In God alone my
soul
finds
rest;
my salvation comes
from Him.

How long will you threaten
a man ?
Will
all of you throw him down like a leaning wall or
a tottering fence?
How long will you assault
a man ,
Would
all of you throw him down ,
Like a leaning wall ,
like
a tottering fence?
They fully intend to cast
him down from his lofty perch;
they delight in lies ;
with
their
mouths
they bless, but inwardly
they curse. Selah

men are but
a vapor

exalted
but
a lie. Weighed
on
the scale,
they go up ;
together
they are but
a vapor

Surely
men of
low
degree
are just
a breath

men
of
high
degree
are
a lie. In
the balances
they will
go up .
They are together
lighter
than
a breath
.
Place
no
trust in extortion,
or
false
hope
in stolen
goods
. If your
riches increase, do
not
set your heart upon
them.
Don't
trust in oppression.
Don't
become
vain
in robbery
. If riches increase, Don't
set your heart on
them.
God has spoken once ;
I have heard this twice:
that power belongs to God ,
God has spoken once ,
Twice
I have heard this ,
That power belongs to God .
and
loving
devotion
to You, O
Lord .
For You will
repay
each
man according to his deeds
.
Also
to you, Lord ,
belongs
loving
kindness,
For you reward
every
man according to his work
.
