Him
that
is weak in the
faith receive
ye
, but not to
doubtful
disputations
.
Now
receive
one
who
is weak in faith, but not for
disputes
over
opinions
.
For
one believeth
that
he
may
eat all things :
another
, who is weak ,
eateth
herbs
.
One man
has
faith
to
eat all things, but
he
who is weak eats
only
vegetables
.
Let not
him that
eateth
despise him that
eateth
not;
and
let not
him which
eateth
not
judge him that
eateth:
for God hath
received him.
Don't
let him who
eats
despise him who
doesn't
eat.
Don't
let him who
doesn't
eat
judge him who
eats,
for God has
received him.
Who art
thou
that
judgest
another
man's
servant? to his own master
he standeth
or falleth
. Yea
, he shall
be holden
up:
for God is
able
to make him stand.
Who are
you
who
judge
another's
servant? To his own lord
he stands
or falls
. Yes
, he will
be made
to
stand,
for God has
power
to make him stand.
One man esteemeth
one day above
another:
another esteemeth
every day alike. Let every
man be fully persuaded
in his own mind.
One man esteems
one day as
more
important.
Another esteems
every day alike. Let each
man be fully assured
in his own mind.
He that
regardeth
the day, regardeth
it unto
the Lord; and he that
regardeth
not the day, to the Lord he doth
not regard
it. He that
eateth
, eateth
to the Lord, for he giveth
God thanks ;
and
he that
eateth
not
, to the Lord he eateth
not
, and giveth
God thanks.
He who
observes
the day, observes
it to
the Lord; and he who
does
not observe
the day, to the Lord he does
not observe
it. He who
eats
, eats
to the Lord, for he gives
God thanks .
He who
doesn't
eat
, to the Lord he doesn't
eat
, and gives
God thanks.
For none of us liveth
to himself, and no
man
dieth
to himself.
For none of us lives
to himself, and none
dies
to himself.
For whether
we live, we live unto
the Lord ;
and
whether
we die, we die unto
the Lord :
whether
we live therefore,
or die, we are the Lord's.
For if
we live, we live to
the Lord .
Or
if
we die, we die to
the Lord .
If
therefore
we live or die, we are the Lord's.
For to this end Christ both
died, and
rose, and revived
, that he might be Lord both
of the dead and living.
For to this end Christ died, rose, and lived
again
, that he might be Lord of both
the dead and the
living.
But why dost
thou
judge thy
brother? or why dost
thou
set
at
nought
thy
brother? for we shall
all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
But you,
why do
you
judge your
brother? Or you
again,
why do
you
despise
your
brother? For we will
all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For it is written, As I live, saith
the Lord, every knee shall
bow to
me,
and
every tongue shall
confess to God.
For it is written, "'
As I live, '
says
the Lord, 'to
me
every knee will
bow .
Every tongue will
confess to God. '"
So then every
one of us shall
give account of himself to God.
So then each
one of us will
give account of himself to God.
Let
us
not
therefore judge one another any more :
but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock
or
an
occasion
to
fall
in his brother's way.
Therefore let's
not
judge one another any more ,
but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling
block
in his brother's way ,
or
an
occasion
for
falling
.
I know, and am persuaded by
the Lord Jesus, that there
is
nothing unclean of itself :
but
to him that
esteemeth
any
thing
to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
I know, and am persuaded in
the Lord Jesus, that nothing is
unclean of itself ;
except
that
to him who
considers
anything
to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
But
if thy
brother be
grieved with
thy
meat
, now
walkest
thou
not
charitably
. Destroy not
him
with thy
meat,
for whom Christ died.
Yet
if because
of
food
your
brother is
grieved, you
walk
no
longer
in
love
. Don't
destroy with your
food
him
for whom Christ died.
Let
not
then your good be evil
spoken
of:
Then don't
let
your good be slandered,
For the kingdom of God is not meat
and drink;
but righteousness, and
peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost
.
for the Kingdom of God is not eating
and drinking,
but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit
.
For he that
in these things serveth
Christ
is acceptable to God ,
and approved of
men.
For he who
serves
Christ
in these things is acceptable to God and approved by
men.
Let us therefore
follow after the
things which make for peace, and things wherewith
one
may edify
another.
So
then,
let us follow after things which make for peace, and things by
which
we
may build
one
another up
.
For
meat
destroy
not
the
work of
God
. All things indeed are pure;
but
it is evil for that man who eateth
with
offence
.
Don't
overthrow
God's
work for
food's
sake
. All things indeed are clean,
however
it is evil for that man who creates
a
stumbling
block
by
eating
.
It is good neither
to eat flesh
, nor
to
drink wine, nor any
thing
whereby
thy
brother stumbleth
, or
is offended, or is made weak.
It is good to not
eat meat
, drink wine, nor do
anything
by
which
your
brother stumbles
, is offended, or is made weak.
Hast
thou
faith? have it to thyself
before God. Happy is he that
condemneth
not
himself in that thing
which he alloweth
.
Do
you
have
faith? Have it to yourself
before God. Happy is he who
doesn't
judge
himself in that which he approves
.
And
he that
doubteth
is damned
if he eat
, because he
eateth
not
of faith :
for
whatsoever
is not of faith is sin.
But
he who
doubts
is condemned
if he eats
, because it
isn't
of faith ;
and
whatever
is not of faith is sin. (14:24)
Now
to
him
who
is
able
to
establish
you
according
to
my
Gospel
and
the
preaching
of
Jesus
Christ,
according
to
the
revelation
of
the
mystery
which
has
been
kept
secret
through
long
ages,
(14:25)
but
now
is
revealed,
and
by
the
Scriptures
of
the
prophets,
according
to
the
commandment
of
the
eternal
God,
is
made
known
for
obedience
of
faith
to
all
the
nations;
(14:26)
to
the
only
wise
God,
through
Jesus
Christ,
to
whom
be
the
glory
forever!
Amen.
