And
I saw,
and behold,
the Lamb standing on the
mount Zion, and with him a
hundred
and
forty
and
four
thousand
, having
his name ,
and the
name
of
his Father,
written on their foreheads.
Then
I looked
and saw
the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144
, 000
who
had
His name and His Father’s
name
written on their foreheads.
And I heard a voice
from heaven ,
as
the voice
of many waters ,
and as
the voice
of a
great
thunder :
and the voice
which
I heard `
was '
as
`the
voice'
of
harpers
harping
with
their harps :
And I heard a sound
from heaven like
the roar
of many waters and the loud
rumbling
of thunder .
And the sound
I heard was like
harpists
strumming
their harps .
and they sing
as
it
were
a new song before the throne ,
and before the four living creatures and the elders :
and no man
could learn the song save
the hundred
and
forty
and
four
thousand
, `even'
they
that
had been purchased
out
of
the earth.
And they sang
a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders .
And no one
could learn the song except
the 144
, 000
who
had been redeemed
from
the earth.
These are they
that
were
not defiled with women ;
for they are virgins. These
`are'
they that
follow the Lamb whithersoever
he goeth
. These
were
purchased
from among men ,
`to
be'
the
firstfruits unto
God and unto
the Lamb.
These are the
ones
who
have
not been
defiled with women ,
for they are virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever
He goes
. They
have
been
redeemed
from among men as
firstfruits to
God and to
the Lamb.
And in
their
mouth
was
found
no lie :
they are without
blemish
.
And no lie was
found
in
their
mouths;
they are blameless
.
And
I saw another angel flying in
mid
heaven
, having
eternal good
tidings
to proclaim unto
them
that
dwell on the earth ,
and
unto
every nation and tribe and tongue and people ;
Then
I saw another angel flying overhead
, with
the
eternal gospel
to proclaim to
those
who
dwell on the earth —to
every nation and tribe and tongue and people .
and he saith
with
a great
voice, Fear God ,
and give him glory ;
for
the hour of his judgment is
come :
and
worship him
that
made the heaven
and the earth and sea and fountains
of waters.
And he said
in
a loud
voice, “
Fear God and give Him glory ,
because
the hour of His judgment has
come .
Worship the
One
who
made the heavens
and the earth and the
sea and the
springs
of waters. ”
And
another,
a second angel ,
followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that
hath
made all the nations to
drink of
the wine of the wrath
of her fornication
.
Then
a second angel followed, saying, “
Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who
has
made all the nations drink the wine of the passion
of her immorality
. ”
And another
angel,
a third ,
followed them, saying
with
a great
voice, If any
man
worshippeth
the beast and his
image, and receiveth
a
mark on his forehead ,
or upon
his hand,
And a third angel
followed them, calling
out
in
a loud
voice, “
If anyone
worships
the beast and its
image, and receives
its
mark on his forehead or on
his hand,
he also
shall
drink of
the wine of the
wrath
of
God
, which
is
prepared
unmixed
in
the cup of his anger;
and he shall
be tormented with
fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels ,
and in
the
presence
of the Lamb :
he too
will
drink the wine of God’s
anger
, poured
undiluted
into
the cup of His wrath.
And he will
be tormented in
fire and sulfur
in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb .
and the smoke of their torment goeth
up
for
ever
and ever ;
and
they
have
no
rest
day and night ,
they
that
worship the beast and his
image, and
whoso
receiveth
the mark of his
name.
And the smoke of their torment rises
forever
and ever .
Day and night there
is
no
rest
for
those
who
worship the beast and its
image, or
for
anyone
who
receives
the mark of its
name. ”
Here is the patience
of the saints ,
they
that
keep the commandments of God ,
and the faith of Jesus.
Here is a
call
for
the perseverance
of the saints who
keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard the
voice from heaven saying,
Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth:
yea
, saith
the Spirit, that
they may
rest from their labors ;
for their works
follow with
them.
And I heard a
voice from heaven telling
me
to
write, “
Blessed are the dead —those
who die in the Lord from this
moment
on.”
“Yes
, ”
says
the Spirit, “
they will
rest from their labors ,
for their deeds
will
follow them. ”
And I saw,
and behold,
a white cloud ;
and on the cloud `I
saw'
one sitting
like unto
a
son of man, having
on
his
head
a golden crown ,
and in his hand sharp
sickle
.
And I looked
and saw
a white cloud ,
and seated
on the cloud was
One like the
Son of Man, with
a golden crown on
His
head
and a
sharp
sickle
in His hand.
And
another angel came out from
the temple, crying with
a great
voice to him
that
sat
on the cloud, Send
forth
thy
sickle ,
and reap :
for
the hour
to
reap
is
come; for the harvest
of the earth is ripe.
Then
another angel came out of
the temple, crying out
in
a loud
voice to the
One
seated
on the cloud, “Swing
Your
sickle and reap ,
because
the time
has
come to
harvest
; for the crop
of the earth is ripe. ”
And
he
that
sat
on the cloud cast
his sickle upon
the earth ;
and the earth was reaped
.
So
the
One
seated
on the cloud swung
His sickle over
the earth ,
and the earth was harvested
.
Another angel came out from
the temple which
is
in heaven, he also
having
a sharp sickle.
Then
another angel came out of
the temple in heaven, and
he too
had
a sharp sickle.
And
another angel came out
from the altar ,
he
that
hath
power
over
fire;
and he
called with
a great
voice to him
that
had
the sharp sickle, saying,
Send
forth
thy
sharp sickle ,
and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth ;
for
her
grapes are fully
ripe.
Still
another angel ,
with
authority
over
the
fire,
came from the altar and called out
in
a loud
voice to the angel
with
the
sharp sickle, “Swing
your
sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes
from
the vine of the earth ,
because
its
grapes are ripe. ”
And
the angel cast
his sickle into
the earth ,
and gathered the vintage
of the earth, and cast
it
into the winepress,
the
great `
winepress ',
of the
wrath of
God
.
So
the angel swung
his sickle over
the earth and gathered the grapes
of the earth, and he
threw
them
into the great winepress of God’s
wrath.
And the winepress are
trodden without
the city, and there
came
out
blood from the
winepress,
even
unto
the bridles of the horses ,
as
far
as
a thousand
and
six
hundred
furlongs
.
And the winepress was
trodden outside
the city, and the
blood that
flowed
from it
rose
as
high
as
the bridles of the horses for
a distance
of
1,600
stadia
.
