When Jehovah brought back those that returned to Zion, We were like unto them that dream .
A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers .

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them.
Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them. ”

Jehovah hath done great things for us , `Whereof' we are glad .
The LORD has done great things for us ; we are filled with joy .

Turn again our captivity , O Jehovah , As the streams in the South .
Restore our captives , O LORD , like streams in the Negev .

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth , bearing seed for sowing , Shall doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves `with him'. Psalm 127 A Song of Ascents; of Solomon .
He who goes out weeping , bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain .
