Thus says
Yahweh
, heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what
manner
of
house will
you
build to
me? and what
place shall
be
my rest?
Thus saith
the
LORD
, The
heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where

house that
ye
build unto
me? and where
is
the
place of
my rest?
For all these
things has
my
hand made, and [so]
all these
things came
to
be
, says
Yahweh
: but to this man will I look, even to him who
is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who
trembles
at my word.
For all those
things hath
mine
hand made, and all those
things have
been
, saith
the
LORD

He who
kills
an ox is as he who
kills
a man; he who
sacrifices
a lamb, as he who
breaks
a dog's neck; he who
offers
an offering
, [
as he who
offers]
pig's
blood; he who
burns
frankincense
, as he who
blesses
an idol. Yes
, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights
in their abominations :
He that
killeth
an ox is as if
he slew
a man; he that
sacrificeth
a lamb, as if
he cut
off
a dog's neck; he that
offereth
an oblation
, as if
he offered
swine's
blood; he that
burneth
incense
, as if
he blessed
an idol. Yea
, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth
in their abominations .
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on
them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke
, they did not hear: but they did that
which
was
evil in
my
eyes, and chose that in which I didn't
delight
.

Hear the word of Yahweh

tremble at his word :

A voice of tumult
from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Yahweh
that renders
recompense
to his enemies.

that rendereth

to his enemies.

Rejoice you
with Jerusalem, and be glad for
her, all you
who
love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you

mourn over
her ;

that you
may suck and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you

, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations

shall
see [it]

your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the
tender
grass
: and the hand of Yahweh
shall be known toward his servants ;

will come with fire, and his chariots shall

to render his anger with fierceness

Yahweh

judgment,

who
sanctify themselves and purify themselves [to
go]
to
the gardens ,
behind one in the midst, eating pig's
flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, they
shall come
to
an
end
together, says
Yahweh
.
They
that

know ]
their works and their thoughts: [the

, that I will gather all nations and languages

Yahweh,

dromedaries
, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says

offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh
.
And
they shall bring all your brethren
for
an
offering
unto
the
LORD
out of all nations upon
horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon
mules, and upon
swift
beasts
, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith
the
LORD
, as the children of Israel bring an
offering in a clean vessel into the house of the
LORD
.
Of
them
also
will
I take for priests [
and ]
for Levites, says
Yahweh
.
And
I will

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says
Yahweh
