After these
things
I looked and saw
a door opened in heaven ,
and the first voice that
I heard ,
like
a trumpet speaking
with me ,
was
one
saying
, "
Come up here
, and I will show
you
the
things which must happen
after
this
. "
After this
I looked ,
and ,
behold,
a door was
opened in heaven :
and the first voice which
I heard was
as
it
were
of
a trumpet talking
with me ;
which
said
, Come up hither
, and I will shew
thee
things which must be
hereafter
.
Immediately I was in the Spirit .
Behold, there
was
a throne set in heaven, and one sitting
on the throne
And
immediately I was in the spirit :
and,
behold, a throne was
set in heaven, and one sat
on the throne .
that looked
like a jasper stone
and a sardius.
There was a rainbow around
the throne, like an emerald to
look
at
.
And
he
that sat
was
to
look
upon
like a jasper and a sardine
stone:
and
there was a rainbow round
about
the throne, in
sight
like unto
an emerald.
Around
the throne were twenty-
four thrones.
On
the
thrones
were
twenty -
four elders sitting, dressed
in white garments,
with
crowns
of
gold
on their heads.
And
round
about
the throne were four and
twenty seats:
and
upon
the
seats
I
saw
four and
twenty
elders sitting, clothed
in white raiment;
and
they
had
on their heads crowns
of
gold
.
Out of the throne proceed
lightnings ,
sounds,
and thunders.
There were seven lamps of fire burning before his
throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
And
out of the throne proceeded
lightnings and thunderings
and
voices:
and
there were seven lamps of fire burning before the
throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Before the throne was something
like
a sea of glass ,
similar
to
crystal .
In the midst of the throne, and around
the throne were four living
creatures
full of eyes before and behind.
And
before the throne there
was a sea of glass like
unto
crystal :
and
in the midst of the throne, and round
about
the throne ,
were four beasts
full of eyes before and behind.
The first creature
was like a lion, and the second creature
like a calf, and the third creature
had a face like
a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.
And
the first beast
was like a lion, and the second beast
like a calf, and the third beast
had a face as
a man, and the fourth beast
was like a flying eagle.
The four living
creatures,
each one
of them having
six wings ,
are
full of eyes around
about
and
within .
They have
no
rest day and night, saying, "
Holy, holy, holy, holy,
holy,
holy,
holy,
holy,
holy
is
the
Lord God ,
the
Almighty, who
was and who
is and who
is to come !"
And
the four beasts
had
each of them six wings about
him;
and
they
were
full of eyes within :
and
they rest not
day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which
was ,
and is ,
and is to come .
When the
living
creatures
give glory ,
honor,
and thanks to him who
sits
on the throne, to
him
who lives
forever
and ever,
And
when those
beasts
give glory and honour
and
thanks to him that
sat
on the throne, who liveth
for
ever
and ever,
the twenty-
four elders fall down before him who
sits
on the throne, and worship him who
lives
forever
and ever, and throw
their crowns before the throne, saying,
The four and
twenty
elders fall down before him that
sat
on the throne, and worship him that
liveth
for
ever
and ever, and cast
their crowns before the throne, saying,
"
Worthy are
you
, our
Lord and
God
, the
Holy
One,
to receive the
glory ,
the
honor,
and the
power ,
for you
created all things, and because
of
your
desire
they existed,
and were created !"
Thou
art
worthy, O
Lord, to receive glory and honour
and
power :
for thou
hast
created all things, and for
thy
pleasure
they are
and were created .
