Now
it happened
, while
the multitude
pressed on
him and
heard
the word of God, that
he was
standing
by the lake of Gennesaret .
And
it came
to
pass
, that,
as
the people
pressed upon
him to
hear
the word of God, he stood
by the lake of Gennesaret ,
He
saw two boats
standing by the lake ,
but the fishermen had
gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
And
saw two ships
standing by the lake :
but the fishermen were
gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
He entered into one of the boats
, which was Simon's, and asked
him to
put
out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes
from
the boat
.
And
he entered into one of the ships
, which was Simon's, and prayed
him that
he
would
thrust
out a little from the land. And
he sat down ,
and taught the people
out
of
the ship
.
When he had finished
speaking, he said to
Simon, "Put
out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch
. "
Now
when he had left
speaking, he said unto
Simon, Launch
out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught
.
Simon answered
him, "
Master, we worked
all night, and took
nothing ;
but
at your
word I will let down the net. "
And
Simon answering
said
unto
him, Master, we have
toiled
all the
night, and have
taken
nothing :
nevertheless
at thy
word I will let down the net.
When they had done
this, they caught
a great multitude of fish,
and their net was
breaking
.
And
when they had this done
, they inclosed
a great multitude of fishes:
and their net brake
.
They beckoned to
their partners in the other boat
, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats
, so that they began to sink.
And
they beckoned unto
their partners ,
which
were
in the other ship
, that they should come and help them. And
they came, and filled both the
ships
, so that they began to sink.
But
Simon Peter ,
when
he
saw it, fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "
Depart from me ,
for I am a sinful man, Lord. "
When

For he was amazed
, and all who
were with him, at the catch
of fish
which they had caught;
For he was astonished
, and all that
were with him, at the draught
of the
fishes
which they had taken:
and so also were
James and John, sons of Zebedee, who
were partners with Simon. Jesus said to
Simon, "Don't
be
afraid.
From now
on
you
will
be
catching
people
alive
. "
And so was
also James ,
and John, the
sons of Zebedee, which
were partners with Simon. And
Jesus said unto
Simon, Fear
not;
from henceforth
thou
shalt
catch
men
.
When they had brought their boats
to land, they left
everything
, and followed him.
And
when they had brought their ships
to land, they forsook
all
, and followed him.
It happened
, while
he was in one
of
the
cities
, behold ,
there
was
a man full of leprosy .
When
he
saw
Jesus ,
he
fell on his face, and begged
him, saying, "
Lord, if you
want
to
, you
can
make me clean. "
And
it came
to
pass
, when
he was in a
certain
city
, behold a man full of leprosy :
who
seeing
Jesus fell on his face, and besought
him, saying, Lord, if thou
wilt
, thou
canst
make me clean.
He stretched
out
his hand, and touched him, saying, "
I want
to.
Be made
clean. "
Immediately the leprosy left
him.
And
he put
forth
his hand, and touched him, saying, I will:
be thou
clean. And
immediately the leprosy departed
from
him.
He charged him to tell no one,
"
But go your
way
, and show
yourself
to the priest, and offer for your
cleansing according to
what
Moses commanded, for a testimony to
them. "
And

spread

Behold, men brought a paralyzed
man on
a cot,
and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus
.
And,
behold, men brought in
a bed
a
man which
was
taken
with
a palsy:
and they sought means
to bring him in ,
and
to lay him
before him
.
Not finding
a
way to
bring him in because of the multitude, they went up
to
the housetop, and let him down through the tiles
with his cot
into the midst before Jesus.
And
when
they
could
not find
by
what
way they
might
bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon

Seeing
their faith, he said to
him, "
Man, your
sins are forgiven you
. "
And
when
he
saw

.
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "
Who is this that
speaks
blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? "
And

But Jesus ,
perceiving
their thoughts, answered
them, "Why
are
you
reasoning
so
in your hearts?
But when

Which
is easier to say, 'Your
sins are
forgiven you
; '
or to say, 'Arise
and walk? '
Whether
is easier ,
to say, Thy
sins be
forgiven thee
; or to say, Rise
up
and walk?
But that you
may know that the Son of Man has
authority
on
earth to forgive sins "
(he said to
the paralyzed
man)
, "
I tell
you
, arise, and take up your
cot
, and go to
your
house. "
But that ye
may know that the Son of man hath
power
upon
earth to forgive sins ,
(he said unto
the sick
of
the
palsy
, )
I say
unto
thee
, Arise, and take up thy
couch
, and go into
thine
house.
Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which
he was
laying
on
, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
And

Amazement
took
hold
on
all, and they glorified God .
They
were filled with fear, saying, "
We have seen strange things today

After these things he went out

collector
named Levi sitting at the tax
office,
and said to
him, "
Follow me !"

him, Follow me .
He left everything
, and
rose up and followed him.
And
he left all
, rose up ,

Levi made a great feast for
him
in his house .
There was a great crowd
of tax
collectors
and others who
were
reclining
with them.
And
Levi made him
a great feast in his own
house :
and
there was a great company
of publicans
and of
others that
sat
down
with them.
Their scribes and the
Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, "
Why do you
eat and drink with the
tax
collectors
and sinners? "
But

Jesus answered
them, "Those
who
are healthy
have
no
need for
a physician ,
but those
who
are sick do
.
And
Jesus answering
said
unto
them, They
that
are whole

are sick.
I have
not come
to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. "

Why do John's
disciples often
fast and pray
, likewise also
the disciples of the Pharisees ,
but yours
eat and drink? "

they said unto
him, Why do the

eat and drink?
He said to
them, "
Can you
make the friends
of the bridegroom
fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
And
he said unto
them, Can ye
make the children
of the bridechamber
fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
But the days will come when the bridegroom will
be taken away from them .
Then they will
fast in those days. "
But the days will come ,
when the bridegroom shall
be taken away from them ,
and
then shall
they fast in those days.
He also told
a parable to
them .
"
No one
puts
a piece from
a new garment on
an old garment
, or
else
he
will
tear
the new, and also
the piece from
the new will
not match
the old.
And
he spake
also a parable unto
them ;
No man
putteth
a piece of
a new garment upon
an old ;
if
otherwise
, then
both
the new maketh
a
rent
, and the piece that
was
taken
out
of
the new agreeth
not with
the old.
No one
puts
new wine into old wineskins,
or
else the new wine will burst the skins
, and it
will
be spilled, and the skins
will
be
destroyed
.
And
no man
putteth
new wine into old bottles;
else the new wine will burst the bottles
, and be spilled, and the bottles
shall
perish
.
But new wine must be put into fresh
wineskins,
and both are preserved.
But new wine must be put into new
bottles;
and both are preserved.
No man having drunk old wine immediately
desires
new ,
for he says
, '
The old is better. '"
No man also
having drunk old wine straightway
desireth
new :
for he saith
, The old is better.
