Yahweh
spoke
to Moses, saying,
Then
the
LORD
said
to Moses,
"
Take Aaron and his sons with
him
, and
the
garments, and
the anointing oil, and
the bull of the sin offering, and
the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread ;
“
Take Aaron and his sons, their
garments, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread ,
and assemble all
the congregation at the door
of
the Tent of Meeting. "
and assemble the whole
congregation at the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting. ”
Moses did as Yahweh
commanded him ;
and the congregation
was
assembled
at the door
of
the Tent of Meeting.
So
Moses did as the
LORD
had
commanded him ,
and the assembly
gathered
at the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting.
Moses said to the
congregation
, "
This is the thing
which
Yahweh
has commanded to be done. "
And
Moses said to them
, “
This is what
the LORD
has commanded to be done. ”
Moses brought
Aaron and his sons ,
and washed them with water.
Then
Moses presented
Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
He put the coat
on him
, tied the sash on
him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him ,
and
he tied the skillfully
woven band of the ephod on
him ,
and fastened it to him with
it
.
He put the tunic
on Aaron
, tied the sash around
him, clothed him with the robe, and
put the ephod on him .
He tied the woven band of the ephod around
him and fastened it to him.
He placed
the breastplate
on him ;
and in
the
breastplate
he
put
the Urim and the
Thummim.
Then
he put
the breastpiece
on him and placed
the Urim and Thummim in
the
breastpiece
.
He
set
the turban on his
head ;
and on
the
turban,
in
front,
he
set the golden
plate, the holy crown;
as Yahweh
commanded Moses
.
Moses
also
put
the turban on Aaron’s
head and set the gold
plate, the holy diadem,
on
the
front
of
the
turban,
as the
LORD
had
commanded him
.
Moses took the anointing oil ,
and anointed the tabernacle and all
that
was
in it ,
and sanctified
them.
Next,
Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything
in it ;
and so
he
consecrated
them.
He sprinkled it
on the altar seven times, and
anointed
the altar and all its vessels
, and the basin and
its base
, to sanctify
them.
He sprinkled some
of
the
oil
on the altar seven times, anointing
the altar and all its utensils
, and the basin with
its stand
, to consecrate
them.
He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's
head ,
and anointed him ,
to sanctify
him.
He also
poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s
head and anointed him to consecrate
him.
Moses brought
Aaron's
sons, and
clothed
them with
coats
, and
tied
sashes on
them, and put
headbands on them ;
as Yahweh
commanded Moses
.
Then
Moses presented
Aaron’s
sons, put
tunics
on
them, wrapped
sashes around
them, and tied
headbands on them ,
just
as the
LORD
had
commanded him
.
He
brought the bull of
the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the
head of
the
bull
of
the
sin
offering
.
Moses
then
brought the bull near
for
the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its
head.
He
killed
it;
and
Moses took the blood, and put
it on
the
horns of the altar round
about
with
his
finger
, and
purified
the altar ,
and
poured out the blood at the base of the altar ,
and sanctified
it ,
to
make
atonement for
it.
Moses slaughtered
the
bull,
took some
of
the blood, and applied
it with
his
finger
to
all
four
horns of the altar, purifying
the altar .
He
poured out the rest
of
the
blood at the base of the altar and consecrated
it so
that
atonement could
be
made
on
it.
He
took all the fat that was on the innards
, and
the cover
of the liver, and the
two
kidneys ,
and their fat ;
and Moses
burned it on the altar.
Moses
also
took all the fat that was on the entrails
, the lobe
of the liver, and both
kidneys and their fat ,
and burned it all
on the altar.
But the bull ,
and
its skin
, and
its
flesh, and its
dung ,
he burned with
fire
outside the camp ;
as Yahweh
commanded Moses
.
But the bull with
its hide
, flesh, and dung he burned outside the camp ,
as the
LORD
had
commanded him
.
He
presented the ram of
the burnt offering :
and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the
head of
the
ram
.
Then
Moses
presented the ram for
the burnt offering ,
and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its
head.
He
killed
it;
and
Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round
about
.
Moses slaughtered
the
ram
and
sprinkled the blood on all
sides
of
the altar.
He cut the ram into its
pieces ;
and Moses
burned the head, and
the pieces, and the fat.
He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.
He washed the innards
and the
legs with water ;
and Moses
burned the whole
ram on the altar .
It
was
a burnt offering for
a sweet
savor.
It
was
an offering made by fire to Yahweh;
as Yahweh
commanded Moses.
He washed the entrails
and legs with water and burned the entire
ram on the altar as
a burnt offering ,
a pleasing
aroma,
an offering made by fire to the
LORD,
just
as the
LORD
had
commanded Moses.
