God remembered Noah and
all the animals and livestock
that were with him in the ark .
And God sent
a wind over the earth ,
and
the waters began
to
subside
.
God remembered Noah ,
all the animals ,
and all
the
cattle
that were with him in the ark ;
and God made
a wind to
pass
over the earth .
The waters subsided
.
The springs
of
the
deep
and the floodgates
of
the
heavens
were closed
, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
The deep's
fountains
and the sky's
windows
were also
stopped
, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
The waters receded steadily
from the earth ,
and
after 150
days the waters had
gone
down
.
The waters receded from off
the earth continually.
After the
end
of
one
hundred
fifty
days the waters decreased
.
On the seventeenth day of the seventh
month, the
ark
came
to
rest
on the
mountains of
Ararat
.
The
ark
rested
in
the
seventh
month,
on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat's
mountains.
And
the waters continued
to
recede
until the tenth month, and
on the first day of the tenth
month the tops of the mountains became
visible
.
The waters receded
continually
until the tenth month .
In
the
tenth
month
, on the first day of the month ,
the tops of the mountains were
seen
.
After
forty days Noah opened the window he had made in
the
ark
It
happened
at
the
end
of
forty days ,
that
Noah opened the window of
the
ark
which
he had made ,
and sent out
a raven. It kept
flying
back and forth until the waters had
dried up from the earth.
and he
sent forth
a raven. It went
back and forth ,
until the waters were
dried up from off
the earth.
Then
Noah
sent out
a dove to see if the waters had
receded
from the surface of the ground .
He
sent forth
a dove from
him,
to see if the waters were
abated
from off
the surface of the ground ,
But the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him in
the ark ,
because
the waters were still
covering
the surface of all
the earth. So
he reached
out
his hand and brought her back
inside
the ark.
but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into
the ark ;
for
the waters were on
the surface of the whole
earth. He put
forth
his hand ,
and took
her,
and
brought her to
him
into
the ark.
Noah
waited
seven more
days and again sent out
the dove from
the ark.
He
stayed
yet
another
seven days ;
and again he
sent forth
the dove out
of
the ark.
And
behold,
the dove returned
to him in
the
evening with
a
freshly
plucked
olive
leaf
in her beak
. So Noah knew that the waters had
receded
from the earth.
The dove came
back
to him at
evening ,
and,
behold,
in her mouth
was
an
olive
leaf
plucked
off
. So Noah knew that the waters were
abated
from off
the earth.
And
Noah
waited
seven more
days and sent out
the dove again,
but
this
time
she did
not
return to him.
He
stayed
yet
another
seven days ,
and sent forth
the dove ;
and
she didn't
return to him any
more
.
In Noah’s
six hundred and
first year, on
the first day of the first
month, the waters had
dried up from the earth. So
Noah removed the covering from
the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry
.
It
happened
in the
six hundred first year, in
the first month,
the
first
day of the month, the waters were
dried up from off
the earth. Noah removed the covering of
the ark ,
and looked.
He
saw that the surface of the ground was dried
.
By
the twenty-seventh day of the second
month, the earth was fully
dry.
In
the second
month,
on
the
twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
Then
God said
to Noah,
God spoke
to Noah, saying,
“Come
out
of
the ark, you and your wife, along
with
your sons and their
wives.
"Go
forth
from
the ark, you ,
and your wife, and
your sons ,
and your
sons'
wives with
you
.
Bring out
all
the
living creatures
that are
with you —
birds, livestock
, and everything
that crawls
upon
the ground—so
that they can
spread
out
over
the earth and be fruitful and multiply upon
it
. ”
Bring forth
with
you
every
living thing
that is
with you of
all
flesh,
including
birds, cattle
, and every
creeping
thing
that creeps
on
the earth;
that they may
breed
abundantly
in
the earth ,
and be fruitful ,
and multiply on
the
earth
. "
So
Noah came
out
, along
with his sons and
his wife and his sons ’
wives.
Noah went
forth
, with his sons ,
his wife ,
and his sons '
wives with
him
.
Every living
creature
, every creeping thing, and every bird —everything
that
moves upon
the earth —came
out of the ark ,
kind
by
kind
.
Every animal
, every creeping thing, and every bird ,
whatever
moves on
the earth ,
after
their
families,
went
forth
out of the ark.
Then
Noah built an altar to the
LORD.
And taking
from
every
kind
of clean animal and clean bird, he
offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Noah built an altar to Yahweh,
and took
of every
clean animal ,
and of
every
clean bird, and
offered burnt offerings on the altar.
When
the
LORD
smelled the pleasing
aroma,
He
said in His heart, “Never
again
will
I curse the ground because
of
man
, even
though
every
inclination
of his
heart is evil from his youth .
And
never
again
will I destroy
all
living creatures
as I have done.
Yahweh
smelled the sweet
savor.
Yahweh
said in his heart, "
I will
not
again
curse the ground any
more
for
man's
sake
, because
the
imagination
of man's
heart is evil from his youth ;
neither
will I ever
again
strike
everything
living ,
as I have done.
As
long
as
the earth endures
, seedtime
and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall never
cease. ”
While
the earth remains
, seed
time
and harvest, and
cold and heat, and
summer and winter, and
day and night shall not
cease. "
