And
when he
opened the seventh seal, there followed
a
silence in heaven about the
space
of
half an hour.
When the
Lamb
opened the seventh seal, there was
silence in heaven for
about half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels that
stand before God ;
and there
were given unto
them
seven trumpets.
And I saw the seven angels who
stand before God ,
and they
were given seven trumpets.
And
another angel came
and
stood
over
the
altar
, having
a golden censer ;
and there
was given unto
him
much incense, that
he
should
add
it
unto
the prayers of all the saints upon
the golden altar which
was
before the throne.
Then
another angel, who
had
a golden censer ,
came
and stood
at
the
altar.
He
was given much incense to
offer
, along
with
the prayers of all the saints ,
on
the golden altar before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went
up before God out
of
the angel's
hand.
And the smoke of the incense, together
with the prayers of the saints, rose
up before God from
the hand of
the
angel
.
And
the angel taketh
the censer ;
and
he
filled it with the
fire of
the altar, and cast
it upon
the earth :
and there followed
thunders
, and voices
, and lightnings
, and an earthquake.
Then
the angel took
the censer ,
filled it with fire from
the altar, and hurled
it to
the earth ;
and there were
peals
of
thunder
, and rumblings
, and flashes
of
lightning
, and an earthquake.
And the seven angels that
had
the seven trumpets prepared themselves
to sound.
And the seven angels with
the seven trumpets prepared to sound them
.
And
the first sounded, and there
followed
hail and fire ,
mingled
with blood ,
and
they
were cast
upon the earth :
and
the
third part
of the earth was burnt
up, and
the
third part
of the trees was
burnt
up,
and all green grass was
burnt
up
.
Then
the first angel
sounded his
trumpet
, and hail and fire mixed
with blood were hurled
down
upon the earth .
A
third of the earth was burned
up, along
with
a
third of the trees and all the
green grass.
And
the second angel sounded, and as
it
were
a great mountain burning with fire was cast
into the sea :
and
the
third part
of the sea became
blood ;
Then
the second angel sounded his
trumpet
, and something
like
a great mountain burning with fire was thrown
into the sea .
A
third of the sea turned
to
blood ,
and
there
died
the
third part
of the creatures which
were
in the sea, `even'
they
that
had
life;
and the
third part
of the ships was
destroyed.
a
third of the living
creatures in the sea died
, and a
third of the ships were
destroyed.
And
the third angel sounded, and there
fell
from
heaven
a great star ,
burning as
a torch ,
and
it
fell upon
the
third part
of the rivers ,
and upon
the fountains
of the
waters;
Then
the third angel sounded his
trumpet
, and a great star burning like
a torch fell from
heaven
and
landed
on
a
third of the rivers and on
the springs
of water.
and
the name of the star is called
Wormwood :
and
the
third part
of the waters became
wormwood ;
and many men
died of
the waters,
because
they
were
made
bitter.
The name of the star is Wormwood .
A
third of the waters turned
bitter
like
wormwood oil,
and many people
died from
the bitter waters
.
And
the fourth angel sounded, and the
third part
of the sun was
smitten,
and the
third
part
of
the
moon ,
and the
third part
of the stars ;
that
the
third
part
of
them
should
be
darkened, and
the
day
should
not
shine
for
the
third part
of it
, and the night in
like
manner
.
Then
the fourth angel sounded his
trumpet
, and a
third of the sun and moon and stars
were
struck.
A
third of the stars were
darkened, a
third of the
day
was
without
light
, and a
third
of
the night as
well
.
And I saw
, and
I heard an eagle ,
flying in
mid
heaven
, saying
with
a great
voice, Woe ,
woe ,
woe ,
for
them
that
dwell on the earth, by
reason
of
the
other
voices
of the trumpet of
the three angels ,
who
are
yet
to
sound.
And as
I observed
, I heard an eagle flying overhead
, calling
in
a loud
voice, “
Woe !
Woe !
Woe to
those
who
dwell on the earth, because
of the trumpet blasts
about
to
be
sounded
by
the remaining
three angels !”
