for freedom that
Christ has
set us free .
Stand firm,
then
, and do
not
be encumbered
once
more
by
a yoke of slavery
.
For freedom did
Christ set us free :
stand fast
therefore
, and be not
entangled
again
in
a yoke of bondage
.
Take
notice:
I
, Paul ,
tell
you that if you
let
yourselves
be
circumcised
, Christ will be
of
no
value
to
you at
all
.
Behold
, I
Paul say
unto
you ,
that ,
if ye
receive
circumcision
, Christ will profit
you nothing
.
Again
I testify to every man who
gets
himself
circumcised
that he is obligated
to obey
the whole law.
Yea,
I testify again
to every man that receiveth
circumcision,
that
he is a
debtor
to do
the whole law.
You
who
are trying
to
be justified by the law have
been
severed
from
Christ
; you
have
fallen away from grace.
Ye
are severed
from
Christ,
ye
would
be justified by the law; ye
are
fallen away from grace.
But
by
faith
we eagerly
await
through the Spirit the hope of righteousness.
For
we through the Spirit by
faith
wait
for
the hope of righteousness.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has
any
value.
All
that
matters
is
faith ,
expressed
through love.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth
anything,
nor uncircumcision ;
but
faith working
through love.
You
were running so
well .
Who has
obstructed
you from
obeying
the truth?
Ye
were running well ;
who hindered
you that
ye
should
not
obey
the truth?
Such
persuasion does
not come
from
the
One
who
calls
you.
This
persuasion `came'
not of
him
that
calleth
you.
A little leaven works
through
the whole batch
of
dough
.
A little leaven leaveneth
the whole lump
.
I am
confident
in the Lord that you
will take
no
other
view.
The
one
who
is
troubling
you will
bear the
judgment, whoever
he may
be.
I have
confidence
to
you-ward
in the Lord ,
that ye
will be
none
otherwise
minded:
but
he
that
troubleth
you shall
bear his
judgment, whosoever
he be.
Now
, brothers
, if I am
still preaching
circumcision, why am I still being
persecuted? In
that
case
the offense
of the cross has
been abolished
.
But
I
, brethren
, if I still preach
circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then
hath
the stumbling-block
of the cross been done
away
.
As
for
those
who
are
agitating
you,
I wish
they would proceed
to
emasculate
themselves!
I would
that
they that
unsettle
you
would even
go
beyond
circumcision.
For you
, brothers
, were called to
freedom; but
do
not
use your freedom as
an
opportunity
for the flesh .
Rather
, serve
one another in
love
.
For ye
, brethren
, were called for
freedom; only
`
use '
not
your freedom for an
occasion
to
the flesh, but
through
love
be
servants
one to
another.
The entire
law is fulfilled in a
single
decree
: “
Love your
neighbor as yourself
. ”
For
the whole
law is fulfilled in one
word,
`even'
in
this
: Thou
shalt
love thy
neighbor as thyself
.
But if you
keep
on
biting
and devouring
one another, watch
out,
or
you
will
be consumed by
one another.
But if ye
bite
and devour
one another, take
heed
that
ye
be not
consumed one of
another.
So
I say, walk by the Spirit, and you
will
not gratify
the desires
of the flesh.
But
I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye
shall
not fulfil
the lust
of the flesh.
For the flesh craves
what
is
contrary
to
the Spirit, and the Spirit what
is
contrary
to
the flesh .
They
are opposed
to each
other ,
so
that you
do
not do what
you
want
.
For the flesh lusteth
against
the Spirit, and the Spirit against
the flesh ;
for
these
are contrary
the
one
to the
other ;
that ye
may
not do the
things
that
ye
would
.
But if you
are led by the Spirit, you
are not under the law.
But if ye
are led by the Spirit, ye
are not under the law.
The acts
of the flesh are obvious
: sexual
immorality
, impurity
, and
debauchery;
Now
the works
of the flesh are manifest,
which
are
`these'
: fornication
, uncleanness
, lasciviousness,
idolatry and
sorcery ;
hatred
, discord
, jealousy
, and
rage;
rivalries
, divisions
, factions,
idolatry ,
sorcery, enmities
, strife
, jealousies
, wraths
, factions, divisions,
parties,
and
envy;
drunkenness, orgies
, and the
like .
I warn
you, as I did before
, that those
who practice
such things will
not inherit the kingdom of God.

, and such
like ;
of
which
I forewarn
you, even
as I did forewarn
you
, that they
who practise
such things shall
not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience
, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering
, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness
, and
self-control .
Against such things
there is no law.
meekness
, self-control ;
against such there is no law.
Those
who
belong
to
Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its
passions and desires
.
And
they
that
are
of
Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the
passions and the
lusts
thereof
.
Since
we live by the Spirit, let us walk in
step
with
the
Spirit
.
If
we live by the Spirit, by
the
Spirit
let us also
walk.
Let us not become conceited
, provoking and
envying one another.
Let us not become vainglorious
, provoking one
another,
envying one another.
