These things spake
Jesus;
and
lifting
up his eyes to heaven ,
he
said, Father, the hour is
come ;
glorify thy
Son, that the
son may glorify thee:
When
Jesus
had
spoken
these things ,
He
lifted
up His eyes to heaven and
said, “
Father, the hour has
come .
Glorify Your
Son, that Your
Son may glorify You.
even
as
thou
gavest
him authority over all flesh
, that to
all
whom
thou
hast
given
him,
he should
give eternal life.
For
You
granted
Him authority over all people
, so
that He may
give eternal life to
all
those
You
have
given
Him
.
And
this is life
eternal, that they should
know thee
the only true God, and him
whom
thou
didst
send,
`even'
Jesus Christ.
Now
this is eternal life
, that they may
know You,
the only true God, and Jesus Christ ,
whom
You
have
sent
.
I glorified thee
on the
earth ,
having
accomplished
the work which
thou
hast
given
me to do.
I have
glorified You
on earth by
accomplishing
the work You
gave
Me to do.
And now, Father, glorify thou
me with
thine
own
self
with the glory which
I had with thee
before the world was
.
And now, Father, glorify Me in
Your
presence
with the glory I had with You
before the world existed
.
I manifested
thy
name unto
the
men
whom
thou
gavest
me out of the world :
thine
they were ,
and
thou
gavest
them to me ;
and they have kept thy
word.
I have
revealed
Your
name to
those
You
have
given
Me out of the world .
They were Yours;
You
gave
them to Me ,
and they have kept Your
word.
Now they know that all
things
whatsoever
thou
hast
given me are
from thee:
Now they know that everything
You
have
given Me comes
from You.
for the
words
which
thou
gavest
me
I have given unto
them ;
and they received `
them ',
and
knew of
a
truth
that I came forth
from thee
, and they believed that thou
didst
send
me.
For I have given them the
words
You
gave
Me,
and they have
received them .
They
knew with
certainty
that I came from You
, and they believed that You
sent
Me.
I pray
for
them:
I pray
not for
the world, but for
those whom
thou
hast
given me; for they are thine:
I ask
on
their
behalf.
I do
not ask
on
behalf
of
the world, but on
behalf
of
those You
have
given Me; for they are Yours.
and
all things
that
are
mine
are
thine
, and thine
are
mine :
and I
am
glorified
in them.
All I
have
is
Yours
, and all
You
have
is
Mine ;
and in them I
have
been
glorified
.
And
I am
no more
in the world, and
these
are in the world, and I come
to thee
. Holy Father, keep
them in
thy
name which
thou
hast
given
me, that they may be one ,
even
as we `
are '
.
I will
no longer
be
in the world, but
they
are in the world, and I am
coming
to You
. Holy Father, protect
them by
Your
name ,
the
name
You
gave
Me, so
that they may be one as We are one
.
While I was with them, I kept
them
in
thy
name
which
thou
hast
given
me:
and I
guarded
them, and
not one of them perished
, but
the son of perdition;
that the scripture might
be fulfilled.
While I was with them, I protected
and preserved
them by
Your
name
, the
name
You
gave
Me.
Not one of them has
been
lost
, except
the son of destruction,
so
that the Scripture would
be fulfilled.
But now I come
to thee
; and these things I speak
in the world, that they may have my joy made
full
in
themselves
.
But now I am
coming
to You
; and I
am
saying
these things while
I am
in the world, so
that they may have My joy fulfilled
within
them
.
I have given them thy
word ;
and the world hated them ,
because
they are not of the world, even
as I am not of the world.
I have given them Your
word and the world has
hated them ;
for
they are not of the world, just
as I am not of the world.
I pray
not that thou
shouldest
take them from
the world, but that thou
shouldest
keep them from the evil `
one '
.
I am
not asking
that You
take them out
of
the world, but that You
keep them from the evil one.
They are not of the world even
as I am not of the world.
They are not of the world ,
just
as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them in
the truth :
thy
word is truth.
Sanctify them by
the truth ;
Your
word is truth.
As thou
didst
send
me into the world, even
so
sent
I them into the world.
As You
sent
Me into the world, I have
also
sent
them into the world.
And
for their
sakes
I sanctify myself, that they themselves
also
may be sanctified in
truth.
For them
I sanctify Myself, so
that they too
may be sanctified by
the
truth.
Neither
for
these
only
do
I pray
, but for
them
also that
believe
on me through their word;
I am
not
asking
on
behalf
of
them
alone
, but also on behalf
of
those
who
will
believe
in
Me through their message,
that they
may
all be one ;
even
as thou
, Father, `art'
in me, and I in thee,
that
they also may
be in us :
that the world may believe that thou
didst
send
me.
that all of
them
may
be one ,
as You
, Father, are
in Me, and I am
in You.
May
they also be in Us ,
so
that the world may believe that You
sent
Me.
And
the
glory
which
thou
hast
given
me
I have given unto
them ;
that they may be one ,
even
as we `
are '
one ;
I have given them the
glory
You
gave
Me,
so
that they may be one as We are one —
I in them ,
and thou
in me ,
that they may be perfected
into
one;
that the world may know that thou
didst
send
me ,
and lovedst
them ,
even
as thou
lovedst
me.
I in them and You
in Me —
that they may be perfectly
united,
so
that the world may know that You
sent
Me and have
loved
them just
as You
have
loved
Me.
Father, I desire
that
they
also
whom
thou
hast
given me be with me where I am, that they may behold
my
glory ,
which
thou
hast
given
me :
for
thou
lovedst
me before the foundation of the world.
Father, I want
those
You
have
given Me to
be with Me where I am, that they may see
the
glory You
gave
Me because
You
loved
Me before the foundation of the world.
O
righteous Father, the world knew
thee
not, but
I knew
thee;
and these
knew
that thou
didst
send
me ;
Righteous Father, although
the world has
not known
You
, I know
You,
and they
know
that You
sent
Me .
and I made known unto
them thy
name,
and will make it known ;
that the love wherewith
thou
lovedst
me may be in them, and I in them.
And I have
made Your
name
known to
them and will continue
to
make it known ,
so
that the love You
have
for
Me may be in them, and I in them. ”
