Jesus
got
into a boat, crossed over, and came to
His own town
.
He
entered

.
Just
then
some
men
brought to Him a paralytic
lying on a mat
. When
Jesus saw
their faith, He
said to the paralytic, “Take
courage,
son ;
your sins are forgiven. ”
Behold,
they
brought to him a man
who
was
paralyzed,
lying on a bed
. Jesus ,
seeing
their faith, said to the paralytic, "
Son ,
cheer
up!
Your sins are forgiven you
. "
On
seeing
this
, some of the scribes said to themselves, “
This man is
blaspheming!”
Behold
, some of the scribes said to themselves, "
This man blasphemes."
But
Jesus knew
what
they
were
thinking
and
said, “
Why do you harbor
evil in your hearts?
Jesus ,
knowing
their
thoughts,
said, "
Why do you think
evil in your hearts?
Which is easier :
to say, ‘
Your sins are forgiven ,’
or to say, ‘
Get up and walk? ’
For
which is easier ,
to say, '
Your sins are forgiven ;'
or to say, '
Get up ,
and walk? '
But so
that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins... ”
Then He said to the paralytic, “
Get up, pick
up your mat, and go home
. ”
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins... "

then he said to the paralytic )
, "
Get up, and
take
up your mat, and go up
to
your
house
. "
And
the
man
got
up
and went
home
.
He
arose
and departed
to
his
house
.
When the crowds
saw this
, they were
filled
with
awe
and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
But
when the multitudes
saw it
, they marveled
and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
As Jesus went
on
from there, He saw a man named
Matthew sitting at the tax booth
. “Follow
Me,”
He told
him, and
Matthew
got up and followed Him.
As Jesus passed
by
from there, he saw a man called
Matthew sitting at the tax collection
office
. He said
to
him, "Follow
me."
He
got up and followed him.
Later,
as Jesus
was
dining
at
Matthew’s
house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate
with Him
and His disciples.
It
happened
as he
sat
in
the
house, behold,
many tax collectors and sinners came and sat
down
with Jesus
and his disciples.
When the Pharisees saw this
, they asked
His disciples, “
Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? ”
When the Pharisees saw it
, they said
to
his disciples, "
Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? "
On
hearing
this,
Jesus said, “It
is
not
the
healthy
who need a doctor
, but the
sick.
When
Jesus heard
it,
he
said to
them
, "Those
who are
healthy
have
no
need for
a physician
, but those
who
are
sick do
.
But go and learn what this means: ‘
I desire mercy, not sacrifice .’
For I have
not come
to call the righteous, but sinners. ”
But you
go and learn what this means: '
I desire mercy, and
not sacrifice ,'
for I came
not to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance
. "
At
that
time
John’s
disciples came to Jesus
and
asked
, “
Why is
it
that
we and the Pharisees fast so
often, but Your disciples do
not
fast? ”
Then
John's
disciples came to him
, saying,
"
Why do
we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples don't
fast? "
Jesus replied
, “How
can the guests
of the bridegroom mourn while
He
is with them? But the time
will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them ;
then they will fast.
Jesus said
to
them
, "
Can the friends
of the bridegroom mourn ,
as
long
as
the
bridegroom
is with them? But the days
will come when the bridegroom will be taken away
from them ,
and
then they will fast.
No one sews
a patch
of unshrunk cloth on an old garment .
For the patch will
pull
away from the garment, and a worse tear
will
result
.
No one puts
a piece
of unshrunk cloth on an old garment ;
for the patch would
tear
away from the garment, and a worse hole
is
made
.
Neither do men
pour
new wine into old wineskins .
If
they
do
, the skins will
burst, the wine will
spill
, and the wineskins
will
be
ruined. Instead
, they pour
new wine into new
wineskins, and both are preserved. ”
Neither do people
put
new wine into old wineskins, or
else
the skins would
burst, and
the wine be
spilled
, and the skins
ruined. No

