And
as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith
unto
him, Master
, see what manner
of stones and what buildings are
here
!
As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said
to
him, "Teacher
, see what kind
of stones and what kind
of
buildings! "
And
Jesus answering
said unto
him, Seest
thou
these great buildings? there shall
not be left one stone upon
another, that
shall
not be thrown down.
Jesus said to
him, "Do
you
see
these great buildings? There will
not be left here
one stone on
another, which
will
not be thrown down. "
And
as he sat upon
the mount of Olives over
against
the temple, Peter and
James and
John and Andrew asked him privately,
As he sat on
the Mount of Olives opposite
the temple, Peter ,
James ,
John ,
and Andrew asked him privately,
Tell us, when shall
these things be? and
what shall
be
the sign when
all
these things shall
be fulfilled?
"
Tell us, when will
these things be? What is
the sign that
these things are
all
about
to
be fulfilled? "
And
Jesus answering them
began to say
, Take
heed
lest
any
man
deceive
you :
Jesus ,
answering ,
began to tell
them
, "Be
careful
that
no
one
leads
you astray.
For many shall
come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and shall
deceive
many.
For many will
come in my name, saying, '
I am he!'
and will
lead
many astray
.
And
when ye
shall
hear of wars and rumours
of wars, be ye
not
troubled :
for such
things
must needs
be;
but the end shall
not be
yet.
"
When you
hear of wars and rumors
of wars, don't
be troubled .
For those
must happen,
but the end is
not yet.
For nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom :
and
there shall
be earthquakes in divers
places ,
and
there shall
be famines and troubles :
these are the beginnings
of sorrows
.
For nation will
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom .
There will
be earthquakes in various
places .
There will
be famines and troubles .
These things
are the beginning
of birth
pains
.
But take
heed
to
yourselves :
for they shall
deliver you up to councils ;
and
in
the
synagogues
ye
shall
be beaten :
and
ye
shall
be
brought
before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against
them.
But watch
yourselves ,
for they will
deliver you up to councils .
You
will
be beaten in
synagogues.
You
will
stand
before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to
them.
And
the gospel must first be published
among
all nations.
The Gospel must first be preached
to
all the
nations.
But
when they shall
lead you ,
and deliver you up, take
no
thought
beforehand what
ye
shall
speak
, neither
do
ye
premeditate :
but whatsoever
shall
be given you in that hour ,
that
speak
ye:
for it is not ye
that
speak, but the Holy Ghost
.
When they lead you away
and deliver you up, don't
be
anxious
beforehand, or
premeditate what
you
will
say,
but say
whatever
will
be given you in that hour .
For it is not you
who
speak, but the Holy Spirit
.
Now
the
brother shall
betray
the
brother to death, and the father the
son;
and
children shall
rise up against their
parents, and shall
cause them to be put to death.
"
Brother will
deliver
up
brother to death, and the father his
child.
Children will
rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And
ye
shall
be hated of
all men for my name's sake :
but he that
shall
endure
unto
the end, the same shall
be saved.
You
will
be hated by
all men for my name's sake ,
but he who
endures
to
the end, the same will
be saved.
But when ye
shall
see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not ,
(let him
that
readeth
understand ,
) then let them
that
be
in Judaea
flee to the mountains :
But when you
see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let the
reader
understand) ,
then let those
who
are
in Judea
flee to the mountains ,
And let him that
is on the housetop not go down into
the
house
, neither
enter therein
, to take any
thing
out of his house :
and let him who
is on the housetop not go down, nor
enter in
, to take anything
out of his house .
And
let him that
is in the field not turn
back again
for
to take up
his garment
.
Let him who
is in the field not return
back to take his cloak
.
But woe to them
that
are with child ,
and to them
that
give
suck
in those days!
But woe to those
who
are with child and to those
who
nurse
babies
in those days!
And
pray ye
that your flight be not
in the winter.
Pray that your flight won't
be in the winter.
