How
good
it is to sing praises to
our God ,
how
pleasant and lovely
to
praise Him!
Praise
ye
Jehovah;
For
it is good
to sing praises unto
our God ;
For
it
is
pleasant ,
`
and '
praise is
comely.
The
LORD
builds
up Jerusalem; He gathers
the exiles
of Israel.
Jehovah
doth
build
up Jerusalem; He gathereth
together
the outcasts
of Israel.
He heals
the brokenhearted
and binds
up their wounds.
He healeth
the broken
in
heart,
And bindeth
up their wounds.
He determines
the number of the stars; He calls
them each
by name
.
He counteth
the number of the stars; He calleth
them all
by `their'
names
.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has
no
limit
.

infinite
.
The
LORD
sustains
the humble,
but
casts
the wicked to the ground.
Jehovah
upholdeth
the meek:
He
bringeth
the wicked down
to the ground.
Sing to
the
LORD
with thanksgiving; make
music
on
the harp to
our God,

Jehovah
with thanksgiving; Sing
praises
upon
the harp unto
our God,
who covers
the sky
with clouds, who prepares
rain for the earth, who makes
grass to grow on
the hills
.
Who covereth
the heavens
with clouds, Who prepareth
rain for the earth, Who maketh
grass to grow upon
the mountains
.
He provides
food
for
the animals
, and for
the young ravens when
they
call
.
He giveth
to
the beast
his
food
, `
And '
to
the young ravens which
cry
.
He does
not delight
in the strength of the horse ;
He takes
no pleasure in the legpower
of the
man.
He delighteth
not in the strength of the horse :
He taketh
no pleasure in the legs
of a
man.
The
LORD
is
pleased
with
those
who
fear Him, who
hope in His loving
devotion
.
Jehovah
taketh
pleasure
in
them
that
fear him, In
those
that
hope in his lovingkindness
.
Exalt
the
LORD
, O Jerusalem; praise your
God, O Zion !
Praise
Jehovah
, O Jerusalem; Praise thy
God, O Zion .
For He strengthens
the bars of your
gates and
blesses
the
children within you
.
For he hath
strengthened
the bars of thy
gates ;
He
hath
blessed
thy
children within thee
.
He makes
peace at
your
borders; He fills
you
with the finest wheat.
He maketh
peace in
thy
borders; He filleth
thee
with the finest of
the
wheat.
He sends
forth
His command
to
the
earth; His word runs
swiftly.
He sendeth
out
his commandment
upon
earth; His word runneth
very
swiftly.
He spreads
the
snow like wool; He scatters
the frost like ashes ;
He giveth
snow like wool; He scattereth
the hoar-
frost like ashes .
He casts
forth His hail
like pebbles.
Who can withstand
His icy
blast
?
He casteth
forth his ice
like morsels:
Who can stand
before
his cold
?
He sends
forth
His word and melts
them ;
He unleashes
His winds
, and the waters flow.
He sendeth
out
his word ,
and melteth
them :
He causeth
his wind
to
blow
, and the waters flow.
He declares
His word to
Jacob, His statutes and judgments
to
Israel.
He showeth
his word unto
Jacob, His statutes and his
ordinances
unto
Israel.
He has
done
this
for
no
other
nation; they do
not know
His
judgments
. Hallelujah!
He hath
not
dealt
so
with
any
nation; And
as
for
his
ordinances,
they have
not known
them
. Praise
ye
Jehovah.
