King James Version
Then
the LORD said
to
Moses,
And
the LORD spake
unto
Moses, saying,
“
Speak to
the Israelites
and say to
them, ‘These
are
My
appointed
feasts,
the feasts of the LORD that
you
are
to
proclaim as
sacred
assemblies
.
Speak unto
the children
of
Israel,
and say unto
them, Concerning
the feasts of the LORD ,
which
ye
shall
proclaim to
be
holy
convocations,
even
these
are
my
feasts
.
For
six days work may
be done ,
but the seventh day is a
Sabbath of complete
rest, a
day
of
sacred
assembly.
You
must
not
do any
work ;
wherever
you
live,
it is a
Sabbath to
the LORD.
Six days shall
work be done :
but the seventh day is the
sabbath of rest, an
holy
convocation;
ye
shall
do no
work therein:
it is the
sabbath of
the LORD in
all
your
dwellings
.
These are the LORD’s
appointed
feasts ,
the sacred
assemblies
you
are
to
proclaim at
their appointed
times
.
These are the feasts of
the LORD,
even
holy
convocations,
which
ye
shall
proclaim in
their seasons
.
The
Passover
to
the
LORD
begins
at
twilight
on
the fourteenth day of the first month.
In
the fourteenth day of the first month at
even
is
the
LORD's
passover
.
On the fifteenth day of the same month begins
the Feast of Unleavened Bread to
the LORD .
For
seven days you
must eat unleavened bread.
And
on the fifteenth day of the same month is
the feast of unleavened bread unto
the LORD :
seven days ye
must eat unleavened bread.
On
the first day you
are
to
hold
a
sacred
assembly;
you
are
not
to
do any
regular
work.
In
the first day ye
shall
have
an
holy
convocation:
ye
shall
do no
servile
work therein
.
For
seven
days
you
are
to
present
an offering made by fire to
the LORD .
On
the seventh day there
shall be
a
sacred
assembly;
you
must
not
do any
regular
work. ’”
But
ye
shall
offer
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD seven
days:
in
the seventh day is
an
holy
convocation:
ye
shall do no
servile
work therein
.
And the LORD said
to
Moses,
And the LORD spake
unto
Moses, saying,
“
Speak to
the Israelites
and say, ‘
When you
enter
the land that
I am
giving
you and you
reap its
harvest, you
are
to
bring to
the
priest
a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest .
Speak unto
the children
of
Israel,
and say unto
them
, When ye
be
come
into
the land which
I give
unto
you ,
and shall
reap the
harvest thereof
, then
ye
shall
bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto
the
priest:
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD so
that
it
may
be accepted on
your
behalf;
the
priest
is
to
wave
it
on the day
after the Sabbath.
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD ,
to
be accepted for
you:
on the morrow
after the sabbath the
priest
shall
wave
it
.
On
the
day you
wave the sheaf ,
you
shall
offer
a
year-old
lamb without blemish as
a burnt offering to
the LORD ,
And
ye
shall
offer
that
day when
ye
wave the sheaf an
he
lamb without blemish of
the
first
year
for
a burnt offering unto
the LORD .
along
with
its
grain
offering of
two -tenths
of
an
ephah
of fine flour mixed
with oil —
an offering made by fire to
the LORD ,
a pleasing
aroma—
and its
drink offering of
a
quarter
hin
of wine.
And
the
meat
offering thereof
shall
be
two tenth
deals
of fine flour mingled
with oil ,
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD for
a sweet
savor:
and the
drink offering thereof
shall
be
of wine ,
the
fourth
part
of
an
hin
.
You
must
not
eat any
bread or
roasted
or
new
grain
until the very
day you
have brought this
offering to
your God .
This
is
to
be a permanent
statute for the
generations to
come,
wherever
you
live
.
And
ye
shall
eat neither
bread ,
nor
parched
corn,
nor
green
ears,
until the selfsame
day that
ye
have brought an
offering unto
your God :
it
shall
be a statute for ever
throughout
your
generations in
all
your
dwellings
.
From the day
after the Sabbath, the day you
brought the sheaf of the wave offering ,
you
are
to
count
off
seven full
weeks.
And
ye
shall
count
unto
you
from the morrow
after the sabbath, from
the day that
ye
brought the sheaf of the wave offering ;
seven sabbaths
shall
be
complete:
You
shall
count
off
fifty
days
until
the day
after the seventh Sabbath ,
and then
present
an
offering
of
new grain
to
the LORD.
