Therefore
I urge
you, brothers
, on
account
of God’s
mercy
, to offer
your bodies as
living sacrifices
, holy and
pleasing
to God, which is your spiritual service of
worship
.
I beseech
you therefore
, brethren
, by
the
mercies
of God
, to present
your bodies a
living sacrifice
, holy ,
acceptable
to God, `
which is '
your spiritual service.
Do
not
be conformed
to this world ,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind .
Then
you
will
be
able
to
test
and approve
what is the good ,
pleasing,
and perfect will of God.
And
be not
fashioned
according
to this world :
but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind ,
and ye
may
prove
what is the good and acceptable
and
perfect will of God.
For by
the grace given me I
say
to every one
of
you :
Do
not think of yourself
more highly than you
ought ,
but think of
yourself
with
sober
judgment
, according to the
measure of faith God
has
given
you
.
For I
say,
through
the grace that
was
given me ,
to every man
that
is
among
you ,
not to
think of himself
more highly than he
ought to
think;
but to
think as
to
think
soberly
, according as
God
hath
dealt
to each
man
a
measure of faith.
Just
as each
of
us
has
one
body
with
many members, and not
all members have the same function,
For
even
as we
have
many members in
one
body
, and all the
members have not
the same office:
so in
Christ
we who are many are one body, and each
member
belongs
to
one another.
so we ,
who are many ,
are one body in
Christ
, and severally
members
one of
another.
We
have
different
gifts according to the grace given us .
If
one’s
gift
is
prophecy, let him
use
it
in
proportion
to his
faith;
And
having
gifts differing
according to the grace that
was
given to
us ,
whether
prophecy, `
let us
prophesy'
according
to the
proportion
of
our
faith;
if
it
is
serving
, let him
serve
; if
it
is
teaching
, let
him
teach
;
or
ministry
, `
let us
give
ourselves'
to
our
ministry
; or
he
that
teacheth
, to
his
teaching
;
if
it
is
encouraging
, let
him
encourage;
if
it
is
giving
, let him give
generously;
if
it is
leading
, let
him
lead
with diligence; if
it
is
showing
mercy, let
him
do
it
cheerfully
.
or
he
that
exhorteth
, to
his
exhorting:
he
that
giveth
, `
let him do
it '
with
liberality;
he
that
ruleth
, with diligence; he
that
showeth
mercy, with
cheerfulness
.
Love must
be sincere
. Detest
what
is evil; cling
to what
is good.
Let
love be without
hypocrisy
. Abhor
that
which
is evil; cleave
to that
which
is good.
Be devoted
to
one another in
brotherly
love.
Outdo
yourselves
in honoring
one another .
In
love
of
the
brethren
be tenderly
affectioned
one to
another ;
in honor
preferring
one another ;
Do
not let
your
zeal
subside
; keep
your
spiritual
fervor,
serving the Lord .
in
diligence
not slothful
; fervent
in
spirit;
serving the Lord ;
Be
joyful
in hope ,
patient in affliction,
persistent
in prayer .
rejoicing
in hope ;
patient in tribulation;
continuing
stedfastly
in prayer ;
Share
with
the saints who
are
in
need.
Practice
hospitality.
communicating
to
the necessities
of
the
saints ;
given
to
hospitality.
Bless those
who
persecute you .
Bless and do
not
curse.
Bless them
that
persecute you ;
bless ,
and curse not
.
Rejoice with those
who
rejoice; weep with those
who
weep.
Rejoice with them
that
rejoice; weep with them
that
weep.
Live
in
harmony
with
one another. Do
not be
proud
, but enjoy
the
company
of
the
lowly. Do
not
be conceited
.
Be
of
the
same
mind
one toward
another. Set
not your
mind
on
high
things
, but condescend
to
things
that
are
lowly. Be not
wise
in
your
own
conceits
.
Do
not
repay
anyone
evil for evil. Carefully
consider
what
is
right
in the eyes
of everybody
.
Render
to
no
man
evil for evil. Take
thought
for
things
honorable
in the sight
of all
men
.
If it is
possible on
your
part
, live
at peace with everyone
.
If it be
possible, as
much
as
in
you
lieth,
be
at peace with all
men
.
Do
not
avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave
room
for
God’s
wrath .
For it is written :
“
Vengeance is
Mine
; I will repay
, says
the Lord. ”
Avenge not
yourselves, beloved, but give
place
unto
the
wrath `of
God':
for it is written ,
Vengeance belongeth
unto
me
; I will recompense
, saith
the Lord.
On
the
contrary,
“
If your
enemy is
hungry
, feed him; if he is
thirsty
, give him a
drink .
For in so doing ,
you
will
heap burning
coals on
his head. ”
But
if thine
enemy hunger
, feed him; if he thirst
, give him to
drink :
for in so doing thou
shalt
heap coals of
fire
upon
his head.
Do
not
be overcome by
evil, but overcome evil with good.
Be not
overcome of
evil, but overcome evil with good.
