Edom).
Now
these
are
the generations
of Esau ( the
same
is Edom).
Esau took his wives from
the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamah daughter of Anah and
granddaughter
of Zibeon the Hivite,
Esau took his wives of
the daughters of Canaan: Adah the
daughter of Elon the Hittite, and
Oholibamah the
daughter of Anah ,
the
daughter
of Zibeon the Hivite,
and Basemath daughter of
Ishmael
and
sister of Nebaioth.
and Basemath Ishmael's
daughter ,
sister of Nebaioth.
And Adah bore
Eliphaz
to Esau ,
Basemath gave
birth
to
Reuel ,
And Adah bare
to Esau Eliphaz;
and
Basemath bare
Reuel ;
and Oholibamah gave
birth
to
Jeush, Jalam, and Korah .
These were
the sons of Esau, who
were born to
him in the land of Canaan.
and Oholibamah bare
Jeush, and
Jalam, and Korah :
these are
the sons of Esau, that
were born unto
him in the land of Canaan.
Later,
Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the people
of his household
, along
with
his livestock
, all his other
animals
, and all the
property
he had acquired
in Canaan ,
and he
moved
to
a land far
away from his brother Jacob.
And
Esau took his wives ,
and his
sons ,
and his
daughters ,
and all the souls
of his house
, and
his cattle
, and
all his beasts
, and all his
possessions,
which
he had gather
in the
land
of
Canaan ;
and went
into
a land away from his brother Jacob.
For their possessions
were
too great for them to dwell together; the land where
they
stayed
could not support
them because of their livestock
.
For their substance
was
too great for them to dwell together; and
the land of
their
sojournings
could not bear
them because of their cattle
.
So
Esau (that
is,
Edom)
settled
in the
area
of
Mount Seir.
And
Esau dwelt
in mount Seir :
Esau
is
Edom
.
This
is
the account
of Esau ,
the father of the Edomites ,
in the
area
of
Mount Seir .
And
these
are
the generations
of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir :
These are the names of Esau’s
sons: Eliphaz son of Esau’s
wife
Adah, and
Reuel son of Esau’s
wife
Basemath.
these are the names of Esau's
sons: Eliphaz the
son of Adah the
wife
of
Esau
, Reuel the
son of Basemath the
wife
of
Esau
.
The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
And
the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and
Gatam, and Kenaz.
Additionally,
Timna ,
a
concubine of
Esau’s
son
Eliphaz ,
gave
birth
to Amalek .
These are the grandsons
of Esau’s
wife
Adah.
And
Timna was
concubine to
Eliphaz Esau's
son;
and
she
bare
to Eliphaz
Amalek :
these are the sons
of Adah ,
Esau's
wife
.
These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah .
They
are
the grandsons
of Esau’s

Basemath.
And

Esau's

These are
the sons of Esau’s

daughter of Anah and

whom
she bore
to Esau :
Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
And

the sons of Oholibamah the
daughter of Anah ,
the
daughter
of Zibeon ,
Esau's
wife:
and
she bare
to Esau Jeush, and
Jalam, and Korah.

the sons of Esau .

Masrekah reigned in his place

the Euphrates
