Verse
YLT
Young's Literal Translation
KJV
King James Version
Praise ye Jah!
O
the happiness
of
one
fearing
Jehovah
, In His commands
he
hath
delighted
greatly
.
Praise ye the LORD.
Blessed
is
the
man
that
feareth
the
LORD
, that
delighteth
greatly
in his commandments
.
Mighty
in
the
earth
is
his seed ,
The generation of the upright is
blessed.
His seed shall
be
mighty
upon
earth:
the generation of the upright shall
be
blessed.
Wealth and riches `are'
in his house ,
And his righteousness is
standing
for ever.
Wealth and riches shall
be
in his house :
and his righteousness endureth
for ever.
Light hath
risen
in darkness
to
the upright,
Gracious, and merciful
, and righteous.
Unto
the
upright
there
ariseth
light in the darkness:
he
is
gracious, and full
of
compassion
, and righteous.
Good `is'
the
man --
gracious
and
lending
, He sustaineth
his matters
in
judgment
.
A
good man sheweth
favour
, and
lendeth:
he will
guide
his affairs
with
discretion
.
For
--
to
the
age
he is
not moved ;
For a
memorial
age-during
is
the righteous.
Surely
he shall
not be
moved for ever:
the righteous shall
be
in
everlasting
remembrance
.
Of
an
evil
report
he is
not afraid ,
Prepared
is
His heart, confident
in Jehovah
.
He shall
not be
afraid of
evil
tidings:
his heart is
fixed
, trusting
in the
LORD
.
Sustained
is
his heart --
he feareth
not, Till
that
he look
on
his adversaries
.
His heart is
established,
he shall
not be
afraid
, until
he see
his desire
upon
his
enemies
.
He hath scattered
--
hath given to the needy,
His righteousness is
standing
for ever ,
His horn is
exalted with honour.
He hath dispersed,
he
hath given to the poor;
his righteousness endureth
for ever ;
his horn shall
be
exalted with honour.
The wicked seeth
, and hath
been
angry,
His teeth he
gnasheth
, and hath
melted,
The desire of the wicked doth
perish !
The wicked shall
see
it
, and be
grieved;
he
shall
gnash
with
his teeth, and melt
away:
the desire of the wicked shall
perish .
