I
exhort
therefore,
that,
first of all, supplications
, prayers, intercessions, and giving
of
thanks,
be made
for all
men;
First of all, then
, I
urge
that
petitions,
prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving
be offered
for everyone—
For kings ,
and for
all that
are
in authority ;
that we may lead a
quiet
and peaceable
life
in all godliness and honesty
.
for kings and all those
in authority —so
that we may lead tranquil
and quiet
lives
in all godliness and dignity
.
For
this is good and acceptable
in the sight of God our Saviour;
This is good and pleasing
in the sight of God our Savior,
Who will
have
all
men
to be saved ,
and to come unto
the knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus ;

Who gave himself a ransom for all ,
to
be
testified

due

Whereunto
I am
ordained
a preacher, and
an apostle, (I
speak

truth
in
Christ,
and lie
not;)
a teacher of the Gentiles in
faith
and
verity

this
reason
I was
appointed
as
a preacher, an apostle, and a faithful
and
true
teacher of the Gentiles. I
am
telling
the
truth;
I
am
not
lying
about
anything.
I
will
therefore that
men pray every
where
, lifting up holy hands, without wrath
and
doubting
.
Therefore I
want
the
men everywhere
to
pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger
or
dissension
.
In
like
manner
also
, that
women adorn themselves in
modest
apparel, with shamefacedness
and sobriety;
not with broided
hair ,
or gold ,
or pearls ,
or costly
array;
Likewise
, I
want
the
women to
adorn themselves with
respectable
apparel, with modesty,
and with
self-control,
not with braided
hair or gold or pearls or expensive
clothes,
But (which
becometh
women
professing
godliness)
with good works
.
but with good deeds,
as
is
proper
for
women
who
profess
to
worship
God
.
Let
the
woman learn in silence
with
all
subjection
.
A
woman must
learn in quietness
and
full
submissiveness
.
But
I suffer
not a woman to teach ,
nor
to usurp
authority over the
man ,
but
to be
in
silence
.
I do
not permit
a woman to teach or
to exercise
authority over a
man ;
she
is
to remain
quiet
.
For Adam was first
formed, then Eve.
For Adam was formed first
, and
then Eve.
And Adam
was not deceived, but the woman being
deceived
was in
the
transgression.
And it
was not Adam
who
was
deceived, but the woman who
was deceived
and
fell
into
transgression.
Notwithstanding
she
shall
be saved in
childbearing, if they continue in faith and
charity
and holiness with sobriety
.
Women,
however,
will
be saved through
childbearing, if they continue in faith ,
love,
and holiness ,
with self-control
.
