it
came
to
pass
on the eighth day ,
that
Moses called
Aaron and his sons ,
and the elders of Israel ;
On the eighth day Moses summoned
Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel .
and
he said unto
Aaron, Take thee
a calf
of
the
herd
for a sin -
offering ,
and a ram for a burnt -
offering, without blemish, and offer
them before Jehovah
.
He said to
Aaron, “
Take for
yourself
a young
bull
for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both
without blemish, and present
them before the
LORD
.
And
unto
the
children
of
Israel
thou
shalt
speak ,
saying
, Take ye
a he-
goat for a sin -
offering ;
and
a calf and a lamb ,
both a year old ,
without blemish ,
for a burnt -
offering ;
Then
speak to
the
Israelites
and
say
, ‘
Take a male
goat for a sin offering ,
a calf and a lamb —
both a year old and
without blemish —
for a burnt offering ,
and
an ox and a ram for peace -offerings,
to sacrifice before Jehovah;
and a meal-
offering mingled
with oil :
for to -day
Jehovah
appeareth
unto
you.
an ox and a ram for a
peace offering
to sacrifice before the
LORD,
and a grain
offering mixed
with oil .
For today
the
LORD
will
appear
to you. ’”
And
they brought
that
which
Moses commanded before
the tent of meeting :
and all
the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah
.
So
they took
what
Moses had
commanded to
the front
of
the
Tent of Meeting ,
and the whole
congregation drew near and stood before the
LORD
.
And Moses said, This is the thing
which
Jehovah
commanded that
ye
should
do :
and
the glory of Jehovah
shall
appear unto
you.
And Moses said, “
This is what
the LORD
has
commanded you
to
do ,
so
that
the glory of the
LORD
may
appear to
you. ”
And
Moses said unto
Aaron, Draw
near
unto
the altar ,
and offer
thy
sin -
offering ,
and thy
burnt -
offering ,
and
make atonement for thyself,
and for the people ;
and offer
the
oblation
of
the people,
and
make atonement for them ;
as Jehovah
commanded.
Then
Moses said to
Aaron, “Approach
the altar and sacrifice
your
sin offering and your
burnt offering to
make atonement for yourself
and for the people .
And sacrifice
the people’s
offering
to
make atonement for them ,
as the
LORD
has
commanded. ”
So Aaron drew
near
unto
the altar ,
and slew
the calf of
the
sin -
offering ,
which
was
for himself.
So Aaron approached
the altar and slaughtered
the calf as
a
sin offering for himself.
And
the sons of Aaron presented
the blood unto
him ;
and he dipped his finger in the blood ,
and put
it upon
the horns of the altar ,
and poured out the blood at the base of the altar :
The sons of Aaron brought
the blood to
him ,
and he dipped his finger in the blood and applied
it to
the horns of the altar .
And he
poured out the rest
of
the
blood at the base of the altar .
but
the fat, and
the kidneys, and the caul
from
the liver of
the sin -
offering, he
burnt
upon
the
altar;
as Jehovah
commanded Moses.
On
the altar
he
burned
the
fat, the kidneys, and the lobe
of
the liver from
the sin offering, as the
LORD
had
commanded Moses.
And
the flesh and the skin
he
burnt
with
fire
without
the camp.
But
he
burned
up
the flesh and the hide
outside
the camp.
And
he
slew
the burnt -
offering ;
and
Aaron's
sons delivered
unto
him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon
the altar round
about
.
Then
Aaron
slaughtered
the burnt offering .
His
sons brought
him the blood, and he sprinkled it on
all
sides
of
the altar.
And
they delivered
the burnt -
offering unto
him,
piece by piece, and
the head :
and he burnt
them upon
the altar.
They brought
him
the burnt offering piece by piece, including
the head ,
and he burned
them on
the altar.
And
he washed the inwards
and the legs ,
and burnt
them upon
the burnt -
offering on the altar.
He washed the entrails
and the legs and burned
them atop
the burnt offering on the altar.
And
he
presented the people's
oblation,
and
took the goat of
the sin -
offering which
was
for
the
people
, and
slew
it, and offered it for sin ,
as
the first.
Aaron
then
presented the people’s
offering.
He
took the male
goat for
the people’s
sin offering, slaughtered
it, and offered it for sin like
the first one
.
And
he presented the burnt -
offering ,
and offered it according to the ordinance.
He presented the burnt offering and offered it according to the ordinance.
And
he presented the meal-
offering, and
filled
his
hand
therefrom
, and burnt
it upon
the altar ,
besides
the burnt -
offering of
the
morning
.
Next
he presented the grain
offering, took
a
handful
of
it
, and burned
it on
the altar in
addition
to
the morning’s
burnt offering.
He slew
also
the ox and the ram ,
the sacrifice
of
peace -offerings,
which
was
for
the
people:
and
Aaron's
sons delivered
unto
him the blood, which
he sprinkled upon
the altar round
about,
Then
he slaughtered
the ox and the ram as
the people’s
peace offering.
His
sons brought
him the blood, and
he sprinkled it
on
all
sides
of
the altar .
and
the fat of
the ox and of
the ram ,
the fat tail, and
that
which
covereth
`
the inwards'
, and
the kidneys, and the caul
of the liver :
They
also
brought
the fat portions
from
the ox and the ram —
the fat tail, the fat
covering
the
entrails
, the kidneys, and the lobe
of the liver —
and they
put
the
fat
upon
the breasts ,
and
he
burnt
the fat upon
the altar :
and placed
these
on
the breasts .
Aaron
burned
the fat portions
on
the altar ,
and
the breasts and the right thigh Aaron
waved
for
a wave -
offering before Jehovah;
as Moses commanded.
but
he
waved
the breasts and the right thigh as
a wave offering before the
LORD,
as Moses had
commanded.
And
Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people ,
and blessed them ;
and he
came
down
from
offering
the sin -
offering, and
the burnt -
offering, and the peace -offerings
.
Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them .
And having
made
the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering,
he
stepped
down
.
And
Moses and Aaron went
into
the tent of meeting ,
and
came out, and
blessed the people :
and the glory of Jehovah
appeared unto
all the people.
Moses and Aaron then
entered
the Tent of Meeting .
When
they
came out, they
blessed the people ,
and the glory of the
LORD
appeared to
all the people.
And
there
came
forth
fire from before
Jehovah,
and consumed upon
the altar
the
burnt -
offering and the fat :
and when all the people saw it, they shouted ,
and fell on
their
faces
.
Fire came
out
from the
presence
of
the
LORD
and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions
on
the
altar.
And when all the people saw it, they shouted for
joy
and fell facedown
.
