In You
, O LORD
, I have
taken
refuge ;
let me never be put to shame.
In thee
, O Jehovah
, do
I take
refuge :
Let me never be put to shame.
In Your
justice
, rescue
and deliver
me ;
incline
Your
ear and save me.
Deliver
me
in thy
righteousness
, and rescue
me :
Bow
down
thine
ear unto
me,
and save me.
Be my
rock of refuge
, where
I can
always
go.
Give
the
command
to save me ,
for You
are
my rock and my fortress.
Be thou
to
me
a
rock of habitation
, whereunto
I may
continually
resort:
Thou
hast
given
commandment
to save me ;
For thou
art
my rock and my fortress.
Deliver
me, O my God, from
the hand of the wicked, from
the grasp
of the unjust
and ruthless
.
Rescue
me, O my God, out
of
the hand of the wicked, Out
of
the hand
of the unrighteous
and cruel
man
.
For You
are
my hope, O Lord GOD,
my confidence
from my youth.
For thou
art
my hope, O Lord Jehovah:
`Thou
art'
my trust
from my youth.
I
have leaned
on
You
since
birth
; You
pulled
me from
my mother’s
womb.
My praise is
always
for
You
.
By
thee
have I
been
holden
up
from
the
womb
; Thou
art
he
that
took
me out
of
my mother's
bowels:
My praise shall
be
continually
of
thee
.
I have
become
a portent
to
many ,
but You
are
my strong refuge.
I am
as
a wonder
unto
many ;
But thou
art
my strong refuge.
My mouth is
filled with Your
praise and with Your
splendor
all day long
.
My mouth shall
be
filled with thy
praise ,
And with thy
honor
all the
day.
Do
not
discard
me in my
old age; do
not
forsake me when my strength fails
.
Cast
me not
off
in the
time
of
old age; Forsake me not
when my strength faileth
.
For my
enemies speak against
me ,
and those
who
lie
in
wait
for my life
conspire
,
For mine
enemies speak concerning
me ;
And they
that
watch
for my soul
take
counsel
together
,
saying, “
God has
forsaken him ;
pursue him
and seize
him ,
for there is no
one
to rescue
him
. ”
Saying, God hath
forsaken him :
Pursue and take
him ;
for there is none
to deliver
.
Be not far from me ,
O
God.
Hurry,
O my God, to help me.
O
God,
be not far from me ;
O my God, make
haste
to help me.
May
the
accusers
of
my
soul
be ashamed
and consumed ;
may
those
who
seek
my harm
be covered with scorn
and disgrace
.
Let
them
be put
to
shame
`
and '
consumed that
are
adversaries
to
my soul;
Let
them
be covered with reproach
and dishonor
that
seek
my
hurt
.
But I will always
hope and will praise You
more and more.
But I will hope continually,
And will praise thee
yet
more and more.
My mouth will
declare
Your
righteousness and Your
salvation all day long,
though
I cannot
know their
full
measure
.
My mouth shall
tell
of
thy
righteousness ,
`
And '
of
thy
salvation all the
day ;
For
I know not
the
numbers
`thereof'
.
I will enter
in
the strength
of the Lord GOD;
I will proclaim
Your
righteousness —Yours
alone
.
I will come
with
the mighty
acts
of the Lord Jehovah:
I will make
mention
of
thy
righteousness ,
even
of
thine
only
.
O God, You
have
taught me from my youth ,
and to
this
day
I proclaim
Your
marvelous
deeds
.
O God, thou
hast
taught me from my youth ;
And hitherto
have
I declared
thy
wondrous
works
.
Even when I am old and gray,
do
not
forsake
me
, O God, until I proclaim
Your
power
to
the next generation, Your
might to all
who
are
to come.
Yea,
even when I am old and grayheaded
, O God, forsake
me
not,
Until I have
declared
thy
strength
unto
`
the next '
generation, Thy
might to every
one
that
is
to come.
Your
righteousness reaches
to
the
heavens
, O God, You
who have
done great things .
Who
, O God, is like You
?
Thy
righteousness also
, O God, is
very
high;
Thou
who hast
done great things, O God, who
is like unto
thee
?
Though
You
have
shown
me
many troubles
and misfortunes
, You
will
revive
me
once
again .
Even
from the depths of the earth You
will
bring
me
back
up
.
Thou,
who
hast
showed
us
many and sore
troubles
, Wilt
quicken
us
again ,
And
wilt
bring
us
up
again
from the depths of the earth.
You
will
increase my honor
and comfort me once
again
.
Increase thou
my greatness,
And turn
again
and
comfort me.
So
I will praise You
with the harp
for
Your
faithfulness
, O my God ;
I
will sing praise
to
You
with the lyre
, O Holy One of Israel.
I will also
praise thee
with the psaltery
, `Even'
thy
truth,
O my God :
Unto
thee
will I
sing praises
with the harp
, O thou
Holy One of Israel.
When
I
sing
praise
to
You
my lips will
shout for joy ,
along
with
my soul, which You
have
redeemed.
My lips shall
shout for joy when
I
sing
praises
unto
thee;
And
my soul, which thou
hast
redeemed.
My tongue will
indeed
proclaim
Your
righteousness all day long, for those
who
seek
my
harm
are disgraced
and
confounded.
My tongue also
shall
talk
of
thy
righteousness all the
day long ;
For
they
are
put
to
shame
, for they
are confounded ,
that
seek
my
hurt
. Psalm
72
`A
Psalm'
of
Solomon.
