Berean Standard Bible
How beautiful are thy
feet with
shoes
, O prince's
daughter! the joints
of thy
thighs are like jewels, the work
of
the
hands
of a cunning
workman
.
How beautiful are your
sandaled
feet, O daughter of
the
prince
! The curves
of your
thighs are like jewels, the handiwork
of a master
.
Thy
navel is like
a round
goblet ,
which
wanteth
not
liquor:
thy
belly
is like
an
heap
of wheat set
about
with
lilies.
Your
navel is a rounded
goblet ;
it
never
lacks
blended
wine.
Your
waist
is a
mound
of wheat encircled
by
the
lilies.
Thy
two
breasts are like two young
roes
that
are
twins.
Your
breasts are like two fawns,
twins of
a
gazelle
.
Thy
neck is as
a tower of ivory; thine
eyes like the fishpools
in
Heshbon ,
by the gate of Bathrabbim:
thy
nose is as
the tower of Lebanon which
looketh
toward Damascus.
Your
neck is like
a tower made
of ivory; your
eyes are
like the pools
of
Heshbon by the gate of Bath-rabbim;
your
nose is like
the tower of Lebanon ,
facing
toward Damascus.
Thine
head upon
thee
is
like Carmel, and
the hair of thine
head like purple; the king is held
in the
galleries
.
Your
head crowns
you
like Mount
Carmel, the hair of your
head like purple threads
; the king is captured
in your
tresses
.
How fair and how
pleasant art
thou
, O love, for
delights!
How fair and pleasant you
are
, O love, with
your
delights!
This
thy
stature is like to
a palm tree ,
and
thy
breasts to
clusters of grapes
.
Your
stature is like a palm tree ;
your
breasts are
clusters of fruit
.
I said, I will go
up
to
the palm tree ,
I will take hold of the
boughs
thereof:
now
also
thy
breasts shall
be as
clusters of the vine, and
the smell
of thy
nose
like apples ;
I said, “
I will climb
the palm tree ;
I will take hold of its
fruit.”
May
your
breasts be like
clusters of the vine, the fragrance
of your
breath
like apples ,
And the
roof
of
thy
mouth like the best
wine for
my beloved, that
goeth
down
sweetly,
causing
the
lips of
those
that
are
asleep
to
speak
.
and your
mouth like the finest
wine .
May
it
flow
smoothly
to
my beloved, gliding
gently
over
lips and
teeth
.
I am
my beloved's
, and his desire is toward
me.
I belong
to
my beloved
, and his desire is for
me.
Come, my beloved, let us go forth
into
the field
; let us lodge
in
the villages
.
Come, my beloved, let us go to
the countryside
; let us spend
the night
among
the
wildflowers
.
Let us get
up
early to the vineyards ;
let
us
see if the vine flourish
, whether
the tender
grape
appear
, and
the pomegranates bud
forth:
there will
I give thee
my loves
.
Let us go
early to the vineyards to
see if the vine has
budded
, if
the blossom
has
opened
, if
the pomegranates are
in
bloom—
there I will
give you
my love
.
The mandrakes give
a smell
, and at our gates
are
all
manner
of
pleasant
fruits
, new and
old, which
I have laid
up for thee
, O
my beloved.
The mandrakes send
forth
a fragrance
, and at our door
is
every
delicacy
, new as
well
as
old, that
I have treasured
up for you
, my beloved.
