A
Psalm
of
David.
How long, O LORD
? Will
You
forget me forever
? How long will
You
hide Your
face from me?
How long, O Jehovah
? wilt
thou
forget me for
ever
? How long wilt
thou
hide thy
face from me?
How long must
I wrestle
in my soul, with
sorrow in my heart each
day? How long will
my
enemy dominate
me?
How long shall
I take
counsel
in my soul, Having
sorrow in my heart all
the
day? How long shall
mine
enemy be
exalted
over
me?
Consider me
and respond
, O LORD
my God .
Give
light
to
my
eyes, lest I sleep in
death ,
Consider `
and '
answer
me
, O Jehovah
my God :
Lighten
mine
eyes, lest I sleep the
`sleep
of'
death ;
lest my
enemy say, “
I have overcome
him ,”
and
my
foes
rejoice when I fall
.
Lest mine
enemy say, I have prevailed
against
him ;
`Lest'
mine
adversaries
rejoice when I am
moved
.
But I have trusted in Your
loving
devotion
; my heart will
rejoice in Your
salvation.
But I have trusted in thy
lovingkindness
; My heart shall
rejoice in thy
salvation.
I will sing to
the
LORD
, for
He has
been
good
to
me.
I will sing unto
Jehovah
, Because
he hath
dealt
bountifully
with
me. Psalm
14