wineskins, and both are preserved. "
While Jesus
was
saying
these things, a synagogue
leader
came and knelt
before
Him .
“
My daughter has just died, ”
he
said.
“
But come and place
Your hand on her, and she will live. ”
While he
told
these things to
them
, behold,
a ruler
came and worshiped
him ,
saying,
"
My daughter has just died, but come and lay
your hand on her, and she will live. "
So
Jesus got up and went
with
him, along
with
His disciples.
Jesus got up and followed
him, as
did
his disciples.
Suddenly
a woman who had suffered
from
bleeding
for twelve years came up
behind Him and touched the fringe
of His cloak.
Behold,
a woman who had an
issue
of
blood
for twelve years came behind him ,
and touched the tassels
of his garment;
She said to
herself, “
If only
I touch His cloak
, I will be healed
. ”
for
she said within
herself, "
If I just
touch his garment
, I will be made
well
. "
Jesus turned
and saw
her .
“Take
courage
, daughter,”
He
said, “
your faith has healed
you. ”
And the woman was cured
from that very
hour.
But
Jesus ,
turning
around
and seeing
her, said, "Daughter,
cheer
up!
Your faith has made
you well
. "
And the woman was made
well
from that hour.
When Jesus entered
the house of
the
synagogue
leader
, He
saw the flute players and the noisy
crowd .
When Jesus came
into
the ruler's
house, and
saw the flute players ,
and the crowd in
noisy
disorder,
“Go
away,”
He told
them .
“
The girl is
not
dead, but asleep
. ”
And
they laughed
at
Him.
he said
to
them ,
"Make
room,
because
the girl isn't
dead, but sleeping
. "
They were
ridiculing
him.
After
the crowd had
been
put outside
, Jesus
went
in and
took the
girl
by the hand, and she
got
up
.
But
when
the crowd was
put out
, he
entered
in ,
took her
by the hand, and the
girl
arose
.
And
the news
about
this spread
throughout
that region
.
The report
of
this went
out
into
all
that land
.
As Jesus went
on
from there, two blind men followed Him, crying
out, “
Have mercy on us, Son of David! ”
As Jesus passed
by
from there, two blind men followed him, calling
out and
saying
, "
Have mercy on us, son of David! "
After
Jesus
had entered
the house, the blind men came to Him. “
Do you believe that I am able to do this? ”
He
asked.
“
Yes, Lord ,”
they
answered
.
When
he
had come
into
the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus
said
to
them,
"
Do you believe that I am able to do this? "
They
told
him,
"
Yes, Lord. "
Then He touched their eyes and
said
, “
According to your faith will
it
be done to you. ”
Then he touched their eyes, saying,
"
According to your faith be it
done to you. "
And
their eyes were opened. Jesus warned
them sternly
, “
See that no one finds
out
about this !”
Their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly
charged
them, saying,
"
See that no one knows
about this ."
But they went out and spread the
news
about
Him
throughout
the
land.
But they went out and spread abroad
his
fame
in
all
that
land.
As they were
leaving
, a demon-possessed
man who was mute
was brought to Jesus
.
As they went
out
, behold,
a mute
man who was demon
possessed
was brought to him
.
And
when the demon had
been
driven
out, the man began
to
speak
. The crowds
were
amazed
and
said
, “
Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel! ”
When the demon was
cast
out, the mute
man spoke
. The multitudes
marveled
, saying,
"
Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel! "
But the Pharisees said, “It
is
by the prince of demons that
He drives
out demons. ”
But the Pharisees said, "
By the prince of the
demons ,
he casts
out demons. "
Jesus went through
all the towns
and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.
Jesus went about
all the cities
and the

When He saw the crowds
, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless

Then He said to His disciples, “
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers
are few.
Then he said to his disciples, "
The harvest indeed
is plentiful, but the laborers
are few.
Ask
the Lord of the harvest ,
therefore,
to
send out workers
into His harvest. ”
Pray
therefore
that
the Lord of the harvest will
send out laborers
into his harvest. "