For in those days shall
be affliction
, such as was
not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto
this
time
, neither
shall
be.
For in those days there
will
be oppression
, such as there
has
not been
the
like
from the beginning of the creation which God created until
now
, and
never
will
be.
And
except
that
the Lord had shortened those
days, no flesh should
be
saved :
but for the elect's
sake, whom he hath
chosen
, he hath
shortened the days.
Unless
the Lord had shortened the
days, no flesh would
have
been
saved ;
but for the sake of
the
chosen
ones
, whom he picked
out
, he shortened the days.
And
then if any
man
shall
say
to
you, Lo
, here is Christ ;
or, lo
, he
is
there ;
believe him
not:
Then if anyone
tells
you, 'Look
, here is the
Christ !'
or, 'Look
, there !'
don't
believe it.
For false Christs and false prophets shall
rise
, and shall
shew
signs and wonders, to
seduce
, if it
were
possible, even the elect
.
For there
will
arise
false christs and false prophets, and will
show
signs and wonders, that
they
may
lead
astray
, if possible, even the chosen
ones
.
But take
ye
heed:
behold, I have foretold
you all things.
But you
watch.
"
Behold, I have told
you all things beforehand
.
But in those days, after that tribulation
, the sun shall
be darkened, and
the moon shall
not give her
light,
But in those days, after that oppression
, the sun will
be darkened, the moon will
not give its
light,
And
the stars of
heaven
shall
fall
, and the powers that are in heaven
shall
be shaken.
the stars will
be
falling
from
the
sky
, and the powers that are in the
heavens
will
be shaken.
And
then shall
they see the Son of man coming in the
clouds with great power and glory.
Then they will
see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
And
then shall
he send his angels, and shall
gather together his elect
from the four winds, from the uttermost
part
of the earth to the uttermost
part
of heaven
.
Then he will
send out
his angels, and will
gather together his chosen
ones
from the four winds, from the ends
of the earth to the ends
of the
sky
.
Now learn
a
parable
of
the fig tree ;
When her
branch is
yet
tender, and putteth
forth leaves, ye
know that summer is near :
"
Now from
the fig tree ,
learn
this
parable.
When the
branch has
now
become
tender, and puts
forth its
leaves, you
know that the
summer is near ;
So ye
in
like
manner
, when ye
shall
see these things come
to pass, know that it is nigh
, even
at the doors.
even
so you
also
, when you
see these things coming
to pass, know that it is near
, at the doors.
Verily
I say unto
you, that
this generation shall
not pass ,
till
all these things be
done
.
Most
assuredly
I say to
you, this generation will
not pass away
until
all these things happen
.
Heaven and earth shall
pass away :
but my words shall
not pass away.
Heaven and earth will
pass away ,
but my words will
not pass away.
But of that day and
that hour knoweth
no man,
no
, not the angels which
are
in heaven, neither
the Son, but the Father.
But of that day or
that hour no one
knows
, not even
the angels in heaven, nor
the Son, but only
the Father.
Take
ye
heed,
watch and pray :
for ye
know not
when the time is.
Watch ,
keep
alert,
and pray ;
for you
don't
know when the time is.
For
the
Son
of
Man
is as
a man taking
a
far
journey
, who
left his house, and gave
authority to his servants, and to every
man
his work, and commanded the porter
to watch.
"It
is like
a man, traveling
to
another
country,
having
left his house, and given
authority to his servants, and to each
one
his work, and also
commanded the doorkeeper
to keep
watch.
Watch ye
therefore :
for ye
know not
when the master
of the house cometh
, at even
, or at midnight, or at
the cockcrowing
, or in the morning :
Watch therefore ,
for you
don't
know when the lord
of the house is
coming
, whether
at evening
, or at midnight, or when
the rooster
crows
, or in the morning ;
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
lest coming suddenly he might
find you sleeping.
And
what I say
unto
you I say
unto
all ,
Watch.
What I tell
you ,
I tell
all :
Watch. "