He
presented the other ram, the ram of consecration:
and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the
head of
the
ram
.
After
that,
Moses
presented the other ram, the ram of ordination,
and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its
head.
He
killed
it;
and
Moses took some of its blood ,
and put it on the
tip
of
Aaron's
right ear
, and
on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great
toe of his right foot.
Moses slaughtered
the
ram
and
took some of its blood and put it on Aaron’s
right earlobe
, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big
toe of his right foot.
He
brought
Aaron's
sons ;
and Moses
put some of the blood on the
tip
of
their right ear
, and
on the thumb
of their right hand
, and on the great
toe
of their right foot;
and
Moses
sprinkled the blood on the altar round
about
.
Moses
also
presented
Aaron’s
sons and put some of the blood on their right earlobes
, on the thumbs
of their right hands
, and on the big
toes
of their right feet.
Then
he
sprinkled the blood on all
sides
of
the altar.
He
took the fat ,
and
the fat tail, and
all the fat that was on the innards
, and
the cover
of the liver, and the
two
kidneys ,
and
their fat ,
and
the right thigh ;
And
Moses
took the fat —
the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails
, the lobe
of the liver, and both
kidneys with
their fat —as
well
as
the right thigh .
and out
of
the basket of unleavened bread ,
that was before Yahweh
, he took one unleavened
cake, and
one cake of oiled
bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat ,
and on the right thigh.
And from
the basket of unleavened bread that was before the
LORD
, he took one cake of
unleavened
bread
, one cake of bread made
with
oil
, and one wafer, and he
placed them on the fat portions
and on the right thigh.
He put all these in Aaron's
hands and in
his sons '
hands,
and waved them for
a wave offering before
Yahweh
.
He put all these in the
hands of
Aaron
and his sons and waved them before
the
LORD
as
a wave offering.
Moses took them
from their hands ,
and burned them on the altar on
the burnt offering. They
were
a
consecration
for
a
sweet
savor.
It
was an offering made by fire to Yahweh
.
Then
Moses took these
from their hands and burned them on the altar with
the burnt offering. This
was an ordination
offering ,
a
pleasing
aroma,
an
offering
made by fire to the
LORD
.
Moses
took the breast ,
and
waved
it
for
a
wave
offering
before
Yahweh.
It
was
Moses '
portion of the ram of consecration
, as Yahweh
commanded Moses
.
He
also
took the breast —
Moses ’
portion of the ram of ordination—and
waved
it
before
the
LORD
as
a
wave
offering
, as the
LORD
had
commanded him
.
Moses took some of the anointing oil ,
and some of the blood which
was on the altar ,
and sprinkled it
on Aaron ,
on
his garments, and on his sons ,
and on
his
sons'
garments with
him,
and
sanctified
Aaron ,
his garments, and
his
sons ,
and his
sons'
garments with
him
.
Next,
Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that
was on the altar and sprinkled them
on Aaron and
his garments, and on his sons and their
garments .
So
he
consecrated
Aaron and
his garments, as
well
as
Aaron’s
sons and their
garments.
Moses said to Aaron and to
his sons, "
Boil the flesh
at the door
of
the Tent of Meeting ,
and there
eat it and
the bread that is in the basket of consecration
, as I commanded, saying, '
Aaron and his sons shall
eat it. '
And
Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “
Boil the meat
at the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting and eat it there
with
the bread that is in the basket of ordination
offerings
, as I commanded, saying, ‘
Aaron and his sons are
to
eat it. ’
What
remains
of
the flesh
and
of the bread you
shall
burn
with
fire
.
Then
you
must
burn
up
the remainder
of the meat
and
bread.
You shall
not go out
from
the door
of
the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration
are fulfilled:
for he
shall
consecrate
you
seven days.
You must
not go outside
the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting for
seven days, until the days of your ordination
are complete;
for it
will
take
seven days to
ordain
you
.
What has been done this
day,
so
Yahweh
has commanded to
do,
to make atonement for
you
.
What has been done today
has been
commanded by
the
LORD
in
order
to make atonement on
your
behalf
.
At the door
of
the Tent of Meeting you
shall
stay
day and night seven days ,
and keep the charge of
Yahweh,
that you don't
die :
for so
I am
commanded. "
You
must
remain
at the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting day and night for
seven days and keep the LORD’s
charge so
that you will
not
die ,
for this
is
what
I have
been
commanded. ”
Aaron and his sons did all
the things
which
Yahweh
commanded by
Moses.
So
Aaron and his sons did everything
the LORD
had
commanded through
Moses.
