Praise
ye
Jehovah.
Oh
give thanks unto
Jehovah;
for he is good; For
his lovingkindness
`endureth'
forever.
Hallelujah!
Give thanks to
the
LORD,
for He is good; His loving
devotion
endures
forever.
Who can utter
the mighty acts of Jehovah,
Or show
forth
all
his praise?
Who can describe
the mighty acts of the
LORD
or fully
proclaim
His praise?
Blessed are they
that
keep
justice, And
he
that
doeth
righteousness at all times.
Blessed are those
who
uphold
justice, who
practice
righteousness at all times.
Remember me, O Jehovah
, with
the
favor that
thou
bearest
unto
thy
people; Oh
visit me with thy
salvation,
Remember me, O LORD
, in
Your
favor to
Your
people; visit me with Your
salvation,
That I may see the prosperity of thy
chosen, That
I
may
rejoice in the gladness of thy
nation, That
I
may
glory with thine
inheritance.
that I may see the prosperity of Your
chosen ones
, and
rejoice in the gladness of Your
nation, and
give
glory with Your
inheritance.
We have sinned with
our fathers ,
We
have
committed
iniquity,
we have done wickedly.
We have sinned like
our fathers ;
we have done wrong
and
acted
wickedly.
Our fathers understood
not
thy
wonders
in Egypt ;
They
remembered
not the
multitude
of
thy
lovingkindnesses,
But were
rebellious
at
the sea, even
at the Red Sea.
Our fathers in Egypt did
not grasp
Your
wonders
or
remember
Your
abundant
kindness;
but they
rebelled
by
the sea, there
at the Red Sea.
Nevertheless
he saved them for his
name's
sake, That
he
might
make his mighty
power to
be
known.
Yet
He saved them for the
sake of
His
name
, to
make His power known.
He rebuked the Red Sea also
, and it was
dried up :
So
he led them through the depths ,
as through a wilderness
.

So
He granted
their request, but sent a
wasting
disease
upon
them
.
They
envied
Moses
also
in the camp, `And'
Aaron the saint
of Jehovah
.

LORD
.
The earth opened and swallowed up

And

of Abiram.

LORD
.
Therefore
he
sware
unto
them,
That
he would

them in the wilderness,
So
He raised
His
hand
and
swore
to
cast
them down
in the wilderness,
And
that
he
would
overthrow
their seed
among the nations ,
And scatter them in
the lands.
to
disperse
their offspring

themselves also
unto
Baal -
peor ,
And ate the
sacrifices of
the
dead

to anger with their doings;

in
upon
them.
So

LORD

stood
up

and executed
judgment;
And so
the plague was stayed
.
But
Phinehas stood
and intervened,
and the plague was restrained
.
And
that
was reckoned
unto
him for
righteousness ,
Unto
all
generations
for evermore
.
It
was credited
to
him as
righteousness for endless
generations
to
come
.
They
angered
him
also
at the waters of Meribah, So
that
it
went
ill
with
Moses for
their
sakes;
At the waters of Meribah they

LORD

came
to

of
them.
Because

rebellious
against his spirit, And he
spake
unadvisedly
with his lips.

commanded them,

But mingled themselves

their works,

their customs.
And
served
their idols, Which became a snare unto
them.
They
worshiped

Yea,
they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto
demons ,

And
shed innocent blood ,
Even
the blood of their sons and of
their
daughters, Whom they sacrificed unto
the idols of Canaan ;
And the land was polluted with blood.
They

Thus
were
they defiled with
their works,
And played
the
harlot
in
their doings
.
They defiled themselves

their actions

Therefore
was
the wrath
of Jehovah
kindled
against his people, And he abhorred his inheritance.
So
the anger
of the
LORD
burned
against His people, and He abhorred His own
inheritance.
And
he gave
them into the hand of the nations ;
And they
that
hated them ruled over them.
He delivered
them into the hand of the nations ,
and those
who
hated them ruled over them.
Their enemies also
oppressed them, And they
were
brought
into
subjection
under their hand.
Their enemies oppressed them, and subdued

Many times did
he deliver
them ;
But they were rebellious
in
their
counsel,
And were
brought
low
in their iniquity.
Many times He rescued
them ,
but they were bent
on
rebellion
and sank
down
in their iniquity.
Nevertheless he regarded
their
distress,
When
he
heard their cry :
Nevertheless He heard their cry ;
He
took
note
of
their
distress.
And he remembered for
them
his covenant, And repented
according
to
the multitude
of his lovingkindnesses
.
And He remembered His covenant with
them
, and relented
by
the abundance
of His loving
devotion
.
He made them also
to
be
pitied
Of all those
that
carried
them captive.
He made them objects
of compassion
to
all who
held
them captive.
Save us, O Jehovah
our God, And gather us from among
the nations, To
give thanks unto
thy
holy name, And
to
triumph
in thy
praise.
Save us, O LORD
our God, and gather us from the nations, that
we
may
give thanks to
Your
holy name, that
we
may
glory
in Your
praise.
Blessed be Jehovah
, the God of Israel, From everlasting even
to everlasting. And
let all the people say, Amen .
