King James Version
Then
I looked and saw
the
Lamb standing
on Mount Zion
, and with Him 144,000
who
had
His
name
and His Father’s
name written on
their foreheads.
And
I looked ,
and ,
lo,
a
Lamb stood
on the
mount Sion
, and with him an
hundred
forty
and four
thousand,
having
his Father's
name written in
their foreheads.
And I heard a sound
from heaven like
the roar
of many waters and the loud
rumbling
of thunder .
And the
sound
I heard was
like
harpists
strumming
their harps .
And I heard a voice
from heaven ,
as
the voice
of many waters ,
and as
the voice
of a
great
thunder :
and I heard the
voice
of
harpers
harping
with
their harps :
And they sang
a new song before the throne and before the four living
creatures
and the elders .
And no one
could learn the
song except
the 144
, 000
who
had
been
redeemed from the earth.
And they sung
as
it
were
a new song before the throne ,
and before the four beasts,
and the elders :
and no man
could learn that
song but
the hundred
and
forty
and
four
thousand
, which
were
redeemed from the earth.
These are the
ones
who
have
not been
defiled with women ,
for they are virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever
He goes
. They
have
been
redeemed from among men as
firstfruits to
God and to the Lamb.
These are they
which
were
not defiled with women ;
for they are virgins. These
are
they which
follow the Lamb whithersoever
he goeth
. These
were
redeemed from among men ,
being
the
firstfruits unto
God and to the Lamb.
And no
lie
was
found
in their mouths;
they are blameless
.
And in their mouth
was
found
no
guile:
for
they are without
fault
before
the
throne
of
God
.
Then
I saw another angel flying
overhead
, with
the eternal
gospel to proclaim
to
those
who
dwell on the earth —
to every nation and tribe
and tongue and people .
And
I saw another angel fly
in
the
midst
of
heaven
, having
the everlasting
gospel to preach
unto
them
that
dwell on the earth ,
and
to every nation ,
and kindred,
and tongue ,
and people ,
And
he
said
in
a loud voice, “
Fear God and give Him
glory ,
because
the hour of His judgment has
come .
Worship the
One
who
made the
heavens
and the
earth and the sea and the springs
of waters. ”
Saying
with
a loud voice, Fear God ,
and give glory to
him;
for
the hour of his judgment is
come :
and
worship him
that
made heaven,
and earth ,
and the sea ,
and the fountains
of waters.
Then
a
second
angel
followed, saying, “
Fallen, fallen
is Babylon
the
great, who
has
made all the
nations drink the wine of the passion
of her immorality
. ”
And
there
followed another
angel
, saying, Babylon
is
fallen, is fallen,
that
great city
, because
she
made all nations drink of
the wine of the wrath
of her fornication
.
And a
third angel followed them, calling
out
in
a loud voice, “
If anyone
worships
the beast and its
image, and receives
its
mark on
his forehead or on
his hand,
And the
third angel followed them, saying
with
a loud voice, If any
man
worship
the beast and his
image, and receive
his
mark in
his forehead ,
or in
his hand,
he
too
will
drink the wine of God’s
anger
, poured undiluted
into the cup of His wrath.
And he will
be tormented in
fire and sulfur
in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb .
The
same
shall
drink of
the wine of the
wrath
of
God
, which
is
poured out
without
mixture
into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall
be tormented with
fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels ,
and in
the
presence
of the Lamb :
And the smoke of their torment rises
forever
and ever .
Day
and night
there
is
no rest for
those
who worship the beast and its
image, or
for
anyone
who
receives
the mark of its
name. ”
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth
up
for
ever
and ever :
and they
have
no rest day
nor
night,
who worship the beast and his
image, and
whosoever
receiveth
the mark of his
name.
Here is a
call
for
the perseverance
of the saints who
keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Here is the patience
of the saints :
here
are
they
that
keep the commandments of God ,
and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven telling
me to
write, “
Blessed are the dead —those
who
die in the Lord from this
moment
on.”
“Yes
, ”
says
the Spirit, “
they will
rest from their labors,
for
their deeds
will
follow them. ”
And I heard a voice from heaven saying
unto
me ,
Write, Blessed are the dead which
die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea
, saith
the Spirit, that
they may
rest from their labours;
and
their works
do
follow them.
And I looked and saw
a white cloud, and seated
on
the cloud was
One like the Son of Man, with
a
golden
crown
on His head and
a sharp
sickle
in His hand.
And I looked ,
and behold
a white cloud, and upon
the cloud one sat
like unto
the Son of man, having
on his head a golden
crown,
and
in his hand a
sharp
sickle
.
Then
another angel came out of the temple, crying out
in
a loud voice to the
One
seated
on the cloud, “Swing
Your
sickle and reap ,
because
the time has
come to harvest
; for the crop
of the earth is ripe. ”
And
another angel came out of the temple, crying with
a loud voice to him
that
sat
on the cloud, Thrust
in
thy
sickle ,
and reap :
for
the time is
come for
thee
to reap
; for the harvest
of the earth is ripe.
So
the
One
seated
on the cloud swung
His sickle over
the earth ,
and the earth was harvested
.
And
he
that
sat
on the cloud thrust
in
his sickle on
the earth ;
and the earth was reaped
.
Then
another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and
he too
had
a sharp sickle.
And
another angel came out of the temple which
is
in heaven, he also
having
a sharp sickle.
Still
another angel ,
with
authority
over
the
fire,
came from the altar and called
out
in
a loud voice
to the
angel
with
the sharp sickle, “Swing
your
sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes
from
the vine of the earth ,
because
its
grapes are ripe. ”
And
another angel came out
from the altar ,
which
had
power
over
fire;
and cried
with
a loud cry
to him
that
had
the sharp sickle, saying,
Thrust
in
thy
sharp sickle ,
and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth ;
for
her
grapes are fully
ripe.
So
the angel swung
his sickle over
the earth and gathered the grapes
of the earth, and he
threw
them
into the great winepress of God’s
wrath.
And
the angel thrust
in
his sickle into
the earth ,
and gathered the vine
of the earth, and cast
it
into the great winepress of the
wrath of
God
.
And the winepress was trodden outside
the city, and the
blood that
flowed
from
it
rose
as
high
as
the bridles of
the horses
for
a
distance
of 1,600
stadia
.
And the winepress was trodden without
the city, and blood came
out
of
the winepress,
even
unto
the
horse
bridles ,
by
the space
of a
thousand
and
six
hundred
furlongs
.
