and knowest

LORD
, You
have
searched me and known
me
.
Thou
--
Thou
hast
known
my
sitting
down,
And my
rising
up,
Thou
hast
attended
to
my thoughts from afar.
You
know
when
I
sit
and when
I
rise;
You
understand
my thoughts from afar.
My path and my couch
Thou
hast
fanned,
And
`with'
all my ways hast
been
acquainted
.
You
search
out
my path and my lying
down;
You
are
aware
of
all my ways.
For
there
is
not
a word in
my tongue, Lo
, O Jehovah,
Thou
hast
known
it
all!
Even
before
a word is
on
my tongue, You
know
all
about
it
, O LORD.
Behind and before Thou
hast
besieged
me,
And
Thou
dost
place
on
me
Thy
hand.
You
hem
me
in
behind and before ;
You
have
laid
Your
hand upon
me
.
Knowledge too wonderful for me, It
hath
been
set
on
high,
I
am
not
able
for it
.
Such
knowledge is
too wonderful for me, too
lofty
for me
to
attain
.
Whither
do
I go from
Thy
Spirit? And
whither
from
Thy
face
do
I flee?
Where
can
I go to
escape
Your
Spirit? Where
can
I flee from
Your
presence
?
If I ascend the heavens --
there
Thou
`art'
, And
spread
out
a
couch
in Sheol, lo,
Thee!
If I ascend to
the heavens, You
are
there;
if
I
make
my
bed
in Sheol, You
are
there.
I take
the wings of morning
, I dwell
in
the
uttermost
part
of
the sea,
If
I rise
on
the wings of the
dawn
, if
I settle
by
the farthest
sea,
Also
there Thy
hand doth
lead
me ,
And
Thy
right hand doth
hold me.
even
there Your
hand will
guide
me ;
Your
right hand will
hold me fast
.
And
I say, `
Surely darkness bruiseth
me, Then
night
`is'
light to
me .
If
I say, “
Surely the
darkness will
hide
me, and
the
light become
night
around
me ”—
Also
darkness hideth
not from
Thee
, And
night as
day shineth
, as
`is'
darkness so
`
is '
light.
even
the
darkness is
not dark
to
You
, but
the
night shines
like
the
day, for
darkness is as
light to
You
.
For Thou
--
Thou
hast
possessed
my reins,
Thou
dost
cover
me in my mother's
belly
.
For You
formed
my inmost
being;
You
knit
me together
in my mother’s
womb
.
I confess
Thee
, because
that
`with'
wonders
I have
been
distinguished
. Wonderful
`
are '
Thy
works, And my
soul
is
knowing
`it'
well.
I praise
You
, for
I am
fearfully
and
wonderfully
made
. Marvelous
are Your
works, and I
know
this
very
well.
My substance
was not hid
from Thee,
When I was made in secret, Curiously
wrought
in the lower
part
of earth.
My frame
was not hidden
from You
when I was made in secret, when
I
was
woven
together
in the depths
of the
earth.
Mine
unformed
substance
Thine
eyes saw ,
And
on
Thy
book
all of
them
are
written,
The
days they
were formed
--
And not
one among
them.
Your
eyes saw my
unformed
body;
all my
days were written
in
Your
book
and ordained
for
me
before
one of
them came
to
be
.
And
to
me
how precious have
been
Thy
thoughts, O God, how great
hath
been
their sum!
How precious to
me
are
Your
thoughts, O God, how vast
is
their sum!
I recount
them !
than
the sand they
are
more,
I have
waked
, and
I am still with Thee
.
If
I were
to
count
them ,
they
would
outnumber
the grains
of
sand ;
and
when
I awake
, I am still with You
.
Dost
Thou
slay,
O God, the wicked ?
Then,
men
of
blood,
turn
aside
from me !
O God, that
You
would
slay
the wicked —
away
from me ,
you
bloodthirsty
men—
Who exchange
Thee
for
wickedness,
Lifted
up
to
vanity
`are'
Thine
enemies.
who speak
of
You
deceitfully;
Your
enemies take
Your
name
in
vain
.
Do not
I hate, Jehovah
, those
hating
Thee?
And with
Thy
withstanders
grieve
myself
?
Do I not
hate those
who
hate
You
, O
LORD
, and detest
those
who
rise
against
You
?

With '
perfect hatred I have
hated
them ,
Enemies they
have
become
to
me
.
I
hate
them
with perfect hatred ;
I count
them as
my
enemies.
Search me, O God, and know my heart ,
Try
me ,
and know my thoughts,
Search me, O God, and know my heart ;
test
me and know my concerns.
And
see if a
grievous
way be
in me ,
And
lead me in a
way age-during!
See if there
is
any
offensive
way in me ;
lead me in the
way everlasting.