Even
unto
the morrow
after the seventh sabbath shall
ye
number
fifty
days;
and ye
shall
offer
a
new meat
offering
unto
the LORD.
Bring two
loaves
of bread
from
your dwellings
as
a
wave
offering,
each
made
from
two -tenths
of an
ephah
of fine flour ,
baked with leaven ,
as
the firstfruits to
the LORD.
Ye
shall
bring out
of your habitations
two wave
loaves
of two
tenth
deals;
they
shall
be
of fine flour ;
they
shall
be
baked with leaven ;
they
are
the firstfruits unto
the LORD.
Along
with the bread you
are
to
present
seven unblemished
male
lambs a
year old
, one young bull
, and two rams .
They will
be a burnt offering to
the LORD, together
with their grain
offerings
and drink offerings —
an offering made by fire, a
pleasing
aroma
to
the LORD.
And
ye
shall
offer
with the bread seven lambs without
blemish
of
the
first
year, and
one young bullock
, and two rams :
they shall
be for
a burnt offering unto
the LORD, with their meat
offering,
and their
drink offerings ,
even
an offering made by fire, of
sweet
savor
unto
the LORD.
You
shall also
prepare
one male
goat
as
a sin offering and two male
lambs a
year old
as
a peace offering
.
Then
ye
shall sacrifice
one kid
of
the
goats
for
a sin offering ,
and two lambs of
the
first
year for
a sacrifice
of
peace offerings
.
The priest is
to
wave the lambs
as
a wave offering before the LORD, together
with the bread
of
the
firstfruits.
The
bread
and
the
two lambs shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
And
the priest shall
wave them
with
the bread
of
the
firstfruits
for
a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs :
they
shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
On that
same
day you
are
to
proclaim
a
sacred
assembly
, and
you must
not
do any
regular
work .
This
is
to
be a permanent
statute wherever
you
live
for the
generations to
come
.
And
ye
shall
proclaim
on the
selfsame
day, that
it
may
be
an
holy
convocation
unto
you :
ye
shall
do no
servile
work therein:
it
shall
be a statute for ever
in
all
your
dwellings
throughout
your
generations.
When you
reap the harvest of your land, do
not reap
all
the
way
to
the edges
of your
field or
gather the
gleanings
of your
harvest .
Leave them for
the poor and the foreign
resident.
I am the LORD your God. ’”
And
when ye
reap the harvest of your land, thou
shalt
not make
clean
riddance
of
the corners
of thy
field when
thou
reapest,
neither
shalt
thou
gather any
gleaning
of thy
harvest :
thou
shalt
leave them unto
the poor ,
and to
the stranger:
I am the LORD your God.
The LORD also
said
to
Moses,
And
the LORD spake
unto
Moses, saying,
“
Speak to
the Israelites
and
say
, ‘On
the first day of the seventh
month you
are
to
have a day
of
rest
, a sacred
assembly
announced
by
trumpet
blasts
.
Speak unto
the children
of
Israel
, saying,
In
the seventh
month,
in
the
first day of the month ,
shall
ye
have a sabbath
, a memorial
of
blowing
of
trumpets,
an
holy
convocation
.
You
must
not
do any
regular
work ,
but you
are
to
present
an offering made by fire to
the LORD. ’”
Ye
shall
do no
servile
work therein:
but ye
shall
offer
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
Again
the LORD said
to
Moses,
And
the LORD spake
unto
Moses, saying,
“
The tenth day of this seventh month is
the
Day of Atonement .
You
shall hold
a
sacred
assembly
and humble
yourselves
, and present
an offering made by fire to
the LORD.
Also
on
the tenth day of this seventh month there
shall
be
a
day of atonement :
it
shall be
an
holy
convocation
unto
you;
and ye
shall
afflict
your
souls
, and offer
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
On
this
day
you
are
not
to
do any
work ,
for it is the
Day of Atonement, when
atonement is
made
for you before the LORD your God.
And
ye
shall
do no
work in
that
same
day:
for it is a
day of atonement, to
make
an
atonement for you before the LORD your God.
If
anyone
does
not humble
himself
on
this
day, he must
be cut off from his people.
For
whatsoever
soul
it
be
that
shall
not be
afflicted
in
that
same
day, he shall
be cut off from among
his people.
I
will destroy from among his people anyone
who
does
any
work
on
this
day
.
And
whatsoever
soul
it
be
that
doeth
any
work
in
that
same
day,
the
same
soul
will I
destroy from among his people.
