parents, unthankful
, unholy,
unloving
, unforgiving
, slanderous
, without self-control, brutal
, without
love
of good,
without
natural
affection
, implacable
, slanderers
, without self-control, fierce
, no
lovers
of good,
traitorous
, reckless
, conceited
, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God ,
traitors
, headstrong
, puffed
up
, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God ;
having
a form of godliness but denying
its
power. Turn
away
from such
as
these !
holding
a form of godliness ,
but having
denied
the
power therefore
. From these also
turn
away.
They
are the
kind
who
worm
their
way
into households
and captivate
vulnerable
women who
are
weighed
down
with sins and
led astray
by various
passions
,
For
of
these
are they
that
creep
into houses,
and take
captive
silly
women laden
with sins ,
led away
by divers
lusts
,
who
are
always
learning but
never able to come to a
knowledge of the truth.

as Jannes and Jambres opposed
Moses, so also
these men
oppose
the truth. They

depraved
in mind and
disqualified

the faith.

as Jannes and Jambres withstood

reprobate
concerning
the faith.
But they will
not
advance
much
further. For just
like
Jannes
and
Jambres,
their folly will
be plain
to everyone
.
But they shall
proceed
no
further. For their folly shall
be evident
unto
all
men,
as
theirs
also
came
to be
.
You,
however,
have
observed
my teaching, my
conduct, my
purpose, my
faith, my
patience
, my
love, my
perseverance
,
But
thou
didst
follow
my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering
, love, patience
,
my
persecutions, and
the
sufferings that
came
upon
me in
Antioch, Iconium, and
Lystra .
What persecutions I endured !
Yet
the Lord rescued
me from
all
of
them

And
out
of
them

the Lord delivered
me.
Indeed
, all who
desire
to
live godly lives
in Christ Jesus will

persecuted,

live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer
persecution.

from
bad
to
worse, deceiving and being deceived.
But
evil men and impostors
shall
wax
worse and
worse
, deceiving and being deceived.
But as
for
you,
continue
in the things you
have
learned and firmly
believed
, since
you
know
from
whom you
have
learned them.
But abide
thou
in the things which
thou
hast
learned and hast
been
assured
of
, knowing
of
whom thou
hast
learned them.
From infancy
you
have
known the Holy
Scriptures,
which are able to make you
wise for
salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
And
that
from a
babe
thou
hast
known the sacred
writings
which are able to make thee
wise unto
salvation through faith which
is
in Christ Jesus.
All
Scripture is
God -breathed
and
is useful
for instruction
, for conviction
, for correction, and
for training
in righteousness ,
Every
scripture inspired
of

profitable
for teaching
, for reproof
, for correction, for instruction

in righteousness .
so
that the man of God may be complete, fully
equipped
for
every good work.

every good work.
