And
Jehovah
called unto
Moses ,
and spake
unto
him out
of
the tent of meeting, saying,
Then
the
LORD
called to
Moses and spoke
to
him from
the Tent of Meeting, saying,
Speak unto
the children
of
Israel,
and say
unto
them ,
When any man
of you offereth
an oblation
unto
Jehovah,
ye
shall
offer
your
oblation
of
the cattle
, `even'
of
the herd and
of
the flock.
“
Speak to
the Israelites
and tell
them :
When any of you brings
an offering
to
the LORD
, you
may
bring
as
your
offering
an
animal
from
the herd or
the flock.
If his
oblation
be
a burnt -
offering of
the herd, he shall
offer
it
a
male without
blemish:
he shall
offer
it at
the door
of
the tent of meeting ,
that
he
may
be
accepted
before Jehovah
.
If one’s
offering
is
a burnt offering from
the herd, he is
to
present
an
unblemished
male .
He must
bring
it to
the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting for
its
acceptance
before the
LORD
.
And
he shall
lay his hand upon
the head of the burnt -
offering ;
and
it shall
be accepted for
him
to make atonement for him.
He is
to
lay his hand on
the head of the burnt offering ,
so
it can
be accepted on
his
behalf
to make atonement for him.
And he shall kill
the bullock
before Jehovah:
and Aaron's
sons ,
the priests ,
shall
present the blood ,
and sprinkle the
blood
round
about
upon
the altar that
is
at the door
of
the tent of meeting.
And he shall slaughter
the young
bull
before the
LORD,
and Aaron’s
sons the priests are
to
present the blood and sprinkle it
on
all
sides
of
the altar at the entrance
to
the Tent of Meeting.
And
he shall
flay
the burnt -
offering ,
and cut it into its
pieces.
Next,
he is
to
skin
the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
And
the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon
the altar ,
and lay
wood in
order
upon
the fire ;
The sons of Aaron the priest shall put a
fire on
the altar and arrange
wood on
the fire .
and
Aaron's
sons ,
the priests ,
shall
lay
the pieces, the head ,
and the fat, in
order
upon
the wood that
is
on the fire
which
is
upon
the
altar :
Then
Aaron’s
sons the priests are
to
arrange
the pieces, including
the head and the fat, atop
the burning
wood on the altar .
but
its
inwards
and its
legs shall
he
wash
with water :
and the priest shall burn the
whole
on the altar ,
for
a burnt -
offering, an offering made by fire, of
a sweet
savor
unto
Jehovah
.
The
entrails
and legs must
be
washed
with water ,
and the priest shall burn all
of
it
on the altar as
a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma
to
the
LORD
.
And
if his
oblation
be
of
the flock ,
of
the sheep ,
or of
the
goats ,
for
a
burnt-offering;
he shall
offer
it
a
male without
blemish
.
If ,
however,
one’s
offering
is
a
burnt
offering
from
the flock —from
the sheep or goats —
he is
to
present
an
unblemished
male.
And
he shall kill
it on the side of the altar northward
before Jehovah:
and Aaron's
sons ,
the priests ,
shall
sprinkle its blood upon
the altar round
about
.
He shall slaughter
it on the north
side of the altar before the
LORD,
and Aaron’s
sons the priests are
to
sprinkle its blood against
the altar on
all
sides
.
And
he shall
cut it
into its
pieces, with
its
head
and its
fat;
and
the priest shall lay
them in
order
on
the wood that is on the fire
which
is
upon
the
altar :
He is
to
cut the
animal
into pieces, and the priest shall arrange
them ,
including
the head
and
fat,
atop
the
burning
wood that is on the altar .
but
the inwards
and the
legs shall
he
wash
with water ;
and the priest shall offer
the
whole,
and burn it upon
the altar :
it is a burnt -
offering, an offering made by fire, of
a sweet
savor
unto
Jehovah
.
The entrails
and legs must
be
washed
with water ,
and the priest shall bring
all
of
it
and burn it on
the altar ;
it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma
to
the
LORD
.
And
if his
oblation
to Jehovah
be
a burnt -
offering of birds, then
he shall
offer
his
oblation
of
turtle-doves,
or of
young pigeons
.
If ,
instead,
one’s
offering
to the
LORD
is
a burnt offering of birds, he is
to
present
a
turtledove
or a
young pigeon
.
And
the priest shall bring it unto
the altar, and
wring
off its head, and burn it on the altar; and
the
blood thereof
shall
be drained out on the side of the altar ;
Then
the priest shall bring it to
the altar, twist
off its head, and burn it on the altar; its
blood should
be drained out on the side of the altar .
and he shall
take
away
its
crop with the
filth
thereof,
and cast
it beside
the
altar
on
the east part
, in the place of
the
ashes :
And he is
to
remove
the
crop with its
contents
and throw
it to
the east side
of
the
altar
, in the place for
ashes .
and
he shall rend
it by the
wings thereof
, `but'
shall
not
divide
it
asunder;
and the priest shall
burn it upon
the altar ,
upon
the wood that
is
upon
the
fire:
it is a burnt -
offering, an offering made by fire, of
a sweet
savor
unto
Jehovah
.
He shall tear
it open
by its
wings, without
dividing
the
bird
completely.
And the priest is
to
burn it on
the altar atop
the burning
wood .
It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma
to
the
LORD
.
