Berean Standard Bible
Blessed be the LORD my strength
which
teacheth
my hands to
war, and
my fingers to
fight:
Of
David.
Blessed be the LORD ,
my Rock,
who
trains
my hands for
war, my fingers for
battle.
My goodness,
and my fortress ;
my
high
tower
, and my deliverer ;
my shield, and
he
in whom I trust;
who subdueth
my
people
under me.
He
is
my steadfast
love
and my fortress, my
stronghold
and my deliverer .
He
is
my shield, in whom I take
refuge,
who subdues
peoples
under me.
LORD, what is man, that thou
takest
knowledge
of
him !
or
the son of man ,
that thou
makest
account
of him !
O
LORD, what is man, that You
regard
him ,
the son of man that You
think
of him ?
Man is like to
vanity:
his days are as
a shadow that
passeth
away
.
Man is like a
breath;
his days are like
a passing
shadow.
Bow
thy
heavens, O LORD, and come down :
touch the mountains, and
they shall
smoke.
Part
Your
heavens, O LORD, and come down ;
touch the mountains, that
they may
smoke.
Cast
forth lightning ,
and scatter them :
shoot out
thine
arrows ,
and destroy
them.
Flash
forth Your
lightning and scatter them ;
shoot Your
arrows and rout
them.
Send
thine
hand
from above
; rid
me ,
and deliver
me out
of
great
waters, from the hand
of strange
children;
Reach
down
from on
high
; set
me free
and rescue
me from
the
deep
waters, from the grasp
of foreigners,
Whose mouth
speaketh
vanity
, and
their
right
hand
is
a
right hand
of
falsehood
.
whose mouths
speak
falsehood
, whose
right hands
are
deceitful
.
I will sing a new song unto
thee
, O God :
upon
a psaltery
and
an
instrument
of ten strings will
I sing
praises
unto
thee.
I will sing to
You
a new song, O God ;
on
a harp
of ten strings I will
make
music
to
You—
It
is
he
that
giveth
salvation
unto
kings :
who delivereth
David
his servant from the hurtful
sword.
to
Him
who
gives
victory
to
kings ,
who frees
His servant David
from the deadly
sword.
Rid
me ,
and deliver
me from the hand
of strange
children
, whose mouth
speaketh
vanity
, and
their
right
hand
is
a
right hand
of
falsehood:
Set
me free
and rescue
me from the grasp
of foreigners
, whose mouths
speak
falsehood
, whose
right hands
are
deceitful.
That
our sons may
be as
plants grown
up
in their youth ;
that
our daughters may
be
as
corner stones,
polished
after
the
similitude
of
a palace :
Then
our sons will
be like
plants nurtured
in their youth ,
our daughters like
corner pillars
carved
to
adorn
a palace .
That
our garners
may
be full, affording
all manner of store:
that
our sheep
may
bring forth thousands and
ten
thousands in our streets:
Our storehouses
will
be full, supplying
all manner of produce;
our flocks
will
bring forth thousands ,
tens
of
thousands in our fields.
That
our oxen may
be
strong
to
labour;
that
there be no breaking
in, nor
going out;
that
there
be
no complaining
in our streets.
Our oxen will
bear
great
loads.
There will
be no breach
in the
walls
, no
going into
captivity,
and
no cry
of
lament
in our streets.
Happy
is
that
people ,
that
is
in
such
a
case:
yea,
happy
is that
people ,
whose God is the LORD.
Blessed
are
the
people of
whom
this
is so;
blessed
are
the
people whose God is the LORD.
