And
he
said unto
the
disciples, `
It is impossible
for
the
stumbling blocks not
to
come, but wo
`
to him'
through whom they come ;
Jesus
said to
His
disciples, “
It is inevitable
that
stumbling blocks will
come, but woe
to the
one
through whom they come !
it is
more
profitable
to
him if
a weighty
millstone is
put
round
about
his neck ,
and he
hath
been
cast
into the sea ,
than that
he
may
cause one of these little ones to stumble.
It would
be
better
for
him to
have
a millstone hung
around
his neck and to
be
thrown
into the sea than to
cause one of these little ones to stumble.
`Take
heed
to
yourselves ,
and,
if thy
brother may
sin
in
regard
to
thee
, rebuke him ,
and if he may
reform
, forgive him ,
Watch
yourselves .
If your
brother sins
, rebuke him ;
and if he repents
, forgive him .
and
if seven times in the
day he
may
sin
against
thee
, and seven times in
the
day
may
turn
back
to thee,
saying
, I reform;
thou
shalt
forgive him. '
Even
if he
sins
against
you
seven times in a
day, and seven times returns
to say
, ‘
I repent,’
you
must
forgive him. ”
And
the apostles said to the Lord, `Add
to
us
faith ;'
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase
our
faith !”
and the Lord said
, `
If ye
had
faith as
a
grain
of mustard, ye
would
have
said
to this sycamine
, Be uprooted ,
and be
planted in the sea, and it would
have
obeyed
you.
And the Lord answered
, “
If you
have
faith the
size
of a
mustard seed
, you
can
say
to this mulberry
tree
, ‘
Be uprooted and planted in the sea, ’
and it will
obey
you.
`But,
who
is
he
of you --
having
a
servant ploughing
or feeding
--
who,
to
him
having
come
in out
of
the field ,
will say, Having
come near,
recline
at meat
?
Which
of you whose
servant comes
in
from
plowing
or shepherding
in the field will say to
him
, ‘
Come at once
and
sit
down
to
eat’
?
but
will
not
`rather'
say
to
him, Prepare what
I
may
sup,
and having
girded
thyself
about,
minister
to me ,
till
I eat and drink ,
and after
these
things
thou
shalt
eat and drink?
Instead,
won’t
he
tell
him, ‘
Prepare my
meal
and dress
yourself
to serve
me while
I eat and drink ;
and afterward
you
may
eat and drink ’
?
Hath
he favour
to
that
servant because he did the
things
directed
? I
think
not.
Does
he thank
the
servant because he did what
he
was
told
?
`
So also ye
, when ye
may
have done all
the
things
directed
you, say --
We are unprofitable
servants ,
because
that
which
we
owed
to
do
--
we have done. '
So you
also, when you
have done everything
commanded
of
you, should
say ,
‘
We are unworthy
servants ;
we have only
done our
duty
. ’”
And
it
came
to
pass,
in
his
going
on to Jerusalem, that
he passed
through
the
midst
of
Samaria and Galilee ,
While
Jesus
was
on His
way
to Jerusalem, He was
passing
between
Samaria and Galilee .
and
he entering
into
a
certain
village
, there
met him
ten leprous
men,
who
stood afar
off,
As
He entered
one
of
the
villages
, He
was
met by
ten lepers.
They
stood at
a
distance
and they
lifted
up
the
voice
, saying
, `
Jesus, master, deal
kindly
with
us ;'
and raised
their
voices
, shouting
, “
Jesus, Master, have
mercy
on
us !”
and
having
seen
`
them '
, he said to
them
, `Having
gone
on
, shew
yourselves to the priests ;'
and it
came
to
pass,
in
their going
, they were cleansed ,
When
Jesus
saw
them, He said, “Go
, show
yourselves to the priests .”
And as
they
were
on
their way
, they were cleansed .
and
one of them having
seen
that he was healed did
turn
back, with
a loud voice glorifying
God,
When
one of them saw
that he was healed ,
he
came
back, praising
God
in
a loud voice .
and
he fell upon
`his'
face
at his
feet ,
giving
thanks
to him ,
and he was a Samaritan.
He fell facedown
at Jesus’
feet in
thanksgiving
to Him —
and he was a Samaritan.
And
Jesus
answering
said,
`
Were not the
ten cleansed ,
and
the nine --
where
?
“
Were not all
ten cleansed ?”
Jesus
asked.
“Where
then
are
the other
nine?
