ear,
Leading
Joseph as
a flock ,
Inhabiting
the cherubs

shine forth ,
For
the choirmaster
. To
the tune
of
“The
Lilies of the
Covenant
. ”
A Psalm of
Asaph
. Hear
us,
O
Shepherd of Israel, who
leads
Joseph like
a flock ;
You
who
sit
enthroned
between
the cherubim,
shine forth
Before Ephraim, and
Benjamin, and Manasseh ,
Wake
up
Thy
might,
and come for
our
salvation
.
before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh .
Rally
Your
mighty
power
and come to
save
us
.
O God, cause
us
to
turn
back,
And cause Thy
face to shine, and
we are
saved.
Restore
us,
O God, and cause Your
face to shine upon
us
, that
we may
be
saved.
Jehovah,
God of Hosts, till
when?
Thou
hast
burned
against the prayer
of Thy
people .
O
LORD
God of Hosts, how
long
will
Your
anger
smolder
against the prayers
of Your
people ?
Thou
hast
caused
them to
eat
bread of tears ,
And causest
them to
drink With
tears a
third
time
.
You
fed
them with
the
bread of tears and made
them drink the
full
measure
of
their
tears.
Thou
makest
us a
strife
to
our neighbors ,
And
our enemies mock at
it
.
You
make
us contend
with
our neighbors ;
our enemies mock us
.
God of Hosts, turn
us
back,
And cause Thy
face to shine, and
we are
saved.
Restore
us,
O
God of Hosts, and cause Your
face to shine upon
us
, that
we may
be
saved.
A vine out
of
Egypt Thou
dost
bring,
Thou
dost
cast
out nations ,
and plantest
it.
You
uprooted
a vine from
Egypt ;
You
drove
out the
nations and transplanted
it.
Thou
hast
looked
before
it, and dost
root
it ,
And it
filleth
the land ,
You
cleared
the
ground
for
it, and it took
root
and filled
the land .
Covered have
been
hills
`with'
its shadow
, And its
boughs
`are'
cedars of
God
.
The
mountains
were
covered by
its shade
, and the
mighty
cedars with
its
branches
.
It sendeth
forth
its branches unto
the sea, And unto
the river its
sucklings
.
It sent
out
its branches to
the Sea, and its
shoots
toward
the River.
Why hast
Thou
broken down its hedges
, And
all passing
by the
way
have
plucked
it
?
Why have
You
broken down its walls
, so
that
all who
pass
by pick
its
fruit
?
A
boar out
of
the forest doth
waste
it, And a
wild
beast
of the fields
consumeth
it.
The
boar from
the forest ravages
it, and the
creatures
of the field
feed
upon
it.
God of Hosts, turn
back,
we beseech
Thee,
Look from heaven ,
and see ,
and
inspect
this vine ,
Return,
O
God of Hosts, we pray!
Look down
from heaven and see !
Attend
to
this vine —
And
the root that
Thy
right hand planted, And
the branch
Thou
madest
strong
for Thee,
the root Your
right hand has
planted, the son
You
have
raised
up
for Yourself.
Burnt
with
fire
--
cut down ,
From
the rebuke of Thy
face
they
perish
.
Your
vine
has
been
cut down and
burned;
they
perish
at
the rebuke of Your
countenance
.
Let Thy
hand be on
the man of
Thy
right hand, On the son of man Thou
hast
strengthened
for Thyself
.
Let Your
hand be upon
the man at
Your
right hand, on the son of man You
have
raised
up
for Yourself
.
And
we do
not go
back
from Thee,
Thou
dost
revive us, and in
Thy
name
we call.
Then
we will
not turn
away
from You;
revive us, and we will
call on
Your
name
.
O
Jehovah
, God of Hosts ,
turn
us
back,
Cause Thy
face to shine, and
we are
saved !
Restore
us
, O
LORD
God of Hosts ;
cause Your
face to shine upon
us

we may

saved .
