Then
the
LORD
said
to Moses,
Yahweh
spoke
to Moses, saying,
“
Command the Israelites
to
bring you pure oil of
pressed
olives
for the light, to keep
the
lamps
burning
continually.
"
Command the children
of
Israel,
that
they
bring to
you pure olive
oil beaten
for the light, to cause
a
lamp
to
burn
continually.
Outside the veil of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is
to
tend
the
lamps
continually
before
the
LORD
from evening until
morning.
This
is
to be a permanent
statute for
the
generations to
come
.
Outside of
the veil of the Testimony ,
in the Tent of Meeting, shall
Aaron keep
it
in
order
from evening to morning
before
Yahweh
continually:
it
shall
be a statute forever
throughout
your
generations.
He shall tend
the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the
LORD
continually.
He shall keep
in
order
the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before Yahweh
continually.
You are
also
to
take fine flour and bake twelve loaves,
using
two -tenths
of an ephah for
each
loaf,
"
You shall
take fine flour ,
and bake twelve cakes
of
it:
two tenth
parts
of an ephah shall
be
in
one
cake.
and
set them in two rows —
six per
row —
on the table
of
pure gold before the
LORD
.
You
shall
set them in two rows ,
six on
a
row ,
on the pure gold table
before Yahweh
.
And
you are
to
place
pure frankincense near
each row, so
that it may serve
as
a
memorial
portion
for
the bread, an offering made by fire to the
LORD
.
You shall
put
pure frankincense on
each row, that it may be
to
the bread for
a
memorial
, even
an offering made by fire to Yahweh
.
Every Sabbath day the
bread
is
to
be
set out
before the
LORD
on behalf of the Israelites
as
a
permanent
covenant.
Every Sabbath day he
shall
set it
in
order
before Yahweh
continually.
It
is
on the
behalf of the children
of
Israel
an
everlasting
covenant.
It belongs
to
Aaron and his sons ,
who
are
to
eat it in a holy place ;
for it is to
him
a
most holy part
of the offerings made by fire to
the
LORD—his
portion
forever
. ”
It shall
be
for
Aaron and his sons ;
and
they
shall
eat it in a holy place :
for it is most holy to
him
of the offerings of
Yahweh
made by fire by
a
perpetual
statute
. "
Now
the son of an Israelite mother
and
an Egyptian father
went out among the Israelites,
and a fight
broke
out
in the camp between
him
and
an
Israelite
.
The son of an Israelite woman,
whose
father
was
an Egyptian ,
went out among the children
of
Israel;
and the
son
of
the
Israelite
woman
and
a man
of
Israel
strove
together
in the camp.
The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with
a
curse.
So
they brought him to Moses. (
His mother’s
name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. )
The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name ,
and
cursed;
and
they brought him to Moses. His mother's
name was Shelomith ,
the
daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
They placed
him in custody until the will of the
LORD
should be made
clear
to them.
They put
him in custody ,
until the will of Yahweh
should be declared
to them.
Then
the
LORD
said
to Moses,
Yahweh
spoke
to Moses, saying,
“Take
the
blasphemer
outside
the camp ,
and have
all who heard him lay their hands on his head ;
then
have
the whole
assembly
stone him.
"Bring
out
of
the camp him
who
cursed;
and let
all who heard him lay their hands on his head ,
and
let
all
the congregation
stone him.
And
you are
to tell
the Israelites
, ‘If
anyone
curses his God ,
he
shall bear the
consequences
of
his sin.
You shall
speak
to the children
of
Israel
, saying,
'Whoever
curses his God shall bear his sin.
Whoever
blasphemes the name of the
LORD
must
surely be put to death; the whole
assembly
must
surely
stone him ,
whether
he
is
a
foreign
resident
or
native ;
if
he blasphemes the Name, he
must
be put to death.
He
who
blasphemes the name of Yahweh,
he
shall
surely be put to death; all
the congregation
shall
certainly
stone him :
the
foreigner
as
well
as
the
native -born,
when
he blasphemes the Name, shall
be put to death.
And
if
a
man
takes
the
life
of
anyone
else,
he must
surely be put to death.
"'
He who
strikes
any
man
mortally
shall
surely be put to death.
Whoever
kills
an
animal must
make restitution—
life for life.
He
who
strikes
a
animal mortally
shall
make it
good,
life for life.
If anyone injures his neighbor ,
whatever
he has done must
be done to him:
If anyone injures his neighbor ;
as
he has done ,
so
shall
it
be done to him:
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth .
Just
as he injured the
other
person
, the
same
must
be inflicted
on
him.
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth ;
as he has
injured someone
, so
shall
it
be done
to
him.
Whoever
kills an animal must
make restitution,
but
whoever
kills a man must
be put to death.
He
who
kills an animal shall
make it
good;
and
he
who
kills a man shall
be put to death.
You are
to
have the
same
standard
of law for the foreign
resident
and
the native ;
for I am the
LORD
your God. ’”
You shall
have one
kind
of law ,
for the foreigner
as
well
as
the native -born:
for I am Yahweh
your God. '"
Then
Moses spoke to the Israelites,
and they took
the
blasphemer
outside
the camp and stoned him. So
the Israelites
did as the
LORD
had
commanded Moses.
Moses spoke to the children
of
Israel;
and they brought
forth
him
who
had
cursed
out
of
the camp ,
and stoned him with
stones
. The children
of
Israel
did as Yahweh
commanded Moses.
