I was glad when they said to
me, “
Let us go to
the house of the LORD. ”
I was glad when they said unto
me, Let us go into
the house of the LORD.
Our feet are
standing
in
your
gates, O Jerusalem.
Our feet shall
stand
within
thy
gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is built
up
as a city united
together ,
Jerusalem is builded
as a city that
is
compact
together :
where
the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as
a
testimony for
Israel, to give thanks to
the name of the LORD.
Whither
the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto
the
testimony of
Israel, to give thanks unto
the name of the LORD.
For there the
thrones of judgment stand
, the thrones of the house of David.
For there are
set
thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May
those
who
love
you
prosper.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they
shall
prosper that
love
thee
.
May
there
be
peace within your
walls, and prosperity inside
your
fortresses
. ”
Peace be
within thy
walls, and prosperity within
thy
palaces
.
For the
sake
of
my brothers
and friends
, I will say, “
Peace be within you
. ”
For my brethren
and companions'
sakes
, I will now
say, Peace be within thee
.
For
the
sake
of the house of the LORD our God ,
I will seek your
prosperity
.
Because
of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy
good
.
