After these
things
I looked and saw a door opened
in heaven ,
and the first
voice that
I heard ,
like a trumpet speaking
with
me,
was one
saying, "
Come up here, and I will show you the
things
which
must happen after this
. "
After this
I looked and saw a door standing
open
in heaven .
And the voice I had
previously
heard speak
to
me
like a trumpet was saying, “
Come up here, and I will show you what
must happen after these
things
. ”
Immediately
I was in the Spirit .
Behold
, there
was
a throne set
in heaven, and
one
sitting
on the
throne
At
once
I was in the Spirit, and
I
saw
a throne standing
in heaven, with
someone
seated
on it.
that
looked like a
jasper stone
and a
sardius.
There
was
a rainbow around
the
throne,
like an emerald to
look
at
.
The
One
seated
there
looked like jasper and carnelian,
and
a rainbow that
gleamed
like an emerald encircled
the
throne
.
Around
the throne were twenty-four thrones .
On the
thrones were
twenty-four elders sitting,
dressed in white garments
, with crowns of
gold
on their heads.
Surrounding
the throne were twenty-four other
thrones ,
and
on these
thrones sat
twenty-four elders dressed in white, with golden
crowns on their heads.
Out
of
the throne proceed
lightnings
, sounds
, and thunders
. There
were
seven lamps
of fire burning
before
his
throne,
which
are the seven Spirits of God.
From
the throne came
flashes
of
lightning
, and
rumblings
, and peals
of
thunder
. Before
the
throne
burned
seven torches
of fire .
These
are the seven Spirits of God.
Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar
to
crystal. In the midst
of
the
throne
, and
around the throne were four living creatures full
of
eyes before
and behind
.
And
before the throne was something like a sea of glass, as
clear
as
crystal. In the center
, around the throne ,
were four living creatures ,
covered
with
eyes in
front
and back
.
The first creature was like a lion, and
the second creature
like a calf, and
the third creature
had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a
flying
eagle.
The first living
creature was like a lion, the second like a calf, the third had a face like a man, and the fourth was like an
eagle in
flight
.
The four living creatures ,
each
one
of
them
having
six wings ,
are
full
of
eyes around about
and within. They
have
no
rest
day and night ,
saying ,
"Holy,
holy,
holy,
holy,
holy,
holy, holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God ,
the
Almighty, who was and who
is and who
is to come! "
And
each
of
the four living creatures had
six wings and
was
covered
with
eyes all
around and within. Day and night they
never
stop
saying :
“
Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come! ”
When
the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him
who
sits
on the throne ,
to
him
who lives forever and ever,
And
whenever
the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the
One
seated
on the throne who lives forever and ever,
the twenty-four elders fall down before him
who
sits
on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever ,
and
throw
their crowns before the throne, saying ,
the twenty-four elders fall down before the
One
seated
on the throne, and they
worship Him who lives forever and ever .
They
cast
their crowns before the throne, saying :
"
Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the
Holy
One,
to receive the
glory ,
the
honor ,
and the
power, for you created all things ,
and
because
of
your desire
they existed,
and were
created!"
“
Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and
honor and power, for You created all things ;
by
Your will
they exist
and came
to
be.”