There
were
not
found who
did
turn
back
to give glory to God ,
except
this
alien;'
Was
no
one
found except
this
foreigner
to return
and
give glory to God ?”
and
he
said to him, `Having
risen,
be
going
on,
thy
faith hath
saved
thee.'
Then
Jesus
said to him, “Rise
and
go;
your
faith has
made
you
well!”
And
having
been
questioned
by the Pharisees ,
when the reign
of God doth
come, he
answered
them,
and
said
, `
The reign
of God doth
not come with observation;
When
asked
by the Pharisees when the kingdom
of God would
come, Jesus
replied
, “
The kingdom
of God will
not come with observable
signs.
nor shall
they
say, Lo
, here ;
or
lo
, there ;
for lo
, the reign
of God is within
you
. '
Nor will
people
say, ‘Look
, here it
is
, ’
or
‘
There it
is.’
For you
see
, the kingdom
of God is in
your
midst
. ”
And
he said unto
his
disciples, `Days
will
come,
when ye
shall
desire
to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and
ye
shall
not behold
`
it ';
Then
He said to
the
disciples, “The
time
is
coming
when you
will
long
to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but
you
will
not see
it .
and
they
shall
say
to
you, Lo
, here;
or lo
, there;
ye
may
not go away,
nor
follow;
People
will
tell
you, ‘Look
, there
He
is!’
or ‘Look
, here
He
is!’
Do
not go out
or
chase
after
them.
for as the lightning that
is
lightening
out
of
the one `part'
under
heaven,
to the other part
under
heaven
doth
shine
, so shall
be also
the Son of Man in his day ;
For just
as the lightning flashes
and
lights
up
the sky
from
one end
to the other, so will
be the Son of Man in His day .
and
first it
behoveth
him
to
suffer many things ,
and to
be rejected by this generation.
But
first He
must
suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
`And,
as it came
to
pass
in the days of Noah, so shall
it be also
in the days of the Son of Man ;
Just
as it was
in the days of Noah, so also
will
it be in the days of the Son of Man :
they
were eating ,
they
were
drinking, they
were
marrying ,
they
were
given in marriage, till
the day that
Noah entered into
the ark ,
and
the deluge
came ,
and destroyed all ;
People
were eating and
drinking, marrying and
being
given in marriage, up
to
the day Noah entered the ark .
Then
the flood
came and destroyed them
all .
in
like
manner
also,
as
it came
to
pass
in the days of Lot ;
they
were eating ,
they
were
drinking, they
were
buying ,
they
were
selling, they
were
planting ,
they
were
building ;
It was
the
same
in the days of Lot :
People
were eating and
drinking, buying and
selling, planting and
building .
and
on the day Lot went
forth
from
Sodom, He
rained
fire and brimstone
from heaven ,
and destroyed all.
But
on the day Lot left
Sodom, fire and sulfur
rained
down
from heaven and destroyed them
all.
`According
to
these
things
it shall
be ,
in
the day the Son of Man is revealed ;
It will
be just
like
that
on
the day the Son of Man is revealed .
in
that day, he
who
shall
be
on the house
top,
and
his
vessels
in
the
house,
let
him
not
come down to take
them
away;
and
he
in the field ,
in
like
manner,
let
him
not
turn
backward;
On
that day, let
no
one
on the housetop
come down to retrieve
his
possessions.
Likewise,
let
no
one
in the field return
for
anything
he
has
left
behind.
remember the
wife of
Lot.
Remember Lot’s
wife !
Whoever may
seek
to save his life ,
shall
lose
it;
and
whoever
may
lose it, shall
preserve it.
Whoever tries
to save his life will
lose it, but
whoever
loses
his
life
will
preserve it.
`
I say
to
you, In
that night ,
there
shall
be
two men
on
one couch,
the
one shall
be taken ,
and the other shall
be
left ;
I tell
you, on
that night two people
will
be
in
one bed:
One will
be taken and the other left .
two women shall
be grinding at
the
same
place
together ,
the
one shall
be taken ,
and the other shall
be
left ;
Two women will
be grinding grain
together :
One will
be taken and the other left .”
two men shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.'

And
they
answering
say
to
him,
`
Where, sir
? '
and
he
said
to
them
, `Where
the
body
`
is '
, there will
the eagles
be
gathered
together
. '
“
Where, Lord
? ”
they
asked.
Jesus
answered
, “Wherever
there
is a
carcass
, there the vultures
will
gather
. ”
