A
Psalm.
A
song
for
the
dedication
of
the
temple.
Of
David.
I will exalt
You, O
LORD
, for You have lifted
me up and have not allowed
my foes to rejoice over me.
>
I will extol
you, Yahweh
, for you have raised
me up ,
And have not made
my foes to rejoice over me.
O
LORD
my God, I cried to You for
help
, and You healed me.
Yahweh
my God, I cried to you, And you have
healed me.
O
LORD
, You pulled
me
up from Sheol ;
You spared
me from
descending
into
the Pit.
Yahweh
, you have
brought
up my
soul
from Sheol .
You have
kept
me alive,
that
I
should
not
go
down
to
the pit.
Sing to the
LORD
, O
you His
saints ,
and
praise
His holy name.
Sing praise
to Yahweh
, you saints of
his .
Give
thanks
to
his
holy name.
For His anger is fleeting,
but His favor lasts
a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning.
For his anger is but for
a
moment;
His favor is
for
a lifetime. Weeping may stay for
the night, But joy comes in the morning.
In
prosperity
I said, “
I will
never be shaken
. ”
As
for
me,
I said in
my
prosperity
, "
I shall
never be moved
. "
O
LORD
, You favored me ;
You
made my mountain stand strong. When You hid Your face, I was dismayed
.
You
, Yahweh,
when
you favored me ,
made my mountain to
stand strong. But
when you hid your face, I was troubled
.
To You, O
LORD,
I
called,
and
I begged
my
Lord
for
mercy
:
I
cried
to you, Yahweh.
To
Yahweh
I made
supplication
:
“
What gain
is there in my bloodshed
, in
my
descent
to the Pit? Will
the dust praise You? Will
it proclaim
Your faithfulness
?
"
What profit
is there in my destruction
, if
I
go
down
to the pit? Shall
the dust praise you? Shall
it declare
your truth
?
Hear me
, O
LORD
, and have mercy ;
O
LORD
, be my helper. ”
Hear, Yahweh
, and have mercy on
me.
Yahweh
, be my helper. "
You turned my mourning into dancing ;
You peeled
off
my sackcloth and clothed me with joy
,
You have
turned my mourning into dancing for
me.
You have
removed
my sackcloth ,
and clothed me with gladness
,
that my heart may sing Your
praises
and not be silent. O
LORD
my God, I will give thanks forever .
To
the
end
that my heart may sing praise
to
you,
and not be silent. Yahweh
my God, I will give thanks to
you
forever !
