For
the choirmaster.
According
to
Mahalath.
A
Maskil
of
David.
The
fool says
in his heart, “
There is no God. ”
They
are
corrupt ;
their
ways
are vile.
There is no
one
who
does
good.
The fool hath
said
in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they,
and
have
done
abominable
iniquity:
there is none
that
doeth
good.
There they are,
overwhelmed
with
dread
, where there
was
nothing
to
fear .
For God has
scattered the bones of those
who
besieged
you.
You
put them to shame, for
God has
despised them.
There were
they in
great
fear
, where no
fear was:
for God hath
scattered the bones of him
that
encampeth
against
thee:
thou
hast
put them to shame, because
God hath
despised them.
Oh ,
that the salvation of Israel would
come from
Zion! When God restores
His captive
people, let
Jacob rejoice, let
Israel be glad !
Oh that the salvation of Israel were
come out
of
Zion! When God bringeth
back
the
captivity
of
his people, Jacob shall
rejoice, and
Israel shall
be glad .
