This
is
the account
of Noah’s
sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth ,
who
also
had
sons after the flood.
Now
these
are
the generations
of the
sons of
Noah,
`namely',
of
Shem, Ham, and Japheth :
and
unto
them
were
sons born
after the flood.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and
Magog, and
Madai, and
Javan, and
Tubal, and
Meshech, and Tiras.
The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
And
the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and
Riphath, and Togarmah.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the
Kittites
, and the
Rodanites
.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and
Tarshish, Kittim
, and Dodanim
.
From
these ,
the maritime
peoples
separated
into
their territories
, according
to
their languages
, by
clans
within
their nations.
Of
these were
the isles
of
the
nations
divided
in
their lands
, every
one
after
his
tongue,
after
their families
, in
their nations.
The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
And
the sons of Ham: Cush, and
Mizraim, and
Put, and Canaan.
The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca .
And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
And
the sons of Cush: Seba, and
Havilah, and
Sabtah, and
Raamah, and Sabteca ;
and the sons of Raamah: Sheba ,
and Dedan.
Cush was
the
father
of
Nimrod ,
who
began to be a mighty one on
the earth.
And
Cush begat
Nimrod :
he
began to be a mighty one in
the earth.
He was a mighty hunter before the
LORD;
so
it is said, “
Like Nimrod ,
a mighty hunter before the
LORD
. ”
He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah:
wherefore
it is said, Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before Jehovah
.
His kingdom began
in
Babylon
, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
And
the
beginning
of
his kingdom was
Babel
, and
Erech, and
Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
From
that land he went forth into Assyria, where
he
built
Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
Out
of
that land he went forth into Assyria, and
builded
Nineveh, and
Rehoboth-ir, and
Calah,
and Resen ,
which
is
between Nineveh and the great city of
Calah
.
and Resen between Nineveh and Calah

the same
is
the
great city )

Mizraim was
the
father
of
the
Ludites
, the
Anamites

Lehabites

Naphtuhites
,
And
Mizraim begat
Ludim

the

Casluhites
( from
whom
the Philistines came
), and the

went
forth

And Canaan was

father

Sidon his firstborn

the
Hittites
,
And Canaan begat
Sidon his first-born

the Jebusites
, the Amorites
, the Girgashites
,
and
the Jebusite
, and
the Amorite

the Girgashite
,
the Hivites
, the Arkites
, the Sinites
,
and
the Hivite

the Arvadites
, the Zemarites
, and the Hamathites.
Later
the Canaanite clans
were
scattered,
and
the Arvadite

the Zemarite
, and the Hamathite:
and
afterward
were
the families
of
the
Canaanite spread
abroad.
and the borders
of Canaan
extended
from Sidon toward Gerar as
far
as
Gaza
, and
then
toward Sodom ,
Gomorrah ,
Admah ,
and Zeboiim, as
far
as
Lasha.
And the border
of the
Canaanite
was
from Sidon ,
as
thou
goest
toward Gerar, unto
Gaza;
as
thou
goest
toward Sodom and
Gomorrah and
Admah and Zeboiim, unto
Lasha.
These are the sons of Ham according
to
their clans
, languages
, lands, and
nations.
These are the sons of Ham ,
after
their families
, after
their
tongues
, in
their
lands, in
their
nations.
And sons
were
also
born
to
Shem, the older
brother
of
Japheth;
Shem
was
the
forefather
of all the sons
of Eber.
And unto
Shem, the father
of all the children
of Eber ,
the
elder
brother
of
Japheth,
to
him
also
were
children
born
.
The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad
, Lud, and Aram.
The sons of Shem: Elam, and
Asshur, and
Arpachshad
, and
Lud, and Aram.
The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
And
the sons of Aram: Uz, and
Hul, and
Gether, and Mash.
Arphaxad
was
the
father
of
Shelah ,
and Shelah was
the
father
of
Eber.
And
Arpachshad
begat
Shelah ;
and Shelah begat
Eber.
Two
sons
were born to
Eber
: One was named
Peleg ,
because
in his days the earth was
divided ,
and his brother
was named
Joktan.
And
unto
Eber
were born two
sons
: The
name
of
the
one was Peleg .
For
in his days was
the earth divided .
And his brother's
name
was Joktan.
And Joktan was
the
father
of
Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
And Joktan begat
Almodad, and
Sheleph, and
Hazarmaveth, and
Jerah,
Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
and
Hadoram, and
Uzal, and
Diklah,
Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
and
Obal, and
Abimael, and
Sheba,
Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab .
All these were sons of Joktan.
and
Ophir, and
Havilah, and Jobab :
all these were the
sons of Joktan.
Their territory
extended
from Mesha to
Sephar, in
the eastern
hill
country
.
And
their dwelling
was
from Mesha ,
as
thou
goest
toward
Sephar, the mountain
of
the
east
.
These are the sons of Shem, according
to
their clans
, languages
, lands, and
nations.
These are the sons of Shem, after
their families
, after
their
tongues
, in
their
lands, after
their
nations.
All
these are the clans
of Noah’s
sons, according
to
their generations and
nations .
From
these the nations of
the earth spread
out
after the flood.
These are the families
of the
sons of
Noah
, after
their generations ,
in
their
nations :
and
of
these were
the nations divided
in
the earth after the flood.