You
are
not
to
do any
work at
all.
This
is
a permanent
statute for the
generations to
come,
wherever
you
live
.
Ye
shall
do no
manner
of
work :
it
shall
be
a statute for ever
throughout
your
generations in
all
your
dwellings
.
It will
be a Sabbath of complete
rest for
you
, and you
shall humble
yourselves.
From
the
evening
of
the ninth day of the month until
the
following
evening
you
are
to
keep
your Sabbath. ”
It shall
be unto
you
a sabbath of rest, and ye
shall afflict
your
souls:
in
the ninth day of the month at
even,
from
even
unto
even,
shall
ye
celebrate
your sabbath.
And the LORD said
to
Moses,
And the LORD spake
unto
Moses, saying,
“
Speak to
the Israelites
and
say
, ‘On
the fifteenth day of the
seventh month the Feast of Tabernacles to
the
LORD
begins,
and
it
continues
for seven days.
Speak unto
the children
of
Israel
, saying,
The fifteenth day of this
seventh month shall
be
the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto
the
LORD
.
On the first day there
shall be a
sacred
assembly.
You
must
not
do any
regular
work.
On the first day shall be an
holy
convocation:
ye
shall
do no
servile
work therein
.
For
seven days you
are
to
present
an offering made by fire to
the LORD .
On the eighth day you are
to
hold
a
sacred
assembly
and present
an offering made by fire to
the LORD .
It is a solemn assembly; you
must
not
do any
regular
work.
Seven days ye
shall
offer
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD :
on the eighth day shall
be
an
holy
convocation
unto
you ;
and ye
shall
offer
an offering made by fire unto
the LORD :
it is a solemn assembly; and
ye
shall
do no
servile
work therein
.
These are the LORD’s
appointed
feasts, which you
are
to
proclaim as
sacred
assemblies
for
presenting
offerings
by fire to
the LORD —
burnt offerings
and grain
offerings
, sacrifices
and drink offerings, each
on
its
designated
day .
These are the feasts of
the
LORD
, which ye
shall
proclaim to
be
holy
convocations,
to
offer
an
offering
made
by fire unto
the LORD ,
a
burnt offering,
and a
meat
offering
, a
sacrifice,
and drink offerings, every
thing
upon
his
day :
These
offerings
are
in
addition
to
the
offerings
for
the LORD’s
Sabbaths, and in
addition
to
your gifts, to
all your vow
offerings
, and to
all the
freewill offerings you
give to
the LORD.
Beside
the sabbaths of
the
LORD
, and beside
your gifts, and
beside
all your vows
, and beside
all your
freewill offerings ,
which
ye
give unto
the LORD.
On
the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after
you
have gathered the produce
of the land, you
are
to
celebrate
a feast to
the LORD for
seven days .
There
shall
be
complete
rest
on the first day and also
on the eighth day.
Also
in
the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when
ye
have gathered in
the fruit
of the land, ye
shall
keep
a feast unto
the LORD seven days :
on the first day shall
be
a
sabbath,
and on the eighth day shall
be
a
sabbath
.
On the first day you
are
to
gather
the fruit
of majestic
trees, the
branches of palm trees, and the boughs of leafy
trees and of
willows of the brook .
And you
are
to
rejoice before the LORD your God for
seven days.
And
ye
shall
take
you
on the first day the boughs
of goodly
trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick
trees ,
and willows of the brook ;
and ye
shall
rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
You
are
to
celebrate
this
as
a feast to
the LORD for
seven days each
year. This
is
a permanent
statute for the
generations to
come;
you
are
to
celebrate it in the seventh month.
And
ye
shall
keep
it
a feast unto
the LORD seven days in
the
year. It
shall
be
a statute for ever
in
your
generations :
ye
shall
celebrate it in the seventh month.
You
are
to
dwell in booths for
seven days .
All the
native-
born of
Israel
must
dwell in booths ,
Ye
shall
dwell in booths seven days ;
all that
are
Israelites
born shall
dwell in booths :
so
that your descendants
may know that I made the Israelites
dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt .
I am the LORD your God. ’”
That your generations
may know that I made the children
of
Israel
to
dwell in booths ,
when I brought them out of the land of Egypt :
I am the LORD your God.
So
Moses announced
to
the Israelites
the appointed
feasts of the LORD.
And
Moses declared
unto
the children
of
Israel
the feasts of the LORD.
