David.
O
Jehovah,
hear my prayer, Give ear unto
my supplications ,
In Thy faithfulness answer me --
in Thy righteousness.
Hear my prayer, O
LORD,
give ear to
my supplications :
in thy faithfulness answer me ,
and
in thy righteousness.
And enter not into judgment with Thy servant ,
For no one
living is
justified before
Thee
.
And enter not into judgment with thy servant :
for in
thy
sight
shall
no man
living be
justified.
For an
enemy hath pursued
my soul ,
He hath bruised
to
the
earth
my life ,
He hath caused
me to dwell in dark
places
, As the
dead of
old
.
For the
enemy hath persecuted
my soul ;
he hath smitten
my life down
to
the
ground;
he hath made
me to dwell in darkness
, as those
that
have
been
long
dead.
And
my spirit in
me
is
become
feeble,
Within me is
my heart become
desolate.
Therefore
is
my spirit overwhelmed
within me ;
my heart within
me
is
desolate.
I have
remembered
days of old ,
I have
meditated
on all Thine
acts,
On the work of Thy hand
I
muse
.

I have
spread
forth my hands unto Thee ,
My soul `is'
as a weary
land for
Thee

I stretch
forth my hands unto thee :
my soul thirsteth

thee,

Haste,
answer
me, O Jehovah,
My spirit hath
been
consumed,
Hide not Thou
Thy face from me, Or
I have
been
compared
with
those
going
down `to'
the pit.
Hear
me speedily
, O LORD:
my spirit faileth:
hide not thy face from me, lest
I be
like
unto
them
that
go
down into
the pit.
Cause me to hear in the morning Thy
kindness,
For in Thee I have
trusted,
Cause me to know the way that
I go,
For unto
Thee
I have
lifted
up my soul.
Cause me to hear thy
lovingkindness
in the morning ;
for in thee do
I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein
I should
walk;
for I lift
up my soul unto
thee
.
Deliver me from
mine
enemies
, O Jehovah
, Near
Thee
I am
covered
.
Deliver me, O LORD
, from
mine
enemies:
I flee
unto
thee
to
hide
me
.
Teach me to do Thy good
pleasure,
For Thou `
art '
my God --
Thy Spirit `
is '
good ,
Lead me into a
land of uprightness.

Jehovah,
Thou
dost
quicken
me,
In
Thy righteousness ,

bringest
out
from
distress
my soul ,
Quicken
me,

bring
my soul out
of
trouble.
And in
Thy kindness
cuttest
off mine enemies, And hast
destroyed
all the
adversaries
of
my soul ,
For I `
am '
Thy servant !
And of
thy mercy
cut
off mine enemies, and destroy
all them
that
afflict
my soul :
for I am thy servant .
