I call
upon
you ,
therefore, brethren, through
the compassions
of God, to
present your bodies a sacrifice
--
living, sanctified
, acceptable to
God --
your intelligent
service ;
I beseech
you therefore, brethren, by
the mercies
of God, that
ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice
, holy
, acceptable unto
God ,
which
is
your reasonable
service .
and be not conformed to this age,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for
your
proving
what `
is '
the
will
of
God
--
the
good, and acceptable, and perfect.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that
ye
may
prove
what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect ,
will
of
God
.
For I say, through the grace that
was
given to
me, to every one
who
is among you, not to think above
what
it
behoveth
to think; but to think so
as
to
think
wisely
, as to
each
God did
deal
a
measure of faith ,
For I say, through the grace given unto
me, to every man
that
is among you, not to think of
himself
more
highly
than
he
ought
to think; but to think soberly
, according
as God hath
dealt
to
every
man
the
measure of faith .
for as in
one
body
we have many members, and all the
members have not the same office ,
For as we have many members in
one
body
, and all members have not the same office :
so we, the
many, one body are
in Christ, and members each
one of one
another.
So we, being
many, are
one body in Christ, and every
one
members one of another.
And
having gifts ,
different
according to the grace that was
given to us ;
whether prophecy --
`
According to the proportion of faith !'
Having then
gifts differing
according to the grace that is
given to us ,
whether prophecy ,
let
us
prophesy
according to the proportion of faith ;
or ministration
--
`In
the
ministration!'
or he who
is
teaching
--
`In
the
teaching !'
Or ministry,
let
us
wait
on
our
ministering:
or he that
teacheth,
on
teaching ;
or he who
is
exhorting
--
`In
the
exhortation !'
he who
is
sharing
--
`In
simplicity !'
he who
is
leading
--
`In
diligence ?'
he who
is
doing
kindness
--
`In
cheerfulness. '
Or he that
exhorteth,
on
exhortation :
he that
giveth,
let
him
do
it
with
simplicity ;
he that
ruleth,
with
diligence ;
he that
sheweth
mercy,
with
cheerfulness.
The
love unfeigned:
abhorring
the
evil; cleaving
to the
good ;
Let
love be
without
dissimulation.
Abhor
that
which
is
evil; cleave
to that
which
is
good .
in
the
love
of
brethren,
to
one
another
kindly affectioned :
in the
honour going
before
one another;
Be
kindly affectioned one
to
another
with
brotherly
love;
in honour preferring
one another;
in
the
diligence
not slothful; in the
spirit fervent
; the Lord serving
;
Not slothful in
business
; fervent
in spirit; serving
the Lord;
in the
hope rejoicing
; in the
tribulation enduring
; in the
prayer persevering
;
Rejoicing
in hope; patient
in tribulation; continuing
instant
in prayer;
to the necessities
of the
saints communicating
; the
hospitality pursuing
.
Distributing
to the necessity
of saints; given
to
hospitality.
Bless those
persecuting
you ;
bless, and curse not ;
Bless them
which
persecute
you :
bless, and curse not .
to
rejoice with the
rejoicing
, and to
weep with the
weeping,
Rejoice with them
that
do
rejoice
, and weep with them
that
weep.
of the same mind one toward another ,
not minding
the
high things, but with
the
lowly
going
along;
become
not wise in your own conceit;
Be
of the same mind one toward another .
Mind
not high things, but condescend
to
men
of
low
estate.
Be
not wise in your own conceits.
giving
back
to no one
evil for evil ;
providing
right
things before
all men.
Recompense
to no man
evil for evil .
Provide
things honest
in
the
sight
of
all men.
If possible --
so
far
as in you --
with all men being
in
peace;
If it
be
possible ,
as much
as
lieth
in you ,
live
peaceably
with all men .
not avenging
yourselves, beloved,
but give place to
the
wrath ,
for it hath
been
written, `
Vengeance `
is '
Mine,
Dearly
beloved,
avenge
not yourselves, but rather
give place unto
wrath :
for it is
written, Vengeance is mine ;
I
will
repay
, saith
the
Lord.
I
will
recompense
again,
saith
the
Lord;'
if ,
then,
thine enemy doth
hunger, feed him; if he doth
thirst, give him drink ;
for this
doing ,
coals
of
fire
thou shalt heap upon
his head ;
Therefore
if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink :
for in
so
doing thou shalt heap coals
of
fire
on
his head .
Be not overcome by
the
evil, but overcome ,
in
the
good,
the
evil.
Be not overcome of
evil, but overcome evil with
good
.
