Now
late

the sabbath day

of the week, came
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre
.
After
the Sabbath, at

to see the tomb
.
And
behold,
there was a great earthquake ;
for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and
came
and
rolled away the stone, and sat upon
it.
Suddenly
there was a great earthquake ,

His appearance was as
lightning, and his raiment
white as snow :

fear of him the
watchers

quake,

the angel answered

said unto
the women, Fear
not ye;
for I know that ye
seek
Jesus, who hath

crucified.

the women, “Do
not be
afraid,
for I know that you
are
looking
for
Jesus, who was
crucified.
He is not here; for
he is
risen, even
as he said .
Come, see the place where the
Lord
lay.
He is not here; He has
risen, just
as He said !
Come, see the place where He
lay.
And
go quickly ,
and tell his disciples, He is
risen from the dead ;
and lo,
he
goeth
before
you into Galilee ;
there shall
ye
see him :
lo
, I have told you.
Then
go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘
He has
risen from the dead and is
going
ahead
of
you into Galilee .
There you
will
see Him .’
See
, I have told you. ”
And
they departed
quickly
from the tomb with
fear and great joy, and ran to bring
his disciples word
.
So
they hurried
away
from the tomb in
fear and great joy, and ran to tell
His disciples.
And
behold,
Jesus met them ,
saying,
All
hail.
And they came and
took
hold
of
his feet, and worshipped
him.
Suddenly
Jesus met them and said,
“Greetings!”
They came to
Him,
grasped
His feet, and worshiped
Him.
Then
saith
Jesus
unto
them,
Fear
not :
go tell my brethren
that
they
depart
into
Galilee ,
and
there shall
they see me.
“Do
not be
afraid,”
said
Jesus.
“
Go and
tell My brothers
to
go
to
Galilee .
There they will
see Me. ”
Now
while they
were going,
behold
, some of the guard
came
into the city ,
and told
unto
the chief priests all the
things
that were
come
to
pass
.
While the
women
were on
their
way
, some of the guards
went
into the city and reported
to
the chief priests all that had
happened
.
And when
they
were
assembled
with the elders ,
and had
taken
counsel
, they gave much
money
unto
the soldiers ,
And after
the
chief
priests
had
met
with the elders and formed
a
plan
, they gave the soldiers a
large
sum
of
money
saying,
Say ye
, His disciples came by night ,
and stole him away while we slept
.
and
instructed
them:
“You
are
to
say, ‘
His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were
asleep
. ’
And
if this come
to
the governor's
ears
, we will persuade
him ,
and rid
you of care
.
If this report
reaches
the governor
, we will satisfy
him and keep
you out
of trouble
. ”
So they
took the money ,
and did as they were taught:
and this saying
was
spread
abroad
among the Jews ,
`and
continueth'
until
this day.
So the
guards
took the money and did as they were instructed.
And this account
has
been
circulated
among the Jews to
this very
day.
But
the eleven disciples went into
Galilee, unto
the mountain where
Jesus had appointed
them
.
Meanwhile,
the eleven disciples went to
Galilee, to
the mountain Jesus had designated
.
And
when they saw him, they worshipped
`
him ';
but some doubted.
When they saw Him, they worshiped

And
Jesus came to them and spake
unto
them,
saying
, All authority hath
been
given
unto

in heaven and on earth.

nations, baptizing them into
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit :
Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father ,
and of the Son ,
and of the Holy Spirit ,
teaching them to observe
all things
whatsoever
I commanded you :
and lo,
I am with you always, even unto
the end of the world
.
and
teaching them to obey
all that
I have
commanded you .
And surely
I am with you always, even to
the end of the age
. ”
