Jerusalem :
the rest of the people also
cast lots ,
to bring one of ten to dwell
in Jerusalem
the holy city, and
nine parts
to dwell in other
cities
.
And the people blessed all the men who
volunteered
to live
in
Jerusalem.
And the people blessed all the men ,
that
willingly
offered
themselves
to dwell
at
Jerusalem.
These are the heads
of the provinces
who
settled
in Jerusalem .

In the villages
of Judah ,
however,
each
lived
on
his own
property
in their towns—the
Israelites
, priests, Levites, temple
servants
, and descendants
of Solomon’s
servants —
Now
these are the chief
of the province
that
dwelt
in Jerusalem :
but
in the cities
of Judah dwelt
every
one
in
his possession
in their cities
, to
wit,
Israel,
the
priests, and
the
Levites, and
the
Nethinims
, and the
children
of Solomon's
servants .
while
some
of the descendants
of Judah and Benjamin settled
in
Jerusalem
. )

begin
the
thanksgiving in
prayer :
and

the gatekeepers:

The rest

Israelites
, with
the priests and Levites, were in all the villages
of Judah, each
on
his own
inheritance.
And
the residue

The
temple
servants
lived
on
the hill
of
Ophel ,

Ziha and Gishpa
over them
.

the Nethinims
dwelt
in
Ophel :

Now
the overseer of the Levites in
Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica
. He
was
one
of Asaph’s
descendants
, who
were
the singers in
charge
of
the service
of the house of God.
The overseer also
of the Levites at
Jerusalem was Uzzi the
son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha
. Of the
sons
of
Asaph
, the singers were
over
the business
of the house of God.
For there
was a
command
from
the king
concerning the singers, an
ordinance
regulating
their
daily
activities
.
For it
was the king's
commandment
concerning them,
that
a
certain
portion
should
be
for
the singers, due
for
every
day
.
Pethahiah son of Meshezabel
, a
descendant
of Zerah son of Judah, was the king’s
agent
in every
matter
concerning the people.
And

they settled
from Beersheba all
the

the Valley of Hinnom.

the

. And
they dwelt
from Beersheba unto
the valley of Hinnom.
The descendants
of Benjamin from Geba lived
in
Michmash, Aija, and Bethel with
its
villages ;
The children
also
of Benjamin from Geba dwelt
at
Michmash, and
Aija, and Bethel ,
and
in
their
villages .
in
Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
And
at
Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

Lod, and Ono ;
and
in
the Valley of the
