1 Chronicles 11:25

Behold, he was honorable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.

Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn't attain to the [first] three: and David set him over his guard.

Of the thirty, lo, he `is' honoured, and unto the `first' three he hath not come, and David setteth him over his guard.

He was most honored among the Thirty, but he did not become one of the Three. And David appointed him over his guard.
